Suddenly I choked on the thin air and sat up.
"Dad?! What're you doing here?" Ryder asked smoothing out his hair as I fixed my dress.
"This is the first time I've walked into you and someone else in your office. Reminds of the good old days when I would fuck you mo-"
"DAD! NO! NO NO NO!"
"Sorry son." His father chuckled.
"This is my girlfriend Natalia. Natalia, This is my dad Mercury." He introduced us.
"Hi, I'm so sorry." I couldn't decide whether I should shake his hand or not when he suddenly grabbed my hand and kissed it.
"Figlio, è Bellissima." He said.
"Huh?"
"Non ho mai avuto cattivo gusto nelle Donne papà." Ryder chuckled.
"Sì, ma è il migliore che hai avuto finora nell'aspetto." His father smiled.
"Bene, non sbagli." Ryder looked at me.
I was so confused.
"I just came here to congratulate you." His dad sat behind his desk.
"On?"
"You didn't hear? Your game reached #1 Most Played in the US."
"Oh." Ryder was too busy typing on his computer to even care.
"You're not happy?" His dad asked.
"What? I am." Ryder hadn't even looked up.
"You've been spending so much time trying to prove yourself to your mother and I and when you've finally done it, you don't care?"
"You misunderstand. The United States doesn't even put a dent in the number of countries there are. When I've reached the top of the world, then and only then will I celebrate." Ryder fixed his glasses and looked dead into his father's eyes.
"Hey, son! I bought you this bottle of champagne to celebrate." I'm guessing his mother came in and set a fancy bottle on his desk.
"Thanks, mom." Ryder hadn't taken his eyes off the desktop.
"Who's this pretty lady?" She asked. Ryder looked at me, "Natalia this is my mother Gaia, mom this is my girlfriend Natalia." I shook her hand but caught Ryder looking down at my breasts.
He picked up a phone and dialed a number.
"Come here please." He said before hanging up. There was an awkward wave of silence. A tall man knocked on the door before entering.
"Sir?"
"Take my beautiful girlfriend here to get a few tailored outfits. You know to put the money on my tab." He stood up and kissed me. Before sending me away with this man.
"We need to discuss something."
