Chapter 28: Sweet Dreams
In some room part of the foundation, a man is staring at his computer. The room being a mess, paper stacks laying about the room. Shelves with books on top of each other, half falling but held by the other books. Typing out a new document. With a coffee mug right next to him, he would pick it up and was about to take a sip until...
A woman bursts through the door.
"Felix!"
Felix drops his coffee mug onto the floor, shattering it.
"JESUS... What is it now?"
"The doctor needs you."
"...And which one would that be?"
"Doctor Bright of course!"
"That son of a... Just tell him I'll be there in half an hour."
"He isn't going to be happy but you do you."
Felix stares at the woman as she steps closer towards his face.
"What are you doing Scarlet?"
"Nothing~"
"You know we can't do that at work."
"C'mooon there aren't any cameras."
Felix rolls his chair a bit to the side of Scarlet, looking at the camera above the door. Rolling back, he stares at her jade, green eyes surrounded by her flowing brown hair.
"How about later at home when work is done? That sound fine?"
"Fine..." Scarlet crossed her hands and looked away with a pouting face.
"I'll be continuing my work then."
"Okay then, goodbye darling."
"Goodbye to you too Scarlet."
Just as Felix was about to type up the document, Scarlet yells as she is about to leave,
"Don't forget to see Doctor Bright!"
"Alright, alright I won't."
Her steps started to fade.
Felix then stares back at the computer only to noticed something strange. His.. reflection was melting? His eyes started to fall through his eyelids, the bone in his nose started to become visible as piece of his flesh would fall off. Felix looked back at himself, touching his hands to then feel a slimy texture. His hands began to drip pieces, pieces that were an entirely different color from his skin. These pieces were oddly... black, but with no time to question it, he called out,
"HELP! SOMEONE HELP ME!"
No one came.
A pitch-black puddle started to form. Arms of the same color pulled on his legs, dragging him into the puddle. Felix held his arm high, just hoping for something to happen to come and save him. Just that hope to keep himself alive, but it didn't work. Now the puddle was up to his neck. Felix, with no hope in his eyes, stared into the lamp lights.
....
"AAGHH!"
Masaru stares at the bloodied brick walls. Holding his head with both hands, he mutters,
"It's just a dream... It was just a dream. Nothing more... Scarlet... I miss you."
Suddenly noticing the rope was no long around him, he finds a piece of paper on the ground. Picking it up, it reads.

Masaru, once you have woken up, you must come out to the training grounds.
(Several directions are written here)

Standing up, he walked towards the exit. Chipper to be out of that damned place in the palace. Stepping out of the stairway, he gained several looks from the maids and guards passing by. His hair being a mess,
with some pieces sticking out from the side. Giving them a little embarrased look before looking away, following the directions.
....
Stepping out and onto the training ground, he spotted several people there. Three of them that he already recognizes. Wave looked back and gave a little wave to Masaru, in which he waved back. Stepping into the formation, a line. Masaru stood at the very end, just next to the tall man with some sort of gas mask on his face. Esdeath stood firm in front of the group. Giving Masaru a small smile.
"Alright men! We will begin your training now!"

W1nt3rB3rry Alright, I had an author block or whatever it was called. Although I had several ideas, they would put the mc into another universe or at the very end. I was also lazy af...
