Chapter 19: •Her Side ²
<To you , who knows me. I'm writing this diary just in case I die...>
On my first day coming out of tube a room was assigned to me , it was pretty normal room with brown walls and only had essential things like washroom , a sink , a bed and a study table.
For some reason the diary lying on table attracted my attention , it was just a old grey-coloured diary with no fancy drawing on it. After few minutes lying on the bed I couldn't get the thought of the diary and started writing in it.
<... I don't know who I am , but if you've come to find me here and find this diary instead of me , assume that I'm dead. I thank you for making efforts to come and save me , I thank you for remembering me and not forgetting about my existence , I thank you for cherishing me enough to come find me here.>
<But I'm sorry if you don't find me along with this diary , from this day I'll write everything I did in this diary. Maybe it was all their plan , by 'their' I mean the people who've kept me here. Maybe they'll just destroy this diary even if I'm dead or alive , but I'm writing this in the hope that it'll reach you.>
'I hope those b*stards don't read this diary.'
<And if it's one of the scientists who's reading this , F*ck you!>
That is how the first page of my diary was completely filled up.
'I don't have much to write , well I haven't even spent a whole day here to write about it.'
When the man in the suit hurt me some kind of weapon I passed out , and when I opened my eyes I saw myself in this room.
'Let's continue tonight.'
That was the first and last time I wrote in that diary. From that night onwards I didn't- no I couldn't continue writing in that diary.
'Err Err'
Making that sound the door opened with few men wearing black clothes and a big mask entering the room , suddenly I started feeling dizzy and in the moment I found myself with both of hands cut.
I could hear the sound of blood dripping from my shoulders , for some reason it didn't hurt much as last night. Infront of me were two men armed with some kind of guns.
'W-What is going on? Why am I h-here?'
The white gown I wore was covered in blood , while I was still wondering why I was in this situation the 2 men rushed towards me with guns in their hands.
After reaching a certain distance both of them aimed their weird guns at me. Trying to save myself from those bullets I took a step on my right and tried to run.
'Click'
I fell on my knees. With my blood covered shoulder I struggled to get as far away as possible from them , but infront of 2 armed men my efforts were nothing but wasted.
With a press on the trigger I felt something penetrating my shoulder.
'Aaargh'
My scream filled pain and agony didn't stop them as they continued to fire one after another weird bullets. Few seconds later my body couldn't feel anything , 16 bullet holes on my legs , 4 on my abdomen , 9 on my chest and 6 on my face.
I was surprised myself that I survived that but then the cold feeling seeped in my body. Lying on the laboratory's floor covered in blood I tried to reach for one of the man's leg but couldn't.
'Just kill me.'
I already knew that giving up was the only option I had to end my suffering.
'I hope I can meet my family on the other side. Even though I don't remember my mother I want to see her , even though I forgot my dad's face just let me meet him on the other side.'
The only thing I could feel besides the coldness was the pain in my chest.
'Tap Tap Tap'
"It's not time for you to die... yet."
My eyes were blurry but I recognised his sh*tty voice , he was the one handed man I saw last time. I helplessly lied on the waiting for my death.
'Uhm... Uh... What is this bright light?'
When I opened my eyes I saw the sight that I least hoped to see. The same 2 armed men stood before me.
"Well then... Now that the subject is awake let's start the test again , shall we?"
Like I said , it was just the start of hell.
