"What do you mean by Haki's 'real face'?"

Conor finally decided to open his mouth and talk.

"This video should answer your question…"

Rin flipped the tablet he brought with him and played the video , everyone's eyes were fixed on the tablet screen.

The video started with a tall young man walking on an empty road , in the right corner date and time of the recording were displayed.

Jeri noticed the time and said ,

"The time… we don't-"

"Shh"

Rin shushed Jeri and said ,

"Just wait and watch."

Although he said that Rin went ahead and paused the video , everyone watching the video now shifted their attention to Rin.

"You know what just watching the recording of our dead friend with no sound is boring , I'll add some commentary to it."

Saying that he resumed the video.

The tall young man who was supposed to be Haki continued walking till he was out of sight of the camera.

"The day is the 12th of May and as you can see the time is 23:35. A question for Jeri what time did we always end our cleanup by?"

"23:30."

"The recording we are currently watching is of the road in front of Haki's dorm. Now watch the video carefully."

The whole group fixed their eyes on the tablet screen , nothing abnormal could be seen on it the empty road was still empty. The streetlight was as bright as before , suddenly a triangle appeared on the screen.

"There! Did you see that?"

With her somewhat annoyed voice Heli replied ,

"Yeah , I did. I saw the triangle pop up when you paused the video , what was there to see in that video? I didn't notice sh*t."

"Oh, Heli Heli Heli. I paused the video cause I knew that none of you could've noticed it. No instead of the street look at the wall , do you see some kind of shadow behind the wall?"

Heli finally noticed what Rin was trying to show to her along with her Conor , Jeff and Jeri also noticed the shadow behind the wall.

"How do you know that it's Haki's shadow? A logical question. To answer that let's go back in the past and rewind the tape to 7 months back. The day we started hunting those b*stards , the first night we did clean up it was shown on news. I guess we went a bit overboard that night , anyways the officers from Corp. said that the few mutants died when they were clearing the base. It didn't make sense , Corporation's officers are professionally trained. The reason Corp. exists is to protect mutants , even if they're sinners. Heli can you pass your coffee to me."

'Is he going to explain something with the coffee cup?'

Thinking that she passed her cup to Rin.

'Slurp'

Heli was yet again disappointed in herself.

"Thank you so much , I was thirsty after talking for so long. Anyways let me continue , where were we at again? Ah right , so basically I wanted to say that Corp. doesn't like to kill mutants."

Jeri raised her hand indicating that she had a question , Rin gave her nod with a smile on his face.

"How can say that the Mutant Corp.-"

"Is innocent. That is your question right?"

"Well yeah , it was."

"Y'all don't know anything do you?"

"…"

The whole table went silent.

"Hah… fine, I'll tell you as your friend. Once you enter Mutant Corp. specifically the fighting and the section which does the physical stuff you've two options. To be a good guy or a bad guy. They don't give you these options , you can just notice that there are two divisions in the Corp. They're known as the Humane and Inhumane Divison , Inhumane is led by Vice President Neol while the other one is led by Haki's dad , Gary. Bet you didn't know that."

Looking at their wide opened eyes anyone could've told they didn't know about it.

"Inhumane Division only gets excited when a sinner is on run or when they find a base to hit , on the other hand, Humane Division is more peaceful they perform tasks like rescuing mutants and humans too , guiding the enlightened mutant on the right path and taking care of our cleanups. That's why I'm sure they had nothing to do with mutants that were killed during our clean-ups. I don't care if you believe me or not but that's the truth , I'm not gonna waste another minute to show evidence."

"Now back to the main story , after seeing the news I started spying on all of you. While we are at it congratulations Heli and Jeff wasn't your 6 months anniversary a week ago?"

Jeff got up from his seat and shouted ,

"Oh! Not cool! We've been hiding it for half a year and you just ruined it like that."

Heli pulled him back on the seat and said ,

"Stop overreacting and sit down. So I and Jeff are going out , big deal."

On the contrary of what she said Heli was very pissed at Rin for ruining their little relationship secret.

'F*cking b*stard just had to ruin it. Just wait Rin , one day I'll get back at you. A**hole.'

Rin ignored Heli's sharp gaze and continued ,

"After spying y'all for a week I didn't notice anything weird , you guys always went directly to your homes or dorms. Well, Jeff and Heli occasionally went to hotels but that is off the topic. I couldn't come up with anything so I thought that it wasn't one person and the team of two who killed the sinners. But Haki used to-"

'Used to'

It felt weird to say it that way .

"But Haki used to pick random team every time which made it hard to link any one of you to the murders."

"That's enough!"

Jeri spoke up and closed the tablet on the table.

"Stopping me here won't change the truth , Jeri."

'I'd my suspicion.'

Rin booted his tab up and played another video , this time it wasn't a CCTV recording it was a video recorded on phone. In the video Haki was seen killing a beaten-up sinner , his heavy hands landed on the sinners face crushing his nose and making his nose bleed.

'Sss'

Heli closed her eyes as she couldn't the raw power Haki used to kill the sinner , the sinner begged for his life but Haki didn't stop his barrage of punches.

"Ladies and Gentlemen I present to you the 'real Haki'."

Rin got up from his seat and said ,

"I'll leave the tablet and recordings for you guys , see it as many times as you want. Consider this as my goodbye gift."

On his way out Rin picked up Heli coffee and said ,

"Let's meet never again."

As the sun rays landed on his face his eyes twitched , instinctively he said ,

"Hey Booba play 'Sun's Out' on Utube."

The black device woke up and said ,

The refreshing sound of music made Gray dance in his bed , he threw his blanket away and started waving his hands in the air. Suddenly he stopped dancing around and opened his eyes to see who was disturbing his morning.

"I really can't understand the things people living in this country do."

Gray recognised the heavy voice of the man standing near the door of his bedroom.

"Sup Katana-man , or should I say Konnichiwa Katana-man."

"You're being racist."

"No Katana-man , I'm not being a racist."

"I don't even carry a Katana. You know where I come from that's why you're doing all this."

"Nope , you're a Kolian. I just want you know that I appreciate your race."

"Just treat me like a normal person."

"But I can't do that you'r-"

Before he could complete his sentence the man wearing sunglasses put one of the two wooden sticks he brought in Gray's mouth.

"Before we get carried and I forgot to do it , let me just quickly beat you. Nothing personal Gray , Archbishop Seil was just pissed at you. That's the only reason I'm here , you can talk sh*t about Kol all you want. But do that after I leave."

He wore a floral design shirt with shorts it was a beach outfit , on his right a wooden stick could be seen hanging onto something. Pulling the stick out of his mouth and the man gave Gray a little touch with it on back of his head.

"Argh , that still hurts."

After hearing Gray's scream the man put his stick back in the belt loop and said ,

"Now that I'm here , let's go to meet Seven together. Let's just get this over with."

The man who was wearing the beach outfit was none other than Archbishop Akuma , looking at his outfit nobody could've guessed that this man was a sinner who ruled over cities.

"Argh , stop doing Archbishop from next time onwards. That stick hurts like sh*t , we're on the same side."
