Chapter 5: chapter 5

If you wish for me to change the name from Altria to Artoria, I am available to do so.

*********

"I have a skill that can enhance the abilities of others," I said. Altria was surprised by my statement, even though she had already guessed the idea of my ability, and her eyes narrowed slightly as she thought about it. I was anxious, and my muscles tensed with nervousness as I waited for her response.

After a moment of silence, Altria seemed to decide that she did not want to know more about my ability. "Interesting," was all she said before looking away. I was a little disappointed but knew that I shouldn't worry too much about it. After all, what mattered was what I could do with my ability, not what others thought of it.

Despite Altria's lack of interest, I still wanted to boast a bit more about my system's ability. Was it too much to ask for the opportunity to show her my skills?

"They're taking a long time," I said, changing the subject. Altria nodded, and we both fell silent again, waiting for the arrival of the other team members.

Meanwhile, Olga was in a conversation with Dr. Roman's hologram. He was in a thoughtful pose while listening to Olga talk about the boy's servant. "Do you know who the boy's servant is? I heard him calling her Altria," Olga said, hoping that the doctor could help her discover more about the mysterious servant.

Romani rubbed his chin, thinking. "Altria...well, I already have a servant in mind, but I need to do some more research to be sure," he finally said.

"Great work, Romani," praised Olga, satisfied. Romani gave a bitter smile but didn't reply. He knew that ultimately, Olga only cared about the results he delivered.

"Hm, why do we have to be cautious with him? Just because he's a master? He doesn't seem dangerous to me," Ritsuka asked curiously, looking at Mash beside him.

"Not every master is nice," Mash replied, with an experienced expression. Ritsuka kept that in mind, pondering what Mash had said.

"Didn't know you were so experienced, Mash," Ritsuka said admiringly to Mash, who blushed.

"Let's go, Lancer." I walked away from where I was leaning and walked towards the group that was talking. Altria followed closely.

I approached the group and asked aloud, "So are we going?" Olga made a face of displeasure in response to my presence, but before she could say anything, I stuck out my tongue at her, which made her even more irritated. Ritsuka almost laughed, but Mash quickly put her hand over her mouth to stifle it.

Olga, still with an unhappy expression, finally broke the silence. "I thought you were dead," she said sarcastically.

I smiled at her, knowing she was trying to provoke me. "No, I'm very much alive, thank you for asking," I replied with an equally sarcastic tone.

Altria, who was beside me, seemed a little uncomfortable with the tension between us. "Let's focus on what matters now, master," she said, trying to calm things down.

With a nod, I agreed with her. "Right, we have a job to do. Let's go," I said, leading the group towards the mission we had ahead of us, but before that, Romani.

"I'm sensing several presences near you!" Romani spoke quickly, his voice urgent. Mash immediately took a combat stance, ready to face any threat that came towards the group. Altria, on the other hand, stepped in front of me, ready to protect me from any threat with her lance.

As we waited for the arrival of the unknown beings, I took the opportunity to observe them more closely. I had a brief glimpse of them before, but now that they appeared, I can analyze them better. Their blue eyes shone intensely, giving the impression that they could see through us. The brown clothes that covered their bodies seemed to be made of a resistant and unknown material, and did not reveal their forms or physical characteristics.

I was curious to know more about those strange creatures. They seemed different from anything I had ever seen before, at least in real life. In the game, I had already faced them.

"Finish them off, Mash!" Ritsuka spoke excitedly to the heroine, who was surprised by her master's sudden emotion. But Mash quickly recovered and gave a confident smile: "Leave it to me, master!"

"Don't lose to me, Ritsuka?" I spoke to the girl, encouraging her to give her best. She looked at me with her eyes on fire, demonstrating her determination to win the battle, even if the timing was not the best.

"We won't lose, Lancer!" I said with determination to Altria, feeling the adrenaline running through my veins. She looked at me with her golden eyes and nodded in silent agreement.

Ritsuka was so excited that she seemed about to have a heart attack. Her eyes shone with contagious excitement as she encouraged Mash to go all out. I laughed loudly with her excitement and challenged her, stating that whoever lost had to accept a request. Ritsuka immediately accepted, nodding her head in agreement.

Romani sighed and looked down, watching the two commanding their servants to fight against the enemies with great excitement. "But I'm not young anymore, director. I miss all this excitement and adrenaline of youth," he said with a nostalgic smile.

Olga looked at Romani with a strange look. "As far as I know, you're not that old," she commented. But still, she was quite concerned. Were these screams that the two idiots were making not going to attract more enemies to them?

Olga frowned. "Am I the only sensible person here?" she asked herself.
