Chapter 9: All Might and Battle
[ Ao's POV ]
The next day we went to school. First few periods were normal and the lunch was made by a Lunch hero? Anyways, me, Shoto, Momo saw Green-Boy, Iida-kun and Uraraka-chan sitting on the same bench in the cafeteria so we went towards them.
Curiosity got me so I asked, "Hey, Mr. Green-Boy, can we sit here?"
Midoriya: "Gre-green-Boy?"
"This blindfold limits my vision to colors of quirk and such so you are green hence Green-Boy." I said while pointing towards my blindfold and continued. "So can we join?"
Midoriya started panicking for no reason and looked at others who nodded, "Ye-yeah".
We had our lunch and went to our class.

When we were going towards our class Shoto asked me in a low voice, "You're not gonna tell Midoriya?"
I smiled and said, "Some things are better learnt by themselves. He should think creatively like yesterday to grow. I do the same to you too. It will just take him some time."
Shoto looked at me and gave me a nod. Looking at him with a pout, "Shoto-chan, you worried about your friends?". I teased my brother to which I only got his cold gaze.
'Ah, what happened to my kawaii brother.' Looking at us, Momo just smiled.
[In class]
While we were waiting for our next class, I 'saw' All Might right outside our class.
I saw something that made me frown. There was something dark near his core. And it was affecting it, like slowing using up his core to heal itself.
'What's that? An injury?', I thought to myself.
After he did his explanations we went to ground beta with our hero suites.
Mine is just like what Gojo Satoru wears in JJk. Of course some modifications were done too like the black gloves and my costume is all black too, including my eye mask. Also my shoes are changed to black boots. All in all, I look cool and have more freedom so that's all it matters. Plus they are fire and waterproof.

I reached ground beta before everyone since my costume didn't take so long to put on.
I saw All Might with his signature smile and a confident look. I was about to ask him about his injury but he started the conversation.
All Might: "Young Ao-kun, I saw your performance record the other day and I have to say, I'm impressed. Not only is your quirk powerful but your strength also matches the some lower tier strength type quirk."
I was genuinely happy to be complemented by our number one hero.
"Thank you All Might. I am honored to hear your compliment. I wanted to ask--", before I could say anything, me and All Might heard some of my classmates coming our way. I didn't know if I should talk about his injury in front of others so I planned to talk with him later.
After a few minutes, a lineup was formed and they walked towards us and boy oh boy, Uraraka-chan, Pink girl and Momo-chan are looking so good. Uraraka-chan and Pink girl have tight clothes which highlight their curves perfectly. And Momo-chan is practically showing off her boobs.
Hero course sikyo!!
Iida-kun became a robot huh, and who is this gay knight in shining armor? Bakugo looks like a comic character with that mask. I can almost see something like BAAAM behind him. Haha. And everyone else has a fitting image of a hero costume. Are we missing someone? Where is Gre-- HUH??
This guy looks like a power ranger. And what's up with that mask?
"Your costume looks simple", Momo said as she walked towards me.
"Yeah. I like it this way. And yours looks fabulous". Momo-chan didn't even flinch. This girl sure is something.
Shoto came towards us with his half ice costume. "You look like a frozen tuna", I teased. "And you look like a blind victim.", he retaliated. Aargh. That hurts. My brother is getting colder and colder. He should use his flames more to get hot. No homo.
All Might explained our course for today.
We are gonna do an indoor combat session. Works fine for me. I hope to go against Shoto as a villain. It would be fun teasing him.
Our role as Heroes is to capture the Villains or touch the weapon. And for Villains is to capture the hero or go for timeup while protecting the weapon.
After a random souffle I got paired with Momo-chan. Hurry.

First one to go are Green-Boy with Uraraka-chan VS Ash-boy and Iida-kun. Looks like a fun pair.
One lacks confidence while another has a superior complex. The two people in class with complete opposite personalities.
The match went on just as I thought. Superior complex VS Inferiority complex.
Ash-boy is explosive like his quirk. But what made me more interested is that Green-boy has guts to fight headon. At least something that matches his 'father'.
He predicted Ash-boy's movements first and came up with some do or die strategy. Revealing my moves in front of this boy is not a good thing in competitions. He is the observant type afterall. Same as Yura, our formal gang's brain.
And Ash-boy has very sharp battle instincts. Almost to the point it's scary for someone of our age. Maybe he had a teacher too.
Both in their own way are near Shoto's level. If they can overcome their initial problems with their quirks and attitude, they can stand on equal footing with Shoto who has a higher level of control.
At least Iida-kun was the most calm and the only one who's strategy did anything.
I turned to Shoto and talked in a low voice that only he could hear, "Don't underestimate them when you go against them in the future."
Shoto: "I know. That wild guy looked like he was out there without thinking but he's more subtle than I expected."
"Umm. He has what father has too." I said. Shoto frowned at my words. I smiled and said, "Battle Mania".
Our father is not so fixed on being number 1 for nothing. It's a nature that his quirk, grandma and his superior complex made him. He sometimes in training goes on a state he calls [ Battle Mania ].
In simple words, a thrust for battle and a thrust to crush anything that stands in front of them.
At the end of the fight, Green-boy did something that shocked me. He punched upwards which made a whole on the roof of several floors.
He has a powerful quirk, it's only downside is that you need to have a powerful vessel to use it and train your body to absolute control over your quirk.
His body probably cannot contain the true power of his quirk but I'm sure there is more than this.
After a few seconds, Uraraka-chan managed to float and land on the weapon, winning them this battle. But looking at the damage on the hero's side and the fact that it's a very risky trade, it's safe to say that they lost the war.

Someone took Green-Boy towards Recovery Girl while everyone else came to the monitor room.
All Might said something that made me so happy.
"Team B Vs Team C. Brother VS brother huh. This is going to be interesting."
What's this, a new year present? All my wishes are coming true.
Me and Momo-chan are Villains while Shoto and Shoji-kun are Heros. Hehe. Now how are we gonna win? What's Shoto gonna do? Both of his quirks don't have any advantage against me afterall.

[ 3rd person's POV ]
Both teams took their positions to plan and wait for the signal to start.
"Since you know Shoto-san's quirk more you should make a plan right?" asked Momo.
"To be honest in terms of pure quirk, Shoto knows he can't win against me so he will use something else. He also knows my one and only weakness but I doubt he will use it in this match when so many people are looking." Ao said with a serious look.
"And what is that?" Momo asked, looking at him.
Ao just smiled and said, "Don;t worry he won't use it since it won't be a fair fight against me. And also I suck at planning so I think you should do that more than me."
Ao lied at the end since he wanted Momo to take part in this one. He knew that if he just went all out he could win against everyone in his class and it would overshadow Momo's performance.
Momo was looking at Ao with wide eyes. To her, Ao always looked like a smart and funny guy who is strong too. But seeing him give her the ham on planning was a bit odd to her. She wanted to argue about his statement but Ao explained,
"You are better than anyone in class when it comes to observation and understanding situations Momo-chan. You only lack focus and experience in battle. When you judged Iida and the team you were all confident about your analysis but since we walked into this building, your focus wasn't there and when you realized you didn't have a solution despite thinking of everything you asked me with a reason to consult with a partner and hide that you couldn't. I have already fought in this type of battle with my sensei and senpais in the club and outside with dad, so now it's your turn to improve."
At that moment Momo understood what type of guy Ao was. He wasn't the type of guy he described himself as, but rather a person who despite blinding himself could see many things. She had a feeling that he always had the situation under his control. She took a deep breath and started to think of a plan but…

Ao got up from his position and blue flames started coming out of his body. He turned to Momo and said, "Maybe next time. You already know your shortcomings, now you only need practice."
As soon as he stopped talking, the entire room got covered in ice. No, the entire building got covered in ice. The ice was thick enough to cover the entire room.
"Oh my, Shoto-chan is going 100% from the start huh. Well, let's see." The temperature of the room started to rise and the ice started to melt. Slowly the flames on Ao's body started spreading and engulfed the whole building.
Students and All Might inside the monitor room started panicking since Shoto and Momo were also covered by the flames.
Shoto opened his eyes after the flames started to settle down, but what replaced his vision was a palm that grabbed his head and threw him towards his partner.
When the flames died down, Momo was standing there in her room perfectly fine without even a single hair burnt while Ao was already at the bottom floor outside the building and in front of Shoto and Shoji. He looked at them and smiled while looking relaxed like he was just meeting his friends in a shopping mall.
"Momo-chan, take the weapon and move it to another room. I'll keep them busy till the show ends." Ao said to his speaker.
"A-are you sure?"
"I'm sure that I can keep them here but since Shoji-kun can probably enhance his senses so don't make a sound. Or make something that messes with his hearing and make him bleed a little. You can do that?"
"Ble-Bleed?" Momo shuttered but still said, "O-ok. I can".
Momo took the weapon and went to another room. Ao added, "Ah and don't use it till I tell you to, ok?".
"Umm" she replied.
Ao looked towards Shoto and Shoji-kun who were standing up and looking towards him ready to fight, "Now boys, should I try like Iida-kun did?"
He put a grin on his face and adjusted his voice to go deep. "Ahem. Now heroes, since you have come this far, I'll entertain you. And don't even think about going any further, since your journey ends here."

[Inside the monitoring room]
Uraraka: "He sounds like a cheap villain."
Everyone gave a nod including All Might.
Ashido: "But he sounds so cool."
This time only the girls and All Might gave a nod.

Shoji tried to listen to where Momo was but got interrupted by Ao's kick.
Shoto shouted, "If we wanna find the weapon we have to distract him."
Shoji asked in confusion. "But how?"
'Looks like they didn't plan this scenario. Perfect.' Ao thought.
Shoto yelled "I'll try to do that, you find a way to go in and go for Momo-san."
Saying that Shoto fired ice at Ao's right but Ao simply melted it off in seconds. Seeing that Ao didn't move, Shoji jumped towards the upper floor. A pillar of blue fire came in front of Shoji and a fist punched him very hard.
Shoji was sent flying towards another building. Spikes of ice came towards Ao which he dodged by stepping to his right.
Ao sped up towards Shoto and punched him which got blocked by ice. Ao immediately used ice to cover Shouto but Shoto countered with his flames.
Knowing that he cannot win against his big brother, Shoto created a wall of ice and looked towards his left. He saw Shoji under the rubble slowly getting up. He saw that Shoji's chest was burned by Ao flames.
"Like always, you look somewhere else when you're in a fight, Shoto-chan." Ao whispered like a creep behind Shoto.
"You lose." That was the last thing Shoto heard before his vision blacked out.

Ao quickly put tape on his brother and went to find Shoji.
All of a sudden rocks started flying towards his face which he passed through easily since OH and Logia were in perfect sync since when he wasn't in full battle mode.
At last he came near Shoji whose chest was bruised and he seemed to have suffered from minor concussion since he couldn't stand straight and his aim was off.
Ao put on tape on him too and All Might announced the match was over.
Ao healed Shoji's bruise and woke Shoto up before going towards the control room. Everyone had different expressions. Momo had a determined expression while Shoto was thinking about what Ao said before he lost his consciousness.
He was also thinking about what made him lose this fight so easily. The answers were easy - Control over quirk, him getting distracted and Ao reaction speed.
Bakugo looked like he had seen something unbelievable. He couldn't believe the power both Todoroki brothers displayed.
He wasn't sure if he could win against Shoto in 1 vs 1 but he was sure that he would lose against Ao. Why because from first to last he knew Ao didn't use his all and was simply playing with his opponents.
He was proud but not dumb to not see that Shoto who was his equal or at least near his level got played and that is when he had 2 powerful quirks.
His confidence in himself and quirk was getting more and more challenged. First Midoriya and now these two. He greeted his teeth and looked down the entire time.
After some talk about their performance, Ao was given the MVP for this battle since he was the main brain and brawl throughout.
The rest of the battle went without any incident and the day went off.
