Chapter 1: Prologue
A middle aged, brunette man is arguing in a room when he suddenly reaches out and is pulling and slapping a middle-aged blonde woman, who lies on the king-size bed helplessly.
He stops after a while and tugs his hair in frustration. The woman sits up and hugs her pillow, squeezing her tiny body against the bed frame as if trying to make herself invisible. She has bruises on her face and is shedding tears, looking away from the man.
