Chapter 14: 'Date' <Filler> (Read Author Thought)
After that 'fight' for my 'life' I went home feeling very tired not physically, but mentally, you see I had reporters rush from all sides to interview me and my classmates for the news next day and since my sould is fused with Naruto's I can't really avoid them due to my charming personality. I had every single chakra I had inside of me used up because of those reporters not wanting to leave me behind and I used my chakra to maintain my energetic look and somehow I'm still alive after all that.
(Next Day)
We got a day off for today because of the USJ incident and I wanted to have a 'date' with Mina but for this to work, Kirishima must not be free and I went to call them.
Me: "Hey guys do you want to 'hangout' again, since we got the day to spend?"
Kirishima: "Oh that seems like fun let me ask my parents."
Mina: "Yea me too, I really am bored at home."
(3 Minutes Later)
Kirishima: "Hey man I'm sorry, I can't come today. My parents are over-protective and they want me to stay home and relax."
Mina: "Oh sorry Kirishima, my parents said sure and they told me to be extra careful."
Me: "Alright, then Mina see you later at noon in the park bye."
MIna: "Alright, bye."
Kirishima: "Bye guys."
'Man luck is really on my side today.' I thought.
I was waiting at the park looking at my phone when I suddenly heard a person shouting my name "Naruto, so this is where you were I was having major trouble trying to find you." Mina said. "Oh sorry welp where do you want to go?" I asked. Mina then said: "Well lets just stay at the park for now since it's quite nice here."
Then we sat at a bench under the shade and the first thing Mina asked me was: "Hey, I was thinking about your fight yesterday, and I have a question, you haven't relaly talked to me about your quirk at all the whole time since I met you, what about this I give you a deal. You tell me about your quirk and I pay for everything today." "Alright deal, but are you sure that you have enough?" I asked. "I'm sure I have enough." She responded confidently.
Oh how wrong she is, I need energy to regain my chakra so I'm mighty hungry today muahahahahahah."Cmon just tell me your quirk, I promise I won't tell anyone." Mina said impatiently. "Alright, alright, so my quirk is chakra, it's a mysterious energy, I don't really know much about how it works (lie) but when I focus my energy in some sort of fasion, I can create all sorts of different things, it's a really versatile quirk. Want me to show you something, I touched her with my hand and released a bit of Kurama's chakra (I didn't bring her into the subconscious). Mina then froze, she never seen anything so 'vile'.
"This is what I felt from the villain I faced, don't worry about ever feeling this scared since I'm here to protect everyone especially you." I said. Mina then snapped back and after processing what I just said she blushed a bit, you gotta admit that was kinda smooth for someone like Naruto. 'I don't know why but he's so cute ahhh....' Mina thought while looking at Naruto's big smile. Sometimes you just gotta show off.
We decided to go to a cafe and get some food, on the way I said: "Remember the deal? Be ready since I'm mega hungry today, I won't go easy on your wallet." "Yeah yeah." She responded. I ordered a ton, 4 plates of food, 3 drinks, and 5 slices cakes to be exact, she was lucky that I didn't order more and when the food arrived, she asked me: "Naruto are you sure that you can finish all this, it seems like a lot."
*gulp*
"WHATTTTTT!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?" Mina said as she saw me suck all of it up like kirby and spat out all the bones and plates, the people beside me thought I had some eating quirk and everyone just stared at me and I told Mina: "Mina you are lucky since you are not my parents." She was still in shock as I burped out. In the end she paid with her card and she left the shop defeated as she sighed at me, I told her my energy needs replacing and I used a ton of energy talking to reporters yesterday, and that I used most of my chakra in staying energetic rather than fighting.
Then we went to play lazer tag, it was fun since you are allowed to use your quirk, but you are not allowed to attack other than using the lazer tag gun. It was fun since I used a bit of chakra to increase my speed and in the end we won. At our fourth location we decided to go ice skating, it was very hard to get the hang of iceskating but it was somewhat like controlling chakra, since you have to balance yourself. We were having fun racing each other but we didn't know it but time passed very quickly and we were about to get dinner.
As we were walking to the restarunt holding hands, people started whispering about our relationhip and Me and Mina didn't started blushing really hard but we kept walking not talking and acting like we don't care, I was about to faint from over embarrasement, I'm pretty sure Mina was about to fall over too since her walking became somewhat unbalanced. When we reached the restaurant we sat down and we were still not talking about the thing that just happened. I was feeling very dizzy, this is probably what deku felt when talking to girls.
After I barely ordered food I said to Mina: "Hey lets just not talk about that ok?" "Yeah sure..." Mina said then fainting. I then told Mina to stay awake and told her that the food is here. She quikly ate her food and it was turning night and I walked her to a mountain side park and it was quiet, it was peaceful. Nothing could beat this, the sun sank under the horizon and lights are starting to appear and at that moment I told Mina: "This sure is the best way to end the day huh?" She then replied: "Yea I agree, it's so peacful, the lights of the city are really beautiful." "I kinda wish peaceful days like this could last forever." I said. "W-Well I know where this is heading, so just say it already." Mina said looking down while holding my hand. I then knelt down and said: "Will you b-be my girlfriend?" Mina then said: "Y-yes" Then we hugged tightly not letting go of eachother.
