Chapter 2: Chapter 1

Rin and Itadori were young dumb and in love then about 3 years after they met Yuske was born. Fortunately for Yuske he was born when the war was almost over and grew up in a time of relative peace. Yuske grew up without a male role model to look up to and all the information he had about his father were based on stories told to him by his mother. When Yuske finally turned 10 years old his mother put him in one of the near by schools so Yuske would have what passed for formal education during that era. At this age Yuske was unusually aware of his surroundings and thought on a capacity that was way above that of an average child and most adults. Because of this Yuske passed all his classes with flying colors and his mom was Soo proud of him. Yuske would usually ask his mom where she got the money she used to pay his school fees and to which she would reply with a smile on her face and say "God has been providing and God will keep providing". When Yuske was around 10 his mother fell very sick and it came as a shock to Yuske the cause of the sickness. Apparently due to the aftereffects of the war most women were unable to get jobs and we're treated as mere objects so Rin decided to use this to her advantage and became a prostitute. Due to her beauty and age she had no problem whatsoever finding customers. When the word spread that Rin had STDs her regular source of income became non existent. Due to this Yuske had to drop out of school and grow up very fast in order to make ends meet for himself and his mom whose condition kept getting worce. A year later Rin became unable to do the simplest of tasks without much aid. As Rin`s Condition got worce her cost of care because more and more expensive to the point that Yuske would have to starve himself for weeks in order to buy his mother's medicine. When Rin saw how much suffering Yuske was going through just to keep her alive she went into a state of depression and decided one day when Yuske went out to another one of his odd jobs she would take her own life. Unfortunately for her she was physically incapable of taking her own life because she was too weak to even stand. When Yuske came back Rin revealed to him that she was planning on taking her own life but was unable to do it so she begged her own son to take her life but Yuske refused and began to sub bitterly. Because Yuske was unwilling to take her life she decided to reveal to him the truth. She started by summarizing the story of her child hood she explained to Yuske that the world was a cruel and unforgiving place and she had to learn that the hard way. She further explained that the moment she decided to accept and adapt to this cruel dark world was when her parents abandoned her at a very young age because they believed that she was useless to them in every possible way and when she met yuske`s father she thought everything would be different because she thought he really loved her but unfortunately when she got pregnant he immediately ran away to avoid responsibility. At that point Rin wanted to kill herself and the baby but was too scared to end it all. After Rin gave birth to Yuske instead of her to feel a rush of love and emotion towards this new life she created all she felt was hatred and disdain towards Yuske. She only took care of Yuske and sent him to school in order to save face in society but in the end she always planed that when he turned 13 or older she would sell him to slavery so that all the time, effort and energy she put into birthing and raising him wouldn't be a complete waste. When Yuske heard this he wanted to believe that it wasn't true but deep down even as a child he always believed that his mother was hiding something from him. With tears flowing down his check Yuske decided to fulfill his mother's final request by killing her. So he grabbed the pillow that was under her head and slowly covered her face with it but before her face was completely covered she said with what she assumed was her last breath "I never loved you". With this Yuske was frozen right in his tracks and decided that what he was about to do was far too merciful a so he decided to leave her to suffer a slow and painful death while Yuske looked for the nearest knife then knelt down next to his mother's bed and proceed to stab himself to death right infront of her while she watched unable to move and yearning desperately for death. As Yuske lied lifeless on the blood soaked floor Rin suffered a slow and painful death.
