Chapter 19: 19. An indirect kiss?
"We were just playing a game of tag~"
"What now?"
"Haha, it was boring you see-" Victor stopped talking when Gavin gave him a menacing glare, 𝒂𝒎 𝑰 𝒈𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒂 𝒅𝒊𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒘? It was normal for Gavin to be annoyed since he often worries about getting his office messy and the need to clean up afterwards.
"Hey, Gavin~"
"Why were you sitting on top of Victor and why were you running in my office? You should know the rules by now Vivian." Gavin asked as he looked up at Vivian and she looked down at him, pouting while furrowing her eyebrows.
"Well, Mr cabbage said he would give me sweets if I came back to school with him and I did what he said!"
'You went out of the school?"
"Mhmm hmm!" Vivian hummed in response, 𝒊𝒕'𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝑰'𝒎 𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒓𝒖𝒍𝒆 𝒃𝒚 𝒈𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍, Vivian thought before relaxing a little in Gavin's grasp.
"What were you doing out of school for?"
"Well I needed to settle some things outside of school that's why and I met him on the way to my destination and he decided to follow along, I don't know why." Vivian pointed at Victor who raised up his hands in a surrender pose before smiling.
"I swear I did nothing, I merely just followed her you know, making friends?"
"Probably a reason why you don't have much friends huh?" Gavin replied, making Victor stunned as he smiled. 𝑴𝒆? 𝑵𝒐 𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒔? 𝑾𝒉𝒐 𝒔𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝑰 𝒅𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒔 𝒉𝒖𝒉?
"Says the one who is feared by the whole school because of your attitude..."
"You wanna go?"
"Why not-"
"Oh you two shut up, I want my sweets~!" Vivian spoke up, stopping the brothers before they get into a fight but they turned their heads towards her with glares, making her shut herself up. 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏'𝒕 𝒌𝒊𝒅𝒔 𝒚𝒆𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒂𝒄𝒕 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒐𝒏𝒆...
"Now where were we? Right...bring it on, show me what you got."
"I would be delighted to dear Gavin." The two stared at each other as if getting ready to pounce onto each other and have a catfight. 𝑷𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒎𝒚𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇, 𝒅𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒘 𝒎𝒆 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚 𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒇𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒓 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝑰'𝒎 𝒂 𝒐𝒃𝒋𝒆𝒄𝒕.
Gavin was ready to put her back on her feet but Vivian mistook his action and hugged him tightly, preventing him from doing whatever he wanted to do.
"What are you doing?!"
"Don't throw me away! What if I have a concussion, huh, my skull and brain are precious okay." Vivian replied, speaking fast like a motor that was getting ready to drive off.
"Okay okay...now let go of my neck, I think before you even have your concussion, I'll get my neck snapped first." Vivian did as she was told and looked at Gavin.
"Did he say anything else apart from that?"
"Hmm, Victor did also say you will give me more sweets and a milkshake~ now let me down, I need my sweets." Gavin stared at Vivian then at Victor who was just smiling away, hoping that Gavin wouldn't throw him out of his office.
Vivian looked at Victor and tried reaching out to him so that she can go get the sweets that they agreed on way earlier back in the pet shop but Gavin kept her away from touching Victor and carried her like how parents carry their toddler in their arms.
"Hey, where are you taking me?"
"Stop talking, I'll get you the sweets instead."
"Really~?!" Vivian asked to confirm that Gavin would give her, the sweets that she wanted from him and he nodded. She smiled happily and hugged Gavin.
"Hey, what about me?"
"How old are you to be eating sweets?"
"I-" Victor stopped in his sentence as Gavin gave a smile which he knew wasn't a genuinely kind smile so he shut his mouth and nodded. Gavin took Vivian along with him back to his dorm to give her what she wanted.
"God, Gavin is totally into her..." Victor sighed and laid down on the couch for a rest. 𝑰'𝒎 𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏 𝒉𝒊𝒎 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒚𝒆𝒕 𝑰'𝒎 𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝒉𝒊𝒎...
While in the hallways, the noisy students suddenly went quiet when they saw Gavin carrying Vivian while walking. Students whispered amongst themselves about what they are seeing, it was unbelievable.
Being the cold and unapproachable second young master is now holding onto a girl student, walking down the hallway.
"What's that girl doing with Second young master?"
"He is not gonna punish her isn't he?"
"How brave of her to ask the second young master to carry her-"
"I'm sorry to burst your bubbles young ladies but stop talking nonsense and study harder instead huh?" Vivian smiled as she spoke up to the murmuring students, glaring at them.
She didn't want anyone to be gossiping bad things about Gavin nor her but Gavin didn't say a word and continued making his way to his dorm.
Once they were at Gavin's dorm, he set her down back on the floor on her two feet and went in. Vivian followed along like a puppy and took a look around his dorm. 𝑰𝒕 𝒊𝒔𝒏'𝒕 𝒕𝒐𝒐 𝒇𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒚, 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒎𝒔 𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒄𝒐𝒛𝒚. 𝑰 𝒘𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒇 𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒂 𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒆.
Gavin's dorm was like any normal dorm, it had a living room, kitchen, tables, chairs, two rooms, and practically everything. The room walls were colored in white with a black colored couch.
There was even a welcome matt on the floor seen as soon as you step into the room. 𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝒅𝒐𝒓𝒎 𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒚 𝒄𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒏, 𝒅𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒐 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒔 𝒉𝒊𝒎𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇?
"Here, you can have all of them." Vivian stopped her wandering around and turned around to see Gavin with two packets of random sweets in his hands.
He gave it to Vivian who looked at the sweets with shimmering eyes. 𝑾𝒐𝒘, 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝑮𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒏, 𝑰 𝒅𝒊𝒅𝒏'𝒕 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒉𝒆 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒆𝒂𝒕 𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒉𝒆𝒉𝒆~
"Thank you Gavin~!" She happily accepted the sweets, going over to his couch, and sat down. She opened up one packet and picked out a grape-flavored lollipop and opened it.
"Do you want one?"
"Just eat it." Gavin coldly replied as he minded his own business and went into his room, leaving Vivian in the living room by herself. 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒕'𝒔 𝒂 𝒑𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒐𝒆𝒔𝒏'𝒕 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒐𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒔. 𝑴𝒂𝒚𝒃𝒆 𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒄𝒂𝒏'𝒕 𝒂𝒔𝒌 𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒉𝒆 𝒈𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒊𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒎𝒆?
She placed the lollipop into her mouth and enjoyed her time. 𝑰 𝒘𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏 𝒉𝒊 𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒎? She thought as she placed the sweet packets onto the table, standing up, and walked over to the room that he went into.
She stood outside the door and without any thoughts or hesitation, she opened the door to see Gavin seating down by his study table, reading a book. 𝑾𝒐𝒂𝒉𝒉...𝒂𝒎 𝑰 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑰'𝒎 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒏𝒐𝒘?
Vivian rubbed her eyes and what she was seeing is real. Gavin was wearing spectacles while picking out a book, 𝒉𝒆 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒔 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒘𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎 𝒐𝒏, 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒈𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒂 𝒍𝒊𝒆.
Vivian went over to him, taking out her lollipop from her mouth, and tried peeking at what he was looking at.
Gavin felt a strange presence in his room and thus, he turned around to be shocked upon seeing Vivian right behind him.
"What are y-" he got cut off when she placed the lollipop into his mouth.
"What are you reading~?" She did not answer him and took his book, taking a look through it. He sat still, trying to process what she just did, 𝒔𝒉𝒆...𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒎𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝒂𝒏𝒅...
His cheeks flushed a little thinking about what was going through his mind.
"Hey, who allowed you to step into my room without knocking?"
"Huh? Oh, I needed to knock?"
"Don't you know your manners, Vivian?"
"Oh...haha, sorry~" Vivian apologized, smiling sheepishly at Gavin before turning her attention back to the book. 𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒏 𝒉𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚...
"Hey! I was reading it."
"This is my book and you took it without permission."
"What...I just want to take a look." She tried jumping to get the book back from him as he held it up high in the air. After many attempts, she gave up and sighed.
"Hmph, fine. You can continue reading, I'm not interested in history anyways." She pouted and was going to leave the room when Gavin pulled her back, making her stumbled on her feet and fell onto him.
Vivian fell onto Gavin who was on his chair and she stared at him weirdly. She had one of her legs up on his thigh as one of her hands held his shoulders for support.
"What do you need second young master." He didn't reply her as he took out the lollipop stick from his mouth and stared at her.
She felt weird and tried getting away from him but he wasn't planning on letting go. 𝑫𝒂𝒎𝒏, 𝒉𝒆'𝒔 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒈...
Gavin placed his index finger down, under Vivian's chin while having his thumb brushing against her lips.
"Open your mouth."
"What?-" She got interrupted when he leaned in, placing the lollipop back into her mouth. Their lips didn't touch but the lollipop did. When Gavin was done, he let her go as Vivian stayed still.
"Why did you do that?!"
"Out."
"What?" Vivian was beyond confused as to why he did that but knowing Gavin, she didn't question more and headed out of his room.
"Thanks for the sweets once again and rest well..." she said before closing the door behind her and to her surprise, Victor was sitting by the couch with a lollipop stick, sticking out of his mouth.
"Since when were you here? Are you his roommate?"
"Well not exactly but...come here." Victor signaled for Vivian to go over to him which she slowly did.
"What?"
"Is this how you speak to your friend?"
"We were friends?" Victor stared at her as he placed his hand at his chest area and pretended to be hurt by her words.
"You just stabbed my heart...how could you, we are friends of course."
"This is probably a reason why acting companies don't cast you for their movies..."
"What? Oh Ho Ho, don't you know how good I am at acting?"
"Yeah, acting terribly." Vivian crossed her arms, making Victor sigh in defeat. Then he thought of something.
"Then..." He pulled her in by her waist, making her sit by the couch weirdly on top of him. She had her knees seating down on the couch with his legs in between. 𝑵𝒐𝒕 𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏...
"What now. I need to get going back to the dorm."
"If you don't want to be friends then maybe we could be lovers~?"
"I'm better off with buying a cabbage off the market than have you, thank you."
"You..." Victor said and stopped when he took out his lollipop from his mouth and tapped it against Vivian's lips.
"What.are.you.doing?" Victor and Vivian turned to see Gavin standing by his doorway and stared at them.
"I was just about to-" Vivian stopped in her sentence as Gavin teleported in front of them and picked her up.
He got a hold of her and teleported her outside of his dorm with the packet of sweets in her hands. 𝑵𝒐𝒕 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒂 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅𝒃𝒚𝒆 𝒉𝒖𝒉...𝑰 𝒄𝒂𝒏'𝒕 𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒕𝒘𝒐 𝒄𝒂𝒃𝒃𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆.
Vivian sighed, shaking her head before making her way back to her dorm. 𝑨𝒕 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝑰 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒆 𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒔 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒎𝒆, 𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝑰 𝒘𝒐𝒏'𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒚 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒏𝒐𝒘~
