Chapter 16: Shocked

The car stopped in front of a three-star restaurant. When the driver opened the car door Paul got down from the car and was surprised when he saw the restaurant. As Alex mentioned earlier, he is going to a small restaurant but surprisingly this was one of the best places in Seoul.

They both walked towards a restaurant which was on the 10th floor. It was a spacious and classic look of the restaurant allowing its customers a relaxed ambiance, the food served here with a blend of traditional and modern dishes, Head chef has won the best chef award. The tables were arranged in such a way that they had partitions to each table.

Alex was walking along with Paul towards the table where already his grandpa was waiting.

Paul's heart was beating so fast and for a movement, he felt as if his heartbeat would drop. At last, he was going to meet his childhood friend. He was excited on one side and on the other side he was nervous that his friend would recognize him or not.

Kim Jong Chul was waiting for Alex to call him, then Alex entered with a smile and put his hand on grandpa's shoulder, sensing the hand on his shoulder grandpa turned his face and was happy to see Alex and was about to congratulate him then he was shocked to see Paul and stood still in a shock.

Paul went towards him and hugged him tightly "Jong, at last, I found you"

Jong Chul couldn't believe what was happening.

He tightly hugged him too. "I missed you a lot" he couldn't control his emotions and cried. Both were standing there hugging for a few seconds.

Alex, who was shocked and couldn't believe his eyes, thought that he was not dreaming but it was in reality that he was seeing chairman and his grandpa hugging each other and he understood that they were childhood besties.

Alex asked them to sit and talk then both sat beside each other.

Paul punched on his heart "I thought you won't recognize me but surprisingly you have recognized me instantly"

"How can I forget you? I am keeping track of you as it is easy because you are one of the richest men in South Korea. Finally, we have met again. I never thought we would meet again but how did you find me" Kim Jong Chul said with tears in his eyes.

"When you know about me, why don't you come to meet me? What did I do? you said that you would meet me and disappeared suddenly, you have never shown up. I have searched for you at all places, even till today my people are looking for you" he was a bit upset hearing that he kept track of him and not come to meet, Today When I got to know that you are Alex grandfather I have not wasted a minute to meet you, See I am in front of you" Paul explained everything.

"Grandpa, I was shocked to know that you both are best friends? I was confused when chairman sir tagged along with me. I wondered why he would accompany an employee for lunch? Although I didn't question him, it made me cautious. But now I understand why he did this but I still have many questions. Can you tell me the complete story of how you two know each other" he waited patiently and asked at last?

Paul and Jong were laughing, they were very emotional, Kim Jong Chul said "we were best friends from our school days, and were from the same neighborhood. we both came to Seoul together to fulfill our dreams.." he stopped, before saying, "It was a dream come true, I have never thought to meet paul so soon."
