Chapter 38: A Day With Mashiro
After a long and tiring journey to reach his family's house in Nara, Seiji, alongside Mashiro, could finally take a rest.
Why is it tiring?
Well, it's because Mashiro got duped by some scammer who took all of her luggage.
After making a call to his father and telling him what happened, Rentarou told him to be rest assured and just buy some clothes that Mashiro could wear before her luggage arrives. Seiji got even more tired when he had to deal with Mashiro and her antics while shopping.

At the airport, a few hours before Seiji and Mashiro arrived to Nara.
"Come to think of it, where is your luggage?"
"I… don't know?"
Mashiro just tilted her head in an innocent manner, making Seiji feel like a huge headache will be coming.
"So? Where did you lose it?"
"I didn't lose it. I gave it to someone who wanted to help…"
"Where is that someone who wanted to help, then?"
"Don't… know?"
At her answer, Seiji couldn't help but facepalm. While he is thinking of what to do, Mashiro started poking him on his cheeks
"What are you doing, Mashiro?"
"Poking you?"
"And why is that?"
"Nothing…"
"Ugh… You see here… I'm thinking of what to do with your missing luggage, okay? So, would you please stop distracting me for now?"
Even though Seiji asked politely, Mashiro still got a bit upset as she pursed her lips and refused to look at Seiji's direction.
"Idiot Seiji…"

Seiji just ignored the pouting Mashiro for a moment and concentrated in thinking of a way to solve the current problem. After a few seconds of thinking, his gaze landed on the phone in his hands.
It suddenly struck him that he could just call his parents since they have a lot of connections to many businessmen and government officials. They could solve this problem for him. They would just be wasting time if he tries to look for a needle in a haystack by themselves.
After the call, Seiji finally looked at Mashiro and saw her pouting while facing the opposite direction of where he is standing. This led him to sigh once again. This is probably the most number of sighs he did in a single day.
"You're upset, aren't you?"
"No…"
"Okay sure, I got the answer I needed just from your reply alone. Now, let's go buy some clothes that you will be wearing while dad is searching for your luggage."
Seiji knew that it require a lot of time before he could make a girl's mood turn for the better, something that he already knew from his interactions with his mom, Hanna, and Rena, so he decided to just drag her with him to a nearby mall. They're currently pressed for time since Seiji have school tomorrow so Seiji had no other choice but to hold the hand of Mashiro who is still upset and took her for some round of shopping.
Seiji picked out the clothes that he thought would suit her and made her change into those clothes. When he thinks that it looks really good on her, Seiji would suggest to Mashiro that she should take it.
Mashiro, upon hearing that it suits her, would just give a slight nod and pick the clothes without any hesitation.
While they are shopping for Mashiro's clothes, Seiji have to say that Mashiro is probably the best girl he accompanied in a shopping spree. She's not picky, whatever you pick for her that you think would suit her, she'd gladly take, she's not materialistic, and most important of all, she doesn't take too much time buying what she needs.
'Thank God she's not like mom and Rena in this aspect. If she is, even if I have unlimited stamina, I'll still grow mentally tired just going from place to place choosing something for her,' Seiji thought.
While he is thinking of such things, he suddenly felt someone tug on his clothes.
"Seiji. I want to buy manga drawing equipments…"
Since she never really asked for anything until right now, Seiji agreed to her request rather easily. He's in such a good mood right now, after all.
"Hmm? Of course, we'll go buy them. Do you need anything else? Maybe you'll need to try learning how to use a drawing pad or something? It is much easier to draw there these days, after all."
"Un… Let's buy that, please…"
"Of course of course, right away."
In a good mood, Seiji led Mashiro to the place where they could buy the things he mentioned. Due to their unusual features and appearance, the two of them who are currently holding hands attracted a lot of attention from the passersby.
"Hey, do you see that young couple over there? Don't they look nice together?"
"Totally. They look good together. I'm jealous."
While some discussed about how cute they look together and some stealthily wiped the tears of sadness forming at the corner of their eyes, three stooges also saw the two of them pass by. One of them is wearing glasses, the other is completely bald, while the last member of their group looks like a Saiyan with a stronger bloodline than Son Goku and Vegeta.
These three are Motohama, Matsuda, and Saruyama. The three of them just arrived here in Tokyo, thinking of buying the limited edition magazine that was released by one of their favorite gravure idols.
They were just about to go to 'that' shop after buying some new novels and mangas for their collection when they saw Seiji and Mashiro walk past them while holding hands.
"Matsuda! Are you seeing what I am seeing!? Isn't that the public enemy number one of our FFF Club, Arisugawa Seiji!?"
"I can see him Saruyama! He's also with a very beautiful girl that's not the athletic and strict looking Riko-senpai or the cute and pure looking Onodera-chan! God damn it! Why does he get all the beautiful girls!? Why!?"
"That girl seems to have western bloodline and she also have such an angelic appearance. She totally look like an angel sent by God to bless us forever single mortals."
"""DAMNIT! WHY ARE WE NOT AS HANDSOME AS HIM!"""
After their shopping, Seiji and the butler who's with him arranged these items inside the car in order. After they're done with that, they finally departed, heading for the City of Nara in the Nara Prefecture.
Inside the car, Seiji and Mashiro is sitting at the back. Mashiro and Seiji is sleeping soundly, with Mashiro resting her head on Seiji's shoulder.
The driver of the car who saw them like that when he looked at the mirror of the car couldn't help but grin from ear to ear.

"This will be the room that you will be using while you're staying here. It's quite near my room so you could just knock on my door if you need anything, okay?"
"Nn…"
Seiji is just about to leave when Mashiro suddenly called out to gim.
"Seiji…"
"Yes? Do you need anything?"
"Uun… Thank you for today…"
*[A/N: Un is affirmation while Uun is the opposite.]
Seiji smiled at Mashiro when he heard her say that. He certainly encountered a whole lot of trouble today but it's not like he minds it that much. He also had some fun today so it's not that bad.
"You're welcome. I also had a lot of fun today so I should also be thanking you for that."
"Nn… welcome."
"Alright. I'll go to sleep now. We'll just arrange your clothes tomorrow after school. Are you okay with waking up early after the flight?"
"It's fine… I can pull all-nighters without problems…"
"Haha… I'm not talking about that but… okay. If you say so. Good night."
"Un, good night."
