Chapter 4: Soul Suggestion Technique
Soul strengthening was not Ji Tian's biggest gain from this mysterious character. The thing that he really valued about this Character was the countless mysteries and profound meanings pertaining to soul contained in it, deepening his understanding of soul.
One has to know that the soul is one of the most mysterious and highest heavenly law, which is extremely difficult to comprehend.
He is also able to create various techniques related to soul while Comprehending the Soul Character. However due to his limited cultivation and understanding of soul, he is only able to create some superficial techniques.
Of course, even those "superficial" techniques are really helpful for his development, especially in early stages of cultivation. Ji Tian opened his eyes as he heard the sound of footsteps coming to a halt.

He said in a tone indicating him already expecting the arrival of this individual.
Soon, a young man came into view with a gentle smile and waving a hand fan in his hand. Who's brown eyes filled with arrogance, as If looking down on the rest of the world. Which gave his whole facial expression a contradicting feeling.
One instance he looks like a gentle scholar, the next he appears to be an arrogant young master.
"Young Master." The young man bowed respectfully.
"I am listening." Ji Tian said lightly.
Still bowing, the young man began to talk about all kinds of things, including major or minor events that happened outside, as well as inside the Ji family.
This was a gift arranged by Ji Shen of him. When he was six years old, Ji Shen sent him three people, one of them being the same age as him, and two Core Formation masters as close guards.
This young man is the one with the same age as him, Xu Ling who is also a mid level Foundation Establishment cultivator.
The more he knows about the world, the more Ji Tian can improve his plans for future. This is not a world where a weak person can run rampant.

After listening to Xu Ling's report as usual, Ji Tian waved his hand and sent him to continue his work, managing the affairs of Earth Manor.
He looked at Xu Ling as he retreated. He knew behind Xu Ling's gentle and arrogant demeanor was a scheming person who would do anything to achieve his goals. With his calculated personality and his top talent for cultivation, he was certainly a capable subordinate.
As for loyalty, Ji Tian was not worried about that, It was because one of the few techniques he comprehended from the mysterious character solved this worry of his.
Soul Suggestion Technique!
It's a technique with a very basic function, that is to continuously put hints and suggestions in the soul of a person weaker than you, which over time will strengthen that suggestion to an extent where that person can't defy it.
Even though it sounds wondrous, which it certainly is but it also has its limits. As the other person has to be a realm weaker than you at the beginning and you have to constantly use this for years to have it take some effect. But even with these limitations Ji Tian values this technique greatly, as it could help him train loyal tools.
This was precisely the technique he used on Xu Ling from when he was 6 to up until now. Instilling undying loyalty deep in his soul. This is why he is so comfortable with Xu Ling handling the Earth Manor.
After a while, he got up and walked out of the yard and headed for the backyard.
Ji Clan Central mountain was huge, it's the location where most of the core elders and their families live. It is also the place where thousands of people from the direct family line of the Ji Clan lived.
As long as the strength of a person reaches a certain level, even if it is a collateral family, three generations of that person can be promoted to a direct family, and they will be able to live in the central mountain, and their treatment will be improved a lot.
The rising sun cast a rosy hue across the morning sky. It shone through the trees, creating mysterious shadows.

Suddenly Ji Tian felt a slight cold wind passing by, he squinted his eyes knowing which uninvited guest had just arrived.
"I have seen, respected father,"
He said as he turned around to look behind, not surprised by the figure of an old man. Who's eyes were mysterious and foggy as ever.
Who else could it be beside the Grand Elder of Ji Clan, Ji Shen.
