Chapter 7: Chapter 7
Demonic pressure, it could stun and cause fear to those it affected and right now, Rico, Riker and Aleister's mom were affected by this pressure. As Aleister walked closer to Riker, Rico felt like this would be the end for him then he noticed something on the floor just right beside him, it was the card of Aleister badly beaten mother.
A few amount of card users could seize control of another's card. Naturally only the owner of a card could wield the power within but these few individuals proved otherwise. They were called the Usurpers and Rico was one.
Aleister moved closer to Riker and with a swing of his hand black energy burst out of his hand leaving different cuts on the body of Riker. He continued release black energy as he moved closer.
Rico finally had the card in his hands, he was able to break out from Aleister's demonic pressure but it took a huge toll on him as he was looking pale and extremely drained.
"usurper"
With a single word tides changed. Rico once again energy with his GEI and released it into the card, Aleister's mom was a lightning elemental and the normal energy that would have been absorbed by Rico after he activated the card was absorbed by Riker instead.
"Upgrade"
Rico said with a smile on his face and immediately Riker began to undergo changes.
The injuries on Riker began to close, he increased in size a little bit and the last change was a horn on it's head. Aleister's mom was on the floor with tears in her eyes, not only could she not protect her sons, now she had added to the troubles of one.
Energy began to gather at the top of Rikers newly acquired horn.
Boom
Lightning from the horn of Riker struck Aleister but he managed to get out of harms way as he was now used to his speed and body, he returned the strick with demonic blade,that was the name he thought of for the demonic energy he used to cut Riker. More lightning was released and Aleister started what looked like a dance as he dodge the attacks, he would safely dodge the lightning and occasionally strike with demonic blade. After a while of playing cat and mouse Aleister dodged yet another strike and charged head on at the giant wolf,he dashed to the left and avoided another lightning attack.
Voom
Aleister was no where to be seen,the speed at which he moved was beyond their understanding this was too much power for he demon who just had one horn, he appeared just above Rikers and with one more demonic blade Riker's head was rolling on the ground. The battle was finally over Riker's body disappeared and particles started flowing back to Rico's hand before forming two cards. He was now completely overtaken by fear, he didn't know what will happen to him now that Riker had been defeated.
"Get lost"
Those words from Aleister's mouth were strong enough to bring down the remaining pieces of their house, he carefully placed the elemental card on the floor and ran for his dear life, he was happy that he got out of there with his life, he was such this would be the last time he would come back, he was also sad that he lost a chance for Riker to grow. With that lightning card his strength would have increased, although he was a usurper he wasn't a full usurper. Full usurpers could merge their card with others and fully seize control of the other card, while usurpers like Rico could only maintain it for a while, and now he could have to wait for atleast a week if he's lucky before he would be able to summoner Riker again, although he was killed monsters don't really die when they are summoned to this world they just returned back to where they came from if they are killed.
Aleister morphed out of his demon state and ran straight for his mother's arm. They sat side by side in silence only their tears could be heard.
"So my son is a morpher, I knew you had it in you"
"Yes mom" Aleister said with tears in his eyes. He looked at his card for the first time after the fight and both him and his mother were shocked by what they saw.
Written on the black card was "Dark Morpher"
Aleister now remembered when Irikrit told he had an enormous dark energy and couldn't help but smile, that smile disappeared when he heard what is mother said next.
"Aleister"
"Yes mom"
"You must never show your dark power in front of anyone in this nation"
"huh?" Aleister looked confused he just got strong and now he was told to hold back his power.
"Just promise me you won't"
"I promise" Aleister reluctantly said.
"Good, now we have to clean up and look for a place to stay for a while since the house is almost destroyed"
Valmouth a great nation among the seven nations and land where you could rarely see a dark card users reason being that after the war that sperated the humans into seven nations, a small group of dark card users revolted against the ruler as of that time, a small group of five men were capable of inflicting huge damage to the nation, anywhere they went destruction followed, it took a lot of sacrifice to stop those involved in this rebellion and out of fear the ruler passed a decree that all that card users should be slain at birth, only a few managed to escape this law. Everyone knew about this but Aleister being the wielder of an empty card had payed less attention in class.
