Chapter 13: The Ruins
Flying in to the volcano i saw passage of lava mother took on our name day expeting to go ther i almost make a turn ther but Onyxia fly past me takeing to part of cave i have never seen before looking around i spot some movements in the shadows but it stay to far from me to be seen in any detail.
We flew for some time until Onyxia took a sudden dive down and landed next to passage in between Rock's and made her way inside following in behind her i land and stop at the entrance in front of me was an old hidden door well i call it a door size alone make it a gate but to adolt dragon it would be just right size for a door.
Seeing Onyxia walk in the door i follow in but give her a good big distance between us after all this whole place and event scream red flags i dont want to be in striking range of anyone right about now.
"What is this place?" might as well try to learn something about wher i am going.
But as we make our way in deeper the only answer i am given is cold dead silence, so insted i start to look around hoping i can recall something about place like this from the lore. The walls around me were golden, like fresh gold, but tainted with a darker red streak every so often sandstone perhaps. There were plenty of caves in the sides of the volcano that hade same thing in them if they went deep enough.
But from time to time ther was a part of the wall that looked to be made with tools rather then magic or nature it was stone like structure mixed in with some steel and ominous looking runes carved in them the deeper we gotten in to this passage the more of the runes looked fresh and smell of blood and something else that i never smelled started to taint the air.
We have traveled long and the passage started to have lot's of turns and light started to be more of a privilege this was no game cave with conveniently placed torches but a labirint that Onyxia seems to somehow know like the back of her claws i on the other hand was using earth magic to make my self pointers and marks to the way back.
As we make our way around the passage comes to an end Onyxia comes to a stop in front of a 4m tall door on sides of the door ther are two Drakonid guards waiting with ther spears pointed to the sky as i come in close Onyxia turn around and speaks to me for the first time since start of this journey
"This is wher you are expected mother and rest will see you when you are done hir" with this words i watched Onyxia make her way back in to the darkness of the passage leaving me with the two Drakonid's,
hearing a "Kreeec" from the door i turn back around and watch the guards open the door "get in" was all they said as i reluctantly made my way inside, somehow the room was even darker then the passage as i made my way inside i hade to make may way slow not to trip over my own legs
having made my way deep in to the darkness i hear clangin as something hit the floor behind me Danger Sense warning me of incoming threat got me to turn around but at the same time light exploded in the room blinding me temporarily, as my vision starts to clear out i feel a strike connect with my chest and send me flying back deeper in to the room.
as my fall comes to an end i feel rise in the magic around me spreading my wings i to try fly away from danger only to feel magic take form of chains and pin me to the floor, sight returning to me i see now my attackers the two drakonids from before start to turn in to ther true form's.
as they turn ther form i crane my neck to look at my self i see and feel 6 chains 2 holding wings to ground 2 on my back 1 on the tail and 1 on base of my neck turning back i watch last of scale's fall of ther owners showing two massess of tentacles that start to take on a humanoid form's from under them smell of blood rot and what i now know to be facless ones taint the air around them.
"See brother and you have feared this one would be a problem he was even easier to bind then his Sister she at least clawed at you when you kicked her!" Voice of the Facless one came all around me rather the from him and it was loud and painfull to hear both the ears and mind that heard it it was like ant got to your skull and bite anything it could find.
"Yes seeing it now i dont understand why master even wanted this year broods and the other odd welp's corrupted away from the rest so badly other then his size it's just another slow minded beast" as they spoke they started to move to sides of me as i start trashing in my binding to free my self only for chains to react and pin me harder plastering me to the floor in a way that only left me growling at the two.
"Now Beast you will be made in to an obedient slave just like the rest of your kind!" the two surge void magic in to me bracing my mind i try a typ of mental defence that always work's in the games and books building a fortress in my mind and closing the gate.

yeaaa as if that helped as my mind gets blasted apart that fortress was more like sand castle in front of a tornado the only think that filled my mind after the blast was the laughter of the facless ones at my attempts to hold them back and pain so much PAIN.

As i feel another wave of void magic take form in my mind i desperately look for a way out of my binds but do to pain my vision is blur i see some runes that have chains coming out of them as i try to reach them i find that my body obeys me less and less with each moment.

the sounds of laughter become distant the pain lessen maybe it is not so bad.

why do i fight it? i am black dragon after all we are made for this and when this is all over i will play with my brood once again ther will be no PAIN.

I will not have to FEAR anything no plans needed to stay save master have a plan that will CLEANSE the world of THREATS i just need to OBEY.

the binding straine under my sudden trashing facless one call out once again

i feel anger of the facless ones as i start to push them out of my mind only to see them start charging massive blast of void energy as i start to panic i try one last look for something to help me get out only to spot familiar movement in the shadows the Facless ones most have seen it two as they turned around as one in an instant but for one of them it was an instant to late.
A blur of red rush the facless one by my left Slashing at it's head taking good chunk out of it sending the facless one falling to ground dead or knockout did not matter what did matter to me was that the void energy in the falling one's hand hit my bindings i felt them break on my back.
[VOID CORRUPTION INTERRUPTED!]
the blur of red rushed to the next target as i started to pick my self up in one last push i feel last of three chain's give way and break off the pain gone and body free i turn to my tormentor and savior red flight drake was rushing hopeing to close distance between him and facless one before he strikes but red drake hade no such luck blast of void magic smashed in to red seending him flying in to the wall.
Facless ones victory was short lived as he looked at me ready to blast him with full charged lava breath he atempted to dodge only to smack in to a newly formed wall courtesy of earth magic leaving him fully open for a blast before he could raise any defence looking wide eyed he screamed out his last and fall as awfully smelling meat pile.
"who's an obedient slave now"
turning around i rush to the red drake getting close i can see he is still alive but he has seen better days his chest have been descaled flesh is out for all to see his left paw is broken in at least three places and some of his face looks to have eaten that blast two as i see two stomps on top of his head that once most have been horns,red ones eye's open and close a few times but even as i stand in front of him he seems to be to delirious to notice me.
"Come on buddy this is not the time to have a nap" picking him up and puting his stomach around my back and wings i start to drag him out with me back to the passage as i carry him i can feel his blood flow down my sides i really wish part of my training have included draconic first aid right about now, but ther is a way Nefarians lab he most have some healing potions at the ready.
"We just need to get ther that will be easy dont you think?"
