Chapter 16: Special Tempest Visit
[A/N: I'll make the start of the classes one year ahead. Means 6 years old. Uchiha's Massacre will be next year after that. Please read the important note below.]
Rimuru P.O.V
"Summer! Summer!" I heard the two shouted behind me.
We are currently having our second and last summer vacation for two weeks. It is done every year but the bad thing for them is next month is the start of the academy.
Means, more classes and no more breaks. When they heard that news, the two started to say sorry for making their schedule long and they want it to be back in normal. But I already have told them that I'll not do anything about that.
Then they tried to ask Diablo in my stead but Diablo said that he needs my permission to allow their request so it back to square one.
In return for declining their request, I make their last paradise longer and instead of two weeks, I made it three weeks.
"Sigh. If I only know that there are so many complicated things there then I'll make it lesser." Naruto complained of himself as I just laughed at him.
"I told you, didn't I? That's what you get for being careless." I said as he looked defeated.
"I know..." He said as I just smile.
The two improved so much in just a year. Naruto started to act independently now but have still his mischievousness behind that makes him act stupid sometimes. Though he is always so serious when it comes to fights and a real serious discussion. He also stopped saying 'you know' in every sentence he spoke.
Mina also developed her weakness that is physical strength now. She also became carefree with us now. She always looks like murdering someone before. She's still a little Tsundere though.
"But where do you want to go now, though? Three days left after-" Before I finished, the two covered my mouth with their hands and sighed.
"Don't remind us that..."
"You will go too, you know?"
"Yes. I am." I said as the two looked at me in concern.
"How can you be so calm? Don't you hate having children around you?" Mina asked as I bumped their head softly.
"You are children too. Didn't you said you want to be a Hokage?" I asked Naruto as he shook his head.
"No! I'll become the first 'Demon Lord' in this world! Then I'll finally defeat you with Mina!" He shouted with determination.
I probably haven't mentioned it, but they don't know anything about me being a demon lord or something. They don't need to know about that.
"Wow. What a nice dream it will be." I teased.
"What?! You said you are much weaker than that?" He asked as I tsked three times.
"It's called experience, baby," I said as he suddenly paused.
"Let's go, you two. Quit flirting." I heard Mina said as I just nodded.
'It is what they called puberty?'
[Where did master become oblivious?]
'Don't tell me... Mina likes me?! Ah! It's hard to be popular sometimes. Hahahha!'
[Sigh.]
"So? Do you want to spend your remaining days here?" I asked as the two walked with me.
"Don't say like we're going to die. We still have three days so we can't think about it." Mina said as Naruto nodded.
"Summer, huh? What about we prank the whole village?" Naruto suggested as Mina and I immediately rejected it.
"Do you know how much trouble Diablo has gone through when you did that?"
"Sensei looks like a ghost after that, you know?" He said as all of us laugh at that scene.
I'd like them to experience the summer festival of Tempest but I'm not there right now. I can't just do oblivious things here like doing something not possible to do.
Wait... Tempest?
[It is possible. Just ask Diablo.]
'Yes! How many years have I been there?'
[1,492 years for master and 2 years for them.]
'Oh! I wonder what they are doing now?'
"Guys," I called as they both looked at me.
"You do know what Tempest is right?" I asked as they nodded.
"Isn't that your country?" He asked.
"Yes. That's why I want you to visit there." I said.
"What?!"
"Can we?!"
"I want to go there!"
"Then I'll ask Diablo."
Some Time Later
"Gladly! But... Will you reveal yourself to them?" He asked as I shook my head.
"We'll just visit there. There's no need." I said as he beamed.
After we have packed our little bags, Diablo then flicked his finger and we appeared in a forest.
Diablo is not here but he probably didn't want to go.
"Wow! Is that the Tempest?" Naruto asked as he pointed at a village that is so lively.
The city improved so much but it is still looked the same when I left it. I left this village in the hands of my Twelve Patrons that is Headed by Diablo.
But as he is not here, I wonder who is the one in charge now.
After some time, the three of us went inside the village. Some people I know were there but they didn't notice me as I'm covered with a clock.
As we went inside, we immediately saw my slime form's statue. Not just statues, some signs also looked like me.
And on the left side of the city, we saw my human form's statue. These guys are really...
'Don't treat me like a dead hero!'
"Woah! Look, Naruto, it's Rimuru!" Mina shouted and as if it was a cue, the other looked at her.
"That's right! It's Rimuru-Sama!" I shouted but they still looked at her.
"Don't use honorifics on yourself." The two said in a monotone voice like they didn't notice the stares of the others.
"Young lady, what did you said again?" I heard an ask and It is... fortunately and unfortunately Gobta.
"It's Rimuru?" She asked as he shakes his head.
"The first one."
"Hey,... Naruto...?" She slowly asks as Gobta began to teared up.
'Eh?'
"I remember Rimuru-Sama mentioned that name before. It is nostalgic... I wonder when he will come back again." He said as he began to walk away.
"Oh. Mentioned huh?" Mina said as I looked at her with a frightened face.
"It's just someone I know. I adopt you cause you remembered me of him." I said.
"But why did he say 'he'? Aren't you a girl?" Naruto asks as I walk away.
"Think as you want. We don't have infinite time." I said as the three of us started to visit many stores and places here.
"This is the last stop," I said as we headed in the main of the plaza.
Unlike the other places, this place is the most peaceful and beautiful for me. Special and bad things happened here but we are still here to look at those memories.
"Refrain to mention my name here as most of them are here." I said as I looked at them.
"Who are you calling them, Rimuru-Sama?" I heard a voice as I slowly looked at my back.
"T-Testarossa." I stutter as she just smiled.
"Rimuru-sama is so mean. He didn't even greet his most beloved servant."
"Who are you calling beloved? It's me!"
"Carrera... Ultima..."
Then the others also appeared in front of me. The Twelve or should I say Ten Patrons are now in front of me.
"Why didn't you called us first?" Shion asked as I tried to explain things.
"Wow. Rimuru-Sama became younger." I heard Gobta said as I glared at him.
"Yes. He's the one who told us about you. We also have felt it so there's no need to be hard on him." Benimaru said as I just sighed.
Diablo won't really like this.
"By the way, who are those two with you, Rimuru-Sama? Is that your new servants?" Carrera asked as I shook my head.
"They are-"
"Naruto Tempest. Nice to meet you."
"Minami Tempest. I'm glad that we have finally met you."
The two introduced themselves as all of them looked at me in shock.
"R-R-Rimuru-Sama. Could they be... Rimuru-Sama's secret love child?!" Ranga exaggerate as I tried to stop it before the others react but it's too late.
"How! I thought you love me, Rimuru-Sama!"
"Impossible."
"I'm still in hell, right?"
All of them started their own drama.
"Here you go." Shuna said as all of us sit at a long table.
All of them seems to calm now so I started to speak again.
"So, these are my new siblings or sworn siblings. They are half-human but they are good people. We visit here cause after this day, they will become much busier." I said as they nodded.
"But that doesn't mean..." Shion wants to argue but she stopped herself.
"Then... Who is in charge here?" I ask.
"As Diablo is not here, Adalman was now in charge here with the help of Benimaru." Shion reported as I nodded.
"It seems like you two are tired now. Shuna. Can you guide them in a room to rest?" I requested.
"Yes. Then, Naruto-sama, Minami-sama, please follow me." She said as they both say goodbye to me.
"Rimuru-Sama, what are you really planning to do with them?" Testarossa asked.
"Hm? What do you think?" I asked.
"There's no way Rimuru-Sama will make some mere humans his own siblings without any reason behind." Carrera said as I smiled.
"Well, I'm most likely inside a game that was being controlled by someone." I said.
"What is master mean?" Ranga asked.
"Don't worry about them. Is there any problem?" I asked.
"They are humans, you know? Humans are all dumb." Kumara said while pouting.
"Don't worry. They won't be anymore. Sooner." I said.
After that short meeting ended, all of them return to what they are doing. I asked them not to mention me so there will be a big event today.
Naruto and Mina also waked up and used our remaining time to do what we didn't earlier freely.
And the time has come.
"Visit us again, Rimuru-sama." Shuna calmly said as I smiled at her.
She is the only one here as I already have said goodbye to others as they still have their own responsibilities to do.
"Alright. We'll go now!" I said as I ripped the seal that Diablo made and we reappeared inside the house.
"That was fun!" Naruto happily shouted.
"Right? All of them are caring especially Shuna-san."
"I liked all of the foods there! There's also no one glaring at us. Although most of them seem to love Rimuru, I have negative feelings for them. Especially that Kumara girl." He said as they started to talk again.
"It's beautiful, right? Though we won't be able to visit them anytime soon as... Tomorrow is the-" They put their hands on my mouth again while they glared at me.
"We told you not to mention that!"
And that's how our Last Summer Break ended.

Minami: By the way, are you really a boy?
Naruto: No way! Impossible! Right??
Rimuru: Why are you so overwork to that?
Ciel: Sigh.
Naruto: She is not a trap!
Minami: Don't care.
Rimuru: Think whatever you want.
Naruto: Hey!!! What is that supposed to mean?!
In the end, they never found anything about Rimuru's gender.
Diablo: Wait. Didn't I already told them that slime's doesn't have any gender??
