Chapter 49: The Beauty He Owns
Jane furrows her eyebrows in great surprise.
"What's procreate?"
"To make children"
"Children? How does it feel like?"
"It feels good actually, specially for a lady"
Jane says nothing but blinks twice. So...
Making children is something that feels good? How and why is making children feeling good?
Her mind keeps racing and like she's defeating the spirit that was growing rapidly in her, because of what James just said.
"So, how do I do that?" Jane asks and Marisiana smiles. But before she says anything, the same whisper of the Creator is heard by her.
"It is too early"
Marisiana smile drowns like someone shot her. Is the creator serious? Like, for real?
Seeing her starting to think about it made Marisiana bite her lip nervously.
"And... Umm... The main reason why James doesn't want to tell you this is because he's... He's waiting for the right time.
Raven is gravely, confused. So there's is a right time to procreate and a time to not? What the...
"So, how do I... "
"Darling, it's time to head up... "
Mr Von stops talking when his eyes meet the two women seated and discussing.
"I guess I am interrupting your session?"
"Y-... "
"No" Jane objects when she heard the 'Y' of the 'Yes' Mrs Von wants to say.
"It's totally fine"
Jane smiles at Mrs Von and then gave her a signal to go wherever her husband wants her to go.
"We'll talk later"
The two women waves at each other like they're teenage girls of nineteen years old.
Jane stares at the couple and how Mr Von wraps his arm around his wife and his other hand is dug into his pocket as they walk on and out of the garden.
Raven felt her blood grow extremely hot in some kind of emotion that she don't have a real and certain description.
Is this jealousy? Is this how people get jealous?
'I thought that only men get jealous'
Jane raises her left wrist closed to her eyes to know what the time is and realizes that it's 11:50 am.
He still hasn't told her where they are going to, yet. What type of surprise is this that makes so much curiosity rise in her like a tower that is ongoing but it is the highest tower ever?!
"Well, I never made any promise to take you out somewhere. Probably that's the reason I'm in and out on you" she whispers in a tiny voice.
Her pain is totally clear. She doesn't know why his flirty nature is making her give in to his handsome nature.
She wonders why she's being such a dick!
Most times, she wonders why her body keeps malfunctioning when she's with him. She feels like doing something... Private things, with him.
She feels like the lost part of her, the memory that she thinks she lost over an accident or something, is in him. She feels like it is in him with no thinking about that part.
Before she starts to think again, she slips her hand into her pocket and brings out her phone. She starts to type on the Google tab when the app opened up - "How To Procreate".
So many tabs come up and her eyes search for the one with a suitable and eye-catching logo.
She starts to watch the video it redirects her to and then, her eyes pop out of their socket the moment her eyes meet with the opening session of the video.
She quickly dims the screen of her phone and started panting like she was under attack a moment ago.
"God, what was-"
"Are you okay?"
Raven would have jumped out of the skin of Jane if she had the opportunity to, though.
"I-I am. Why'd you ask?"
The face of James shows brightly under the morning sun, with his jeans and a white T-shirt. He got two green baseball caps in his hand and a T-shirt, similar to his.
"You were talking to yourself ever since Mrs Von left, are you okay?"
He's. Been. Standing. There. All. ALONG!!!
Did he see her search on how to Procreate?
No! He can't have possibly seen that!
The distance between the bench she just stood up from, and where he is standing is a great one. No doubt about that one.
"Yes... *Clears throat*. Totally fine"
Kancial stares at the stiff Angel in the body of Jane, and it seems like she's hiding something. Something suspicious.
Her hand and phone are held behind her back and the smile on her face is kinda awkward. Literally.
He narrows his eyes at her and then a bright idea sparks up in his mind.
At night. When she's asleep, he'll sneak up on her and take her phone. Once he does, he'll check everything on that phone, including her photos.
Let's see if she has ever taken one before.
"It's three minutes remaining. Get these on and meet me in the garage. I'll be with the driver"
He holds his hand out and Jane, with a very deep sigh released, walks up to him and takes the shirt from his hand and the baseball cap.
And before she even opens her mouth to thank him, he turns and walks away from the garden, and from her. Raven starts to ask herself what the heck she did that is making him act like this all of a sudden.
He was so flirty and desiring this earlier in the morning. But now, he acts like there is an offense she committed that is unforgivable.
Jane sighs and walks back into the house and into their room.
She can't believe all those happened in a blink of an eye.
She quickly got the shirt on with a pair of tight jeans, that show the curvy, and beautiful legs she has. She then walks to the mirror in the room and slowly places the baseball cap on her head.
Staring at herself in the mirror, she starts to realize why James had chosen to marry her. She can't help but admire herself so much in the mirror.
And also can't help but wonder why he acted the way he did when he knows the beauty he owns.
