Chapter 10: Is that a raft?
Author Note: I just wanna point out that all the things that are happening like Kenshin not learning "hardening" or the sudden appearance of a Fiancee, these cases aren't things that I did just because I want some "Content" each case has their own backstory. If you check the tags of my novel I specifically added a "backstory" tag because most of my story will be based on their backstory, remember that Kenshin is now 20 years old so there are a lot of things that have happened and many people he has met in the past.

Groove 53, Saboady Archipelago
Ships of different sizes could be seen everywhere, a small caravel just so happened to arrive at the port where other huge ships were currently docked.
Kenshin who was standing at the front of the deck looked at the huge ships around him while rubbing his chin.
Seeing this familiar scene Jack tapped Kenshin's shoulder to get his attention and said, "Don't try anything funny, the pirates here aren't like those we met in the past. all pirates could reach here are elites of the grandline so stay out of trouble as much as possible."
Kenshin nodded his head in understanding, he wasn't a troublemaker he just wanted to upgrade their ship so that they will have more space to train and it will be a lot more comfortable.
"Oi, what kind of ship is that? is that a raft?"
Out of the blue, a voice could be heard coming from a brig sloop ship.
Kenshin turned his head towards the brig sloop ship and saw a pirate with a captain's hat on his head.
"Hello there, this isn't a raft but a caravel ship. it may be small but it is already enough for our small crew to operate." Kenshin replied with a smile on his face, but Jack who was standing beside him couldn't help but look at his companion weirdly.
'When did this guy became kind?' Jack thought.
Hearing Kenshin's explanation the pirate captain laughed and said, "A caravel is like a raft in my eyes so don't bother finding an excuse for having such a lousy ship."
Kenshin's mouth twitched hearing the pirate ridiculing his ship and continued to have a smile on his face, he took a deep breath and replied, "It isn't an excuse but this is the only ship that is suitable for me right now seeing that I only have a small crew."
After Kenshin finished speaking a red glint flashed his eyes as he suddenly jumped towards the opposite ship landing in front of the pirate captain.
"But since you kept on ridiculing my small ship how about you give me yours along with your crew?" Kenshin said with a smiling face.
The pirate captain who was caught off guard at Kenshin's sudden action took a step back and pointed his gun at Kenshin's face, "Don't try anything funny kid, or else I'll blow your head off with my gun, hahaha."
Jack who saw this scene just sighed at the pirate's misfortune and said to the crewmembers "Go and arrange our things, we will transfer everything we have on that ship."
Feeling the cold muzzle on his forehead the smile on Kenshin's face faded, he stared at the pirate and asked, "Will you give me your ship or not?"
Hearing Kenshin's question the pirate captain didn't hesitate and directly pulled on the trigger shooting Kenshin right in the head.
*Bang!*
"Ah! my hand!"
As the sound of the gun reverberated at the deck of the ship it was soon followed by the sound of the pirate captain's pitiful voice as he held on his chopped-off hands.
"What did you do?!" The captain asked in confusion, everything happen so fast that he didn't even know how his hands got chopped, he then looked at Kenshin and saw his sword unsheathed.
Kenshin swiped his sword and all the bloodstains flew towards the captain's face, he then slowly approached the kneeling captain and said as he placed his sword on the captain's neck.
"Thank you for the ship, your generosity won't be forgotten so rest in peace."
*Swish!* *Plop!*
A headless pirate captain plopped on the deck of the ship as his head flew high up making his crewmembers who were watching the fight tremble in fear.
As Kenshin sheathed his sword he glanced at the crewmembers and asked, "Are you willing to work under me? or do you want to have the same fate as your captain?"
The crew members didn't even hesitate and they all bowed their heads at Kenshin.
Jack along with the 5 crewmembers saw all of this happened felt nostalgic and could only look at each other with a helpless look on their face.
Seeing Jack arrive Kenshin pointed at the ship and said, "I will be staying on the caravel ship for the time being and continue training while you will handle all the things needed for our travel towards Fishman island."
After finishing giving his instructions Kenshin leap back to the caravel and entered his cabin to continue his ryou training.
