Chapter 33: The fight of the century
As expected Kenshin didn't even have the chance to enjoy his vacation after plundering pirates for the past year.
Fishman District, Sea Park
Kenshin was currently with Shirahoshi and the 3 prince's as they enjoyed the different kinds of rides in the sea park.
Arlong who hated Kenshin in the past because of him being a human already accepted the fact that he was one of them and the two could already be considered good friends.
He then approached Kenshin who was buying ice cream for the kids and said in a low but grave voice, "They are finally here."
Turning his head at Arlong, Kenshin nodded his head as he said to the kids, "Guys, something came up and I need to go, Arlong will escort you back to the palace okay?"
Shirahoshi who had already grown attached to Kenshin asked, "Where are you going, Mister Kenshin?"
Ruffling Shirahoshi's hair, Kenshin replied, "I'm just meeting a few companions,"
He then signalled Arlong to take the children as he jumped on top of the manta ray that was on stand by outside the sea park and made his way towards the front entrance.
Arriving at the front entrance he was greeted by Fisher Tiger and Jinbe who were the only ones there.
"We already evacuated all the citizens that are near here," Jinbe said with a serious look on his face clearly nervous.
"Kenshin, we will stay here and help you," Fisher Tiger said staring at Kenshin intently.
Patting their shoulders as he passed by between them Kenshin said, "Stop trying to act tough, go back and make sure that everyone is safe and guard Otohime heavily, you don't know what's going on inside that Queen's head."
Fisher Tiger clenched his fist not wanting to listen but Jinbe grabbed his arm and shook his head as he pulled Fisher Tiger on top of a whale shark as they left the place.
Seeing the whale shark leave Kenshin took a deep breath and sat cross-legged on the ground as he waited for his guests to arrive.
An hour passed by, the citizens of Fishman Island felt the tension coming from the guards as all of them kept staring in the direction where the front entrance was located.
Neptune who was with Otohime both focused their attention on Kenshin's location holding their hands together as they prayed for Kenshin's safety.
Fishman Island, Front Entrance
"Ohh... I didn't expect that someone to greet us upon our arrival." An incredibly tall, relatively slim man wearing a yellow striped suit said as he landed in front of Kenshin.
"His build is the same as described by Saint Mjosgard, I think that he is the blind swordsman that attacked the world noble." The CP-0 agent said as he studied Kenshin.
Kenshin who was in the midst of his meditation opened his eyes and stared at Kizaru who had his hands in his pocket as he casually stood in front of Kenshin.
"Are you here to kill me or to capture me?" Kenshin asked as he slowly stood up.
The CP-0 agent took out a piece of paper and said, "We were ordered by the world noble to capture you alive, so give up and don't try to resist."
"Is that so? you haven't even asked for my name how rude of you." Kenshin replied and unsheathed his sword.
"How about we exchange a few moves then see if you are capable enough to capture me alive,"
*Swoosh!*
As Kenshin finished his speech he suddenly dashed towards the CP-0 slashing his swords sidewards.
*Ting!*
Kizaru who was in front of Kenshin also made his move seeing Kenshin attacking as he blocked Kenshin's sword with his light sword.
"Well, well, well, what an impatient guy," Kizaru said as he pushed Kenshin's sword back.
Being pushed back Kenshin turned his attention towards Kizaru, "2 vs 1 huh, and here I thought that you would just stand there and watch the show Mr. Admiral."
Spreading his hands Kizaru replied, "I just want to get this done as soon as possible and go back to my office and rest."
"Is that so? then we should stop with the introduction and proceed to the main course." Kenshin then clad his sword with armament haki as he proceeds to attack Kizaru.
Seeing Kenshin imbuing his sword with haki Kizaru also imbued his sword, "Well, aren't you a scary swordsman."
Kenshin smirked as he jumped and swung his sword downward while Kizaru held his sword horizontally with both of his hands and tried to parry the attack.
As the two swords were about to make contact a black-purple aura surrounded Kenshin's sword as he swung his sword downward with full force breaking Kizaru's light sword.
"Uh-oh," When Kizaru saw the black-purple aura coming from Kenshin's sword he already expected his light sword to break so immediately stepped back as soon as his sword broke.
*Bang!*
When Kizaru disappeared in front of Kenshin, his attack broke the ground sending rocks flying everywhere.
"You're not some unknown swordsman are you, tell me your name," Kizaru asked with a curious look on his face, he didn't expect Kenshin to know advance usage of armament haki and was almost injured because of his carelessness.
Resting his sword on his shoulder Kenshin replied, "My name is Kenshin a wandering swordsman who likes to make friends wherever he goes."
