Chapter 59: KENSHIN!!!!
Entering the room, King Riku was surprised to hear the topic they were currently discussing and faked a cough letting them know of his arrival.
"Goodmorning, Father!" Viola who heard a cough behind her turned around and greeted her father happily.
King Riku nodded his head in response as he took his seat, he then glanced at Kenshin and said, "Kenshin, after discussing with my advisers last night we decided to ally ourselves with you."
Kenshin raised an eyebrow hearing this and asked, "Are you sure that you are prepared to face against the world government and potentially one of the emperors?"
"We have already decided so you should stop testing my will." King Riku said with a sigh clearly annoyed at Kenshin who kept on reminding him of the powers they will potentially face in the future.
Kenshin laughed seeing King Riku's annoyed face and said, "Seeing that you have finally decided I will tell you my plans on how to make your country a fearsome kingdom that even the world government will think twice if they are planning on attacking you."
"Oh?" King Riku reacted clearly interested in Kenshin's plan.
Kenshin then played with a coin and started explaining, "I noticed that your soldiers don't know how to use haki, the only exception to this is Kyros who has little knowledge about it and I have no idea how he managed to learn it."
"I am planning on teaching Kyros and a selected few of your commanders everything I know about armament and observation haki."
King Riku kept on nodding his head, "I know a thing or two about haki but we are not fortunate enough to have the chance to learn it."
Kenshin then pointed towards Jinbe and said, "This is Jinbe and he is a Fishman that is from Fishman Island which is already one of my allies, I am planning on mastering my spatial portal and bring a few fishmen on this country."
Looking at Jinbe, King Riku thought for a moment and said, "I have no objection in accepting them into my country, we have a tribe here called Tontatta and they are little humans with superhuman strength."
"Little humans with superhuman strength huh, are they capable of fighting?" Kenshin asked.
King Riku nodded his head and explained, "They are strong but they chose to live in peace and are currently staying in green bit which is located on an island that is connected with Dressrosa."
"Wanting to live in peace is not a problem but I would like to meet them and let them join our alliance, they can't possibly live in peace without sufficient strength backing them up," Kenshin said, not believing that you could live peacefully if you don't have sufficient strength to defend your kingdom.
"I understand, I will send someone to inform them later."
While King Riku and Kenshin were discussing Kyros entered the room silently as to not cause a disturbance and sat beside his wife Scarlett.
But Kenshin who saw Kyros entered turned his attention towards the newcomer and said, "Kyors, tell me how you learned armament haki."
Kyros who had just sat down stood up again and said, "I accidentally learned it when I was training, my sword suddenly turned black and from then on I started practicing it every day."
"Only hardening huh," Kenshin murmured to himself.
He then looked at Kyros and said while pointing at Jinbe, "Jinbe will teach you how to further strengthen your armament haki while I will teach you how to use observation haki."
Bowing his head, Kyros replied, "Thank you so much!"
Waving his head, Kenshin then said, "I want you to be the first one to master both armament and observation haki so that you can teach them to the soldiers of the kingdom."
"I understand, I will do my best to master them as soon as possible."
Satisfied, Kenshin smiled and was about to speak again when Scarlett stood up.
"Father, all of this sounds great but we don't have sufficient funds if we will bring more people into our country."
Kenshin and King Riku both became silent as they haven't even thought of the problem regarding their funds.
"What Scarlett said is true, if we don't have sufficient funds it will be problematic if we bring more people inside the country." King Riku said as he started thinking of a possible solution to this problem.
"If you are worried about money then we can just easily capture an infamous pirate with a huge bounty while you send them to the marines and collect their bounty," Kenshin said not really worried about money.
King Riku, Scarlett, and Kyros all had dumbfounded looks on their faces as they heard Kenshin's solution to the problem.
"Will that really work?" Scarlett asked.
Kenshin nodded his head and replied confidently, "Of course it will, but that isn't a long-term solution so we should still need to come up with a more stable solution on how to resolve our financial problem."
While Kenshin and the rest of the group continued discussing how to further develop Dressrosa, Doflamingo already reunited with the rest of his crew.
"Where's Machvise and what happened to the ship?" Doflamingo asked.
Lao G who was in front of the group lowered his head while clenching his fist, "Machvise died, he sacrificed himself to protect us all."
"What?!" Doflamingo shouted with bulging veins appearing on his face.
"After we capture Viola, we immediately left Dressrosa but on our way here a young man suddenly opened a portal in the middle of the ship and took Viola, he then left a weird ball that caused a huge explosion," Monet explained what happened to them.
"KENSHIIIIIIIIIIIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Doflamingo didn't have to think as to who the young man was and already knew that it was Kenshin who interrupted his plans.
