Chapter 25: Maya Hansen 2
(A/N: I'll write this here because of a comment that I have seen about Kotaro's personality.
If you haven't noticed it yet, the way that he thinks/talks to himself and the way he talks to others is vastly different. What does that mean? It means that he's putting on a mask when dealing with those he doesn't trust. Simple as that. And if someone says that the jokes/comedy part doesn't fit a bigshot CEO I can only facepalm. Dude being a successful businessman doesn't automatically make you an emotionless cold humorless robot.
Even Doctor-Fucking-Doom has shown some humor once or twice!!
And he is not Evil, his alignment is Chaotic. He can be worse than The Joker or better than Captain America just because he feels like it. It's literally in the name of the fanfiction too!!

I stopped my train of thought in favor of starting my sale plans for recruiting Maya when she showed some signs of waking up.
The time it took for Xie Ye to heal Maya from a barely alive corpse to a healthy-looking young woman made me thirst for an OP healing skill all the more.
Fun fact about Xie Yen. She's a distant relative of Xie Lingling, a future member of The Emperor team of Heaven Dou Imperial Academy, the future bearer of Nine Heart Flowering Apple. A martial soul is recognized by the world as a miracle because of its healing capacity.
Even though Xie Ye's Flowering Apple spirit is not as strong as the legendary martial soul, it's still a strong auxiliary spirit nonetheless.
It makes me want to have Lingling under my control before she's affiliated with anyone else who might become a nuisance to my future plans.
I have no delusions that my takeover of the douluo continent will be smooth and without struggle even though I plan for it to be so.
There WILL be oppositions so I have to make sure that they do not have any chance of becoming more than a nuisance for me. What better way for doing so than using my meta knowledge to my advantage and nip it in the bud.
*Groan*
Oh? it seems like Dr.Hansen is finally conscious.
She started to wiggle around a little bit, trying to go back to sleep I think? before she abruptly jumped up and screamed,
"WHAT?!"
"Please don't shout Dr, just take some deep breaths and we can get to the whats and hows."
Her gaze immediately darted to my position, looking confused. Probably for more than just being alive too.
Then she looked at Nene and her posture became cautious and concerned.
A natural reaction that I couldn't see in either Orochimaru or Mayuri simply because of the worlds they came from.
In Naruto-verse a three/four-year-old might as well be a trained assassin ready to slit your throat at a moment's notice, and in soul society souls appear at the same age that they died thus you can see people like Toshiro who look like a child but are actually old men.
So she probably thinks of my mother as the person responsible for her newfound situation.
"Who are you? Where is this place?" She asks, still looking at my mother, waiting for her response that never came.
My mother just looked at me, not wanting to say something that I might not want to.
This is evidence of her training to become a Goudere instead of Yandere, and I dare to say it's coming along very well.
(A/N: For those who don't know, Goudere is a not-so-staby yandere.)
I gave her a sweet smile that she returned with one of her own and we both turned to look at Maya.
"She's my beautiful mother, Nene and you are in our mansion.
I am the reason that you are here and the nurse beside you is the one that healed you on my orders." She looked quite shocked when I told her all of this.
"Oh, and you are not on earth anymore." I added as an afterthought.
This immediately got her body tense and if I had to guess, put her in a flight or flight faster mode.
She's not one to fight, that's for sure.
I gave her a little time to calm down and it seemed to work well enough after a minute or two.
*Maya's pov*
Starting to process what I found out till now, I started by calming my breathing and taking notes of everything and everyone.
Including myself.
My body is in perfect condition. There seems to be no sign of a near-death experience. And that led me to take note of my clothes, the only reason that I was sure the things that happened are not some sort of dream. They were covered in my blood.
Warm blood.
It means that I was not out of it for as long as I initially thought. A few minutes at best, and if this kid is telling me the truth about not being on earth that means these people are potentially an advanced race of aliens or have superpowers.
Both of which are dangerous.
If I want to stay safe then I need to stay on their good grace until further notice.
Thinking about my safety made me remember the fear that I experienced by nearly dying. The helplessness... The pain... Everything was so frightening.
It's a miracle that I'm still alive. A second chance.
One I don't intend on wasting.
I'm not going to die! Never again.
*Kotaro's pov*
[+20 Aff with Maya Hansen because of saving her]
Nice.
"Now that you're calmer let's talk about why I saved you, Doctor Hansen."
[-5 Aff with Maya Hansen. you know why master.]
Yes, I do. But I expected a more prominent decrease. 5 is not much, especially in the starting stages.
She's probably just holding on to her judgment until I tell her the reason that I saved her.
"And pray tell why did you take me from earth to another planet? Oh, and while you're at it please tell me your name too. It's not nice that you know me and I don't."
"Oh pardon my rude behavior. I had to deal with two mad scientists before you and that tired me out.
My name is Kotaro Fuma, heir of the Fuma clan."
She nodded at that and her body relaxed just a tiny bit. Probably because my name is of Japanese origin making her think of me as another human being.
It is not that hard to predict people's thought processes after my years of psychological experience and studies was turned into a skill far more efficient, especially when to top it all I know too much about the said person and their universe in general.
Based on her being part of the Marvel universe the concept of superpowered beings and aliens are the things that she would most likely think of as the first possible answer to this situation that she has found herself in so the reason for her reaction to my name is quite obvious.
"Nice to meet you, Kotaro. But you still have not answered the first part of my question. Why did you save me? And which planet we're on right now?"
I tilted my head a little bit and took a confused expression upon my face.
"Another planet? No Doctor, it's another dimension AND planet."
Her dumbfounded face is actually hilarious to look at.
Oh, it would have been nice to have a camera right now.
"I have transported you through a portal in space-time so I could use your expertise in biochemistry and nanotechnology on a project of mine.
But for you to understand this project I have to tell you more about this world first."
*A while later, After the explanation is done*
After I was done telling her about how this world differed from her own, explaining about the project and its end goal of "Human and beast co-existence so that WE can stop the millennia-long war", to say she was fascinated is an understatement.
Of course, she didn't believe everything right off the bat and I had to show her evidence for my claims to prove I was what I said.
The thing that I like about her, and one of the main reasons that I summoned her instead of someone else, is that she's quite prone to manipulation despite her super-genius level of intellect as seen in her story of life.
And when an "Innocent" child excitedly talks about how he's going to bring a new era of peace and prosperity to the world, people tend to look at it as a child's pure-hearted dream, making them drop their guards far easier.
Especially people like her.
And my acting is just too good for her to think of it as anything else besides what I show.
It even got me a +25 Aff with her, bringing her total to a solid 40.
In our first meeting.
This woman is so easy to fool that I almost feel bad about it.
The key word is Almost.
"How about we go and see the people whom you will work with in the future?" I asked Maya while standing up from my seat beside my mother who helped in my explanations.
"Yes, that would be great but I-I need a change of clothes if possible." No matter how much she tried to sound nonchalant about it, she ended up stuttering in the end.
Looking at her clothes I had to hide my appreciation of the sight that was presented before my eyes. Her T-shirt was torn right above her breast, showing almost everything.
Unfortunately, I had to obligate with her request so as to not seem like a little perv.
So I nodded and said,
"We can ask my maids and you can change in this room after they bring you something.
Ma-chan, A-chan." I called for them and they came in front of me like they always do.
"Can you bring miss Hansen a change of clothing?"
Ao looked at Maya, or her breast to be more precise and said,
"Ara? Why do you want to hide those beauties?"
...

...
Her words made for an awkward atmosphere, while she kept looking at Maya's boobs.
Well, she was this perverted in the original work too so in hindsight I should have expected that one coming.
