Chapter 10: Handsome.

"So tell me, what is your job? Can I follow you there? You don't mind right, right? I promise I will be very obedient!"

At this time, Camry and Halona were in the kitchen doing the dishes. After being talked to for a long time, Camry had no choice but to help Halona in washing the plates that they used.

Having spent most of her years alone and doing everything by herself, Camry realized it was not so bad to have somebody around at times. Although she made no comments when Halona was speaking, she listened patiently. It was the first time someone spoke to her for a long.

"Answer me! Tell me, what do you do? I can follow you to work right?" Halona asked again. Her eyes shone with enthusiasm.

"I have no job," Camry said coldly. It was as if she remembered the incident that made her jobless. Her eyes darkened in anger.

"Oh..." Halona mouthed. She saw that Camry did not look pleased about the matter and thought of a way to remedy the situation.

"Why don't you find another job then?" She asked quietly afraid that she would piss Camry off.

"Not interested" Camry responded. She wiped the last plate in her hand before turning around to leave the kitchen.

Halona was stunned, she stared at Camry's departing figure with a dropped jaw. Did I offend her now? She asked herself.

After standing for a while, she regained her mind and ran out of the kitchen too. She had to live this first day successfully. She believed that if she succeeded in becoming Camry's roommate the first day, she could stay forever. But if she failed now and is thrown out...

She walked into the room and saw that Camry was already removing her clothes. Was she going to sleep again? No, that is not good, she thought.

Halona courageously took a step forward but when she got closer, Camry was removing her top from her head leaving her body with just a black bra.

Halona froze. She stared at Camry's bare body. Her eyes blinked continuously. One could see a drool running from her slightly opened lips to her jaw.

Why did she not know that a woman's body could be this edible?! She was shamelessly fawning over Camry's topless body.

Camry's skin was fairer than most girls, it was spotless and flawless. A perfect work of art. No one would have noticed her slightly raised hip and curves because of the kind of clothes she always wore. Her bosom had the right amount of flesh. With that kind of perfect body and skin, she could pass off as a highly demanded model!

Halona pouted with envy! Why does her best friend have such a perfect body? She suddenly wants to hoard Camry to herself and not give chance to any man to see her best friend's treasure.

It was as if Camry noticed that she was being stared at, she turned around and looked at Halona with a raised brow. However, when the dumbstruck lady saw her flat stomach and breast clad in complimenting black sporty bra, she licked her lips.

This was too much torture for her innocent mind! Her best friend was making her a pervert! She swear on her life that she was innocent, innocent! Halona cried in her heart.

"What?" Camry noticed she was still being watched intently but was not self-conscious, she merely scrunched her brows and asked.

"Ah... Hahaha... so pweety" Halona muttered in her stunned state. She moved loser to Camry and subconsciously placed her palm on the latter's stomach. Halona's cheeks burned and they showed a lambent pink color. She blushed.

The one that was being assaulted was slightly shocked by the unexpected intimacy but aside from that, her face was restored to its emotionlessness.

Probably because she had not been rebuked or yelled at, Halona became even more courageous, she ran her fingers across Camry's waistline, felt her albs, and ran her fingers across her curves. She even dared to play with the belly button!

"What are you doing?" Camry's cold voice rang. She held on to Halona's wrist and stared at her with a narrowed gaze. It scared Halona so much that she squirmed.

"Sorry... your body is just so handsome..." she said in a tiny voice and tried to struggle out of Camry's iron grip.

Camry looked at the blushing lady speechlessly and pinched the space between her brows. She let go of her hand and walked to the bathroom.

She closed the door behind her and bolted it perfectly. She removed her shorts that she was supposed to remove in the room but for some reason, she could not.

She turned around and her eyes fell on her reflection in the mirror. She looked at her own body and snorted.

"How is this called handsome. She is probably blind or dumb" she snorted coldly and walked away from the mirror.

She filled the tub with warm bubbling water. She then stepped into the tub, the moment the water surrounded her body, she closed her eyes.

"Very foolish" she chuckled coldly.

"Look who is thinking about being handsome" a voice sounded in a song-like tone, very close to her ear.

Camry jerked and her eyes snapped open. She turned her head and saw nothing then she realized, it is 'the voice' again. She ignored it and closed her eyes again.

"Come to think of it, you really are handsome, not beautiful hehe... Why haven't I noticed this before she mentioned it? You believed her too, didn't you? Handsome eh?" A scornful laugh was heard.

Silence.

Camry submerged into the water with her eyes closed. Her hair floating on the surface of the water. At that moment, she chose not to be distracted. After a minute or so, she rose from the water. She changed the water in the tub into a clean one. She rinsed her body before stepping out of the tub.

She took her towel from the rack and tied it around her body.

"Hey, I am talking to you!" being ignored was not accepted by this lousy fellow. However, Camry was definitely not giving in this time.

"You have become ungrateful now eh? Now that you have a better company, you seem not to want me anymore. I understand that I was never wanted in the first place and I am not surprised. But... you can't just ignore me! If you keep on ignoring me, I'll just—"

"Quiet" Camry uttered coldly causing the voice to stop. Her head felt peaceful once again.

"Hmmph!" a cold harrumph sounded before everything became calm. The voice had been silenced.

Camry raised her brows with a small frown. A second later, the expression vanished leaving her face empty and unreadable. She walked out of the bathroom.

"Ah..." a scream escaped Halona's lips. She fell back as soon as Camry opened the door. Because she had been leaning on the door previously, she lost her balance and fell to the ground.

Camry glared at the fallen lady with a narrowed gaze. "What are you doing?" She questioned.

"I— I was just... nothing! I swear I was not doing anything!" Halona uttered, she threw her hands to the front before Camry to should that she was speaking the truth.

However, Camry did not believe. Her eyes narrowed dangerously. Her fingers around her towel tightened subconsciously. Was Halona spying on her? She could not help but wonder.

"I am speaking the truth! You... you stayed so long in the bathroom and I thought something happened... I was just checking on you to see that you are safe. I really did not do anything!" Halona said seriously.

Camry's gaze deepened almost piercing through her skin. After a while, she walked away without saying anything. Halona was confused, she bit her lips pitifully. She could not tell if Camry believed her or not.

She was really telling the truth... Half of the truth anyway. She waited for Camry to come out of the bathroom for so long but she noticed that there was no movement coming from the bathroom.

There was no sign of someone doing anything there. Although she really felt the urge to peep at Camry's body once again but she cautioned herself. But when she thought that Camry could have slept off in the bathroom, she could not stand ceremony anymore.

She tried to open the bathroom door but it was locked. Then she pressed her ear against the door and heard bubbling sounds and even murmurs. She was sure that Camry was fine. But instead of leaving, temptation crept in.

She tiptoed and tried to check Camry's body out. She was not even able to catch a glimpse no matter how hard she tried. She jumped, tiptoed, pressed her face against the glass... she saw nothing.

She was still trying her luck when the door flew open. When she saw Camry walk out, her face burned in embarrassment. What was she doing!

Halona wanted to smack her own face for being so silly. Realizing that she was still standing on the same spot, she dragged her body towards Camry. Camry was already wearing cloth.

"Cam... I am so sorry, I won't ever do that again. Please don't throw me out" She pleaded with a small guilt-filled voice. Her head lowered as if waiting for her punishment.

Camry looked at her with pursed lips. They have only spent hours together and the lady had caused her so much headache. She realized that she had compromised more than she had ever done before.

"Forget it" She softened her voice. Halona raised her head, she took a step to jump into Camry's arms again but stopped herself at the last minute.

"Just that? What if she really spied on your 'handsome' body?" The silent voice came intruding again.

As usual, the voice was ignored. "You can do anything you want," Camry said to Halona. She was being considerate again. Something she did not always do.

"Tsk... boring" a certain voice mumbled.
