Chapter 27: Moving Part 3
"Don't worry, grandma, no matter what he tries, I will try to handle it as best as I can." Shen Xia was not sure what was to come, but she would not let anything get to her anymore. As it was, she already had a lot for her to worry about. She did not wish to worry about unimportant people.
"My Xiaxia is growing up..." Zi Shu let out a sigh as she cupped Shen Xia's cheek. "You handle things. If you need help, you can always come to me. Even if the whole world turns against you, you can count on your grandmother to be on your side."
"Hehe, grandma, if you were a man, I would have fallen for you right there." Shen Xia teased as she hugged her grandmother.
"You brat!" Zi Shu smiled as she pinched Shen Xia's waist. "All joking aside, Xiaxia, be careful. Shen Xu is a snake. He was the one who helped Shen Chen usurp your grandfather. He only cares about what is useful to him. This is why he was able to show no hint of sadness for dumping Xin'er on you. But be wary he may still try to use her in some way."
"I know, I will." Shen Xia left her grandmother and went into her room where she saw Lilith, Quan Xinya, and Shen Linxin packing up her things. "How was it?"
"We already told her everything, so you can go ahead and reveal your true self." Lilith answered with a smile.
"Thank god!" Shen Xia let out a sigh of relief as she took off her hoodie and hat, letting her ears pop out to get some air. She then released the strap on her tail and lowered the hem of her pants a bit, allowing her to pull her tail out and let it sway back and forth.
Shen Lingxin's eyes opened wide in surprise when she saw the tail and ears. For some reason, she suddenly had this strong urge to run up and rub her cheek all over Shen Xia's fluffy tail. She was actually using all the self control she could muster to keep herself from doing just that! "Lingxin, I think you should just give in and fluff it. The way you are staring is kind of creepy."
"I..." Shen Lingxin blushed as she got up and walked over to Shen Xia, and grabbed hold of the soft fluffy tail. "So soft..."
"Alright! Enough! I can't take it when people touch my tail. I can feel every motion, and it feels weird. Plus, we need to get packing" Shen Xia said as she pulled her tail away. It was always a weird sensation when people touched her tail.

Shen Yi's Villa was located in a gated community with high security. It was a place that only the rich of the rich could enter. When the place was first built, Shen Yi had bought up a few lots and had not really done anything with them since then. He has, however, kept them well maintained.
Shen Xia had not lived in such a fancy house since she was little. When she first entered the villa that was a three story western style house, she was quite surprised to see the modern decor it had. Ash grey trim and floors combined with white walls made for a modern yet rustic feel to it. "This place is really nice."
"Haha! Xiaxia, you here." Shen Yi's voice came from upstairs as he walked down with two others. One older man and one older woman, who were the head maid and butler of the Shen household and two of Shen Yi's most trustworthy confidants.
The older woman was around sixty years of age and had been working for the Shen family since a young age. Her name was Fu Min, and the man next to her was her husband Fu Tian. The couple was a little strange compared to Chinese standards as they like to be called by their first names.
"To think Xiaxia has grown up so much since we last saw her." Before Shen Xia could even greet her grandfather, she watched as Min pushed him to the side and ran down the stairs, and pulled her into her embrace. "I am so sorry I couldn't protect you back then."
"Min, if you squeeze her like that, she will not be able to breathe." Tian said with a chuckle as he helped Shen Yi down the stairs.
"Xiaxia, these two have always kept asking about your well being. Min here was your mother's maid when she was younger. And her husband has been at my side since he was young." Shen Yi explained. "So forgive her if she is a little emotional."
"I-It's fine..." Shen Xia gently patted Min's back. She felt a little weird being hugged by a stranger.
"You can also trust them as they already know about your special features. They have long been bound by a blood contract years ago. This is why I brought them here to help take care of things around the house. For now, the third floor is set up with four rooms for you girls. I will have some people bring your things up. Xiaxia, you and the girls go explore the place while I talk with your grandmother."
"Okay, Grandpa." Shen Yi watched the four girls run off, Min was right behind them, and Tian went to get some people to handle bringing their things in. He then turned to Zi Shu and let out a sigh. "It has been many years since we were able to live together."
"Old man, you should have just said to hell with them a long time ago. But I guess it is better late than never. How did that brat Chen take it?" Zi Shu asked as she walked up and hugged her husband.
"Ah him… Let's just say he is not in the best of moods, and we will need to keep a close eye on his actions or he might just target Xiaxia for real this time."
