Chapter 19: Chapter 19: Viridian forest
Alex and the group from Viridian City Pokemon school enters the Viridian forest after both Alex and Vincent heals their pokemon at the Sentry troops camp.
The large trees in the forest blocks the sunlight from entering the forest making it very dark inside the forest. Only the path provided by the alliance is visible because of the lights build by the alliance for travellers. On entering the path the first thing Alex notices is a warning board with the following words written in it.
→DO NOT STRAY AWAY FROM THE PATH. →DANGER LURKS EVERYWHERE IN THIS FOREST.
→DO NOT USE ANY SWEET SUBSTANCE WHILE TRAVELING THROUGH HERE.
Alex:Is it as dangerous as they say here.
Miss Kathy: Yes it is... and let's move a bit faster we have reach the rest house provided by the alliance before 7pm
Answers Miss Kathy as she takes the lead to direct the children from the school.
Alex: Why 7 pm... what happens if we are late.
Mr David: After 7 pm we will not have any lights along the path and during that time many wild pokemons come out in huge numbers only the rest house can protect us during that time, if we try camping on the road we will surely get attacked.
Miss Kathy: Let's move along David .... Come on don't slow the Kids down.
Mr David: Let's move then Alex.
The group moves fast but they stop many times to see the butterfrees, caterpies, oddishs, and friendly pokemons under dim lights.
They reach the guest house only at 7:30pm completely exhausted. They could reached here by 7:15pm but they had to face a group of pinsirs.
Mr David, Vincent and Alex fought against a group of 15 pinsirs while Miss Kathy protected the children from stray attacks and led them towards the rest house. Alex's Pidgeotto and Gastly took down 6 pinsirs, 4 were handled by Mr Vincent's Weezing and Machop and the last 5 were taken down by Mr David using his Growlithe (Top elite level) alone.
After reaching the guest house the children from school talk about the exiting battle and the variety of pokemons they saw along the way here. After chatting for sometime miss Kathy takes the Children to have dinner and rest for the day.
The rest house has 2 floors,the ground floor has dormitory like arrangements while the top floor has 4 rooms. The children and Miss Kathy takes the ground floor while Alex,Mr David and Vincent takes the top floor.
Alex decides to freshen up before sleeping. After a nice warm bath he changes his clothes and moves to the balcony of his room to have look at the forest at night. As he was looking through the forest, he felt like something was watching him so he looks around one more time, this time he sees a pair of grey eyes staring at him from the dark forest.
Who is that Pokemon????
