Chapter 14: The new movie
The next morning, Alex woke up at 7 a.m. full of energy after a good night's sleep. The sun had already risen, letting in its warmth on this beautiful day. After a little exercise session, as she did every morning, she showered and was about to make her breakfast when she heard the door open.
Fidelia, trying to enter quietly, was greeted by a smiling Alex waiting just outside the door with her arms crossed. Seeing her friend standing there with a grin, Fidelia smiled at Alex and greeted her with a "Hello Baby Girl, why are you standing in front of the door... You scared me...".
"I was waiting for my wild cat to come home..." Alex smiled suspiciously.
Fidelia just laughed and went straight to the kitchen, she was ravenously hungry and her only job now was to fill her belly.
"Well?" Alex followed Fifi, not giving her time to calm down. She was curious to see what her friend was up to tonight.
"What?" Fidelia was busy looking in the fridge for something to eat. She knew her friend was curious as hell.
"Was your Versace dress on the floor all night?" Alex smirked when she saw how rumpled her dress was.
"How do you know me so well?" Fidelia did not even pretend to be shy or anything...
"It's so obvious, I mean, look at your face... You look so happy... So, do I have a new brother-in-law?" Alex was always happy when Fifi dated, since she did not have a date herself, she liked to see her best friend living her best life while she was in a relationship.
Fidelia did not know how to answer her friend as she remembered what Christopher had said to her and after thinking about it, she thought about the situation for a bit before saying, "No, not right now. I just have fun tonight, you know? Just to relieve my stress before I start my new job."
Alex knew her friend best and could see that she was interested in this guy, and since she had already gone all the way with him, it was even more certain that she wanted to be with the man. And even though Fifi had just said that there was nothing there, Alex knew that it would not take long for Fidelia to win the man over.
"Why do I feel like I am going to spend more nights alone like yesterday ... Poor me ..." Alex sighed and went back to preparing her breakfast.
"I think you can have a night like mine for as long as you want, you know, with your special man." Fidelia smirked, thinking of the man she let slept with the night before. 'He was so cute' she thought.
"What are you talking about ... We are just pretending. Remember?" Alex blushed a little as he thought about what Fidelia was implying.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, but you seem to appreciate his company. Anyway, what did you do last night?"
"Yeah, seems like it." Alex smiled; it was no lie to say that she actually liked Ethan's company. "For what I did last night, I did not do much ... oh, I met our neighbor. A mysterious man, and before you ask me if he's handsome: I do not know, I could not see his face." Alex added
"What?" Fidelia was a little surprised but then thought that it was not that strange, but that she had been talking to a stranger was weirder. "And how did you talk to him?" she asked, sitting down to wolf down her breakfast, still in her red dress.
"I was on my bedroom balcony, and he was on his balcony, but strangely enough I could not see him. We talked casually; he had such a beautiful voice."
"Is not he a pervert? That's creepy..." Fidelia was a little suspicious of the man, but thinking of where they lived, she quickly dismissed her thoughts.
"I had that thought too, but I do not think he is... And somehow I feel comfortable talking to him." Alex had the same thoughts as her friend. They lived in one of the most expensive areas in the country, only celebrities or rich people lived there, and security was tight. Besides, she had just moved in, not many people knew her, so the thought of the man being a stalker or something like that was out of the question. Still, it was strange to talk to someone like that.
"You have been feeling comfortable talking to some men lately... It's a sign!" Exclaimed Fidelia.
Alex knew what was coming now, so she interrupted her friend's thoughts, "What sign? Are you telling me now that he's my cure too?"
"Maybe, who knows? No one said it was going to be just one man. Maybe you'll be dealing with two men... ooh a love triangle, that would be so entertaining ah ah..." Fidelia was already starting to fantasize about a possible love affair with Alex as the main lady.
"You are crazy Fifi..."
Lying alone in his bed, Christopher smiled and thought, "She just runs off... Just like that...without a word..., that's a new one...".
Being a ladies' man and one of the most eligible bachelors in the country, he would do anything to have a woman in his bed once he had his eye on her. And when that happened, the girl would eventually cling to him, and he did not like that at all! He could not allow either of them to spend the whole night with him. But now this one was just gone without even leaving a note. Instead of being happy, he was rather downhearted.
At 1 p.m that same day, RoyalStar's PR team released a statement about the upcoming film on its online homepage and on television, "Hello, this is ROYALSTAR; we are pleased to announce today that we will be releasing a new film in two months. We will start casting in a week, however, we already have a few artists in mind for the lead roles. We can also tell you already that the leading man role will be played by our own Ethan. We hope that this film will be well received. We can assure you that this film will give you many surprises." The post was short but has already attracted a lot of people!
RoyalStars movies have always been the most awaited movies in the country and the most-watched movies from the first day of their release and remained at the top of the show for several weeks. On the internet, people were already commenting on the post and writing that they can not wait to see the new movie. Ethan's fans were also rejoicing. They could not wait to see the new movie with their favorite actor.
On the other hand, the actors were all surprised by this news. Some agents were already trying to find out who will lead the casting, some were going to try to use the back door, others were just waiting for the details of the movie to start preparing for their auditions.
Three hours later, two more posts were posted by RoyalStars describing the story of the movie, "Our new movie will be a police crime story with a fight between a criminal organization and the police. We cannot tell you more. This movie will have many amazing fights, you will enjoy it, we assure you."
The other message was about the audition, "The audition will be easy; the actors will have to play only one scene of the film. So we request you to be prepared for any eventuality".
In a mansion somewhere in the city, Aria was lying in her bed and scrolling on social media when she saw the message. She immediately called her agent and asked her to find a way to let her be in this movie. She could not pass up the opportunity to be in a movie with her self-proclaimed future husband, Ethan.
She made sure to also call her brother, who now ran their family modeling company, to ask him to pull some strings to make sure she got the part she wanted.
"Brother, have you seen the new feature from RoyalStars? They want to make a new movie, I want a role in that movie, I want to be Ethan's lover in that movie! You have to help me no matter what!" She exclaimed excitedly!
