Chapter 18: He is mine
Apart from his stupidity, there was a reason why Clyde did not know Leila well. The Jensen family was a very discreet family; Eli Jensen wanted his children to have an ordinary childhood, so he kept them away from the press, social evenings, and other events that could bring them to the spotlight. Even at school, people didn't know they came from a rich family. Many people didn't know what they looked like when they were growing up, especially Leila, who was less known in the business world compared to her brother who as the one who should take over the family business was a little more exposed. Another reason was that she preferred to work while hiding her identity, just to have a quiet life, but people gradually started to know who she was. Her name was the best clue.
"She's the daughter of Mr. Jensen? Does she own RoyalStar? I didn't know that! But that does not mean she can be so disrespectful to me! Sooner or later, she'll pay for it!" Clyde was really pissed! In his life, no woman was allowed to treat him like that.
"Make her pay what? With what? Your stupid brain? Our business is going down the drain!!! Thanks for not making it harder for me!!! Besides, your sister is about to marry Eliott, so be careful what you do! This wedding is our only chance to save Priceless!" Alan looked at his son with disdain, he was fed up with his son's stupidity! He really didn't know how he had produced such stupid children.
Aria was horrified to hear what her father had just said. She had no intention of marrying Eliott, she had not even really met him yet. Who knew what he looked like? The guy was like a ghost. He was never present at socials events, and in magazines, you could only find his profile. Besides, she was in love with Ethan!
"Dad, I do not want to marry Eliott, I love Ethan! Why are you making me marry someone I don't even know, Dad?" She yelled, getting very upset.
"What kind of nonsense are you saying? Eliott is the future heir to ROYAL Corps, of course, you are going to marry him. This is our only chance to get our company back on its feet. After you marry him, we will find a way for the Jensen's wealth to go to you!?" Shella gave her an angry look and pinched her daughter so she could shut up. She'll make sure that an unfilial child of hers got into that family no matter what!
Clyde did not know how to answer his father, He was already pissed! And his father was just adding salt on his wound. Seeing that all attention was now focused on his sister, he went to his room, leaving the others behind.
"Mom, where did this marriage thing come from? I have never heard of it before! " Aria was frustrated, she was already in love with Ethan! She had made it her goal to have the man and now she was being told to marry another man!
"Actually, it's a thing that both of our families decided on years ago!!! And Mrs. Jensen called your father a few days ago to ask him if he still remembers the process of his daughter getting married to her son. So, I think that they intended to respect that promise. It's all settled, you are going to marry him!" Shella declared overjoyed. She had been waiting for such a chance since her daughter was born. She had been worried about her image because her business was not doing well, but now she was already looking forward to her daughter soon being a Jensen.
"Mom, I don't really want to marry him! I am in love with Ethan and I'll only love him!" Aria yelled out, there was no way she was going to watch her parents marry her off to another man.
" You better get that stupid actor out of your head because you are going to marry Elliot as soon as possible." Shella snorted before sitting with her legs crossed and sipping her wine.
Aria did not respond to her mother. She knew there was nothing she could do about it, her father's words were sacred scripture in their home, and her mother, who had helped her sometimes, would not help her this time. Angry and with tears in her eyes, she went to her room and jumped on her bed cursing her parents!
To change her mind, she went to social media to look for news about Ethan. And as soon as she opened the first page, she came across a new scandalous article about Ethan titled "Ethan on a love date". The article showed a picture of him with a woman entering the Royal 5 Stars. Unfortunately, the woman's face was not visible, nor was Ethan's, but his car was familiar to everyone. So, it was not hard to tell it was him.
The comments poured in like a flood. Ethan fans were dying to find out who this mystery woman was. This time, they had more clues about the mystery woman, like her beautiful legs, which were exposed by her short skirt this time. Also, Alex was wearing the ring on her finger that she always wears. When fans saw it, they were sure it was the same woman as last time. Some fans speculated that she was definitely a model given the length and beauty of her legs.
Aria fans who always paired her with Ethan speculated that it was her! But Ethan's fans disagreed with that claim. For them, she could not be, their favourite actor had never been interested in her, plus she was too small to be the girl in the picture. They all know Aria's legs and that leg was definitely not hers! The two sets of fans argued back and forth in the comments on the article.
One comment suggested that it was the international model Alex Michell who was recently back in Florelia. Then an ocean eye commented with an attached photo of Alex from the airport showing her wearing the same ring. Fans were in a frenzy over the possibility of this new couple. Oceans Eyes were even more excited. Ethan's fans commented on Alex's photo, and everyone was taken by her stunning beauty and praised her beautiful figure and charm. The majority of the fans were in favor of this new couple and others were already calling them "the beauty couple of the country".
Aria was all over the place. She too recognized the ring! She had seen it on Alex's finger, the day they met at CANDIDE. Thinking about it made her even angrier! 'That bitch is definitely going to pay for what she did to me that day!!!' She thought, and since she dared to stumble with "her Ethan", there was no question that this bitch was going to take him away from her too. It was her Ethan!!!, she got even angrier thinking about the fact that it was already the second date they had! And the fact that Alex was standing there with Ethan looking so damn happy was an unbearable situation for her! Ethan was hers and no one else. She had to find a way to end these scandals quickly and make him her husband before her father forced her into that stupid marriage.
"Pam, find me the ring that bitch in the scandal with Ethan is wearing! I will leave it with you until tomorrow" Aria called her manager.
"Okay, I'm on it, I will find it for you! But why do you need the ring... People will say that you are copying her!!!" Pam reminded her artist who seems to always find a way to do stupid things.
"Just do what I told you!!!" Aria shouted back already infuriated by the article.
