Chapter 7: Chapter 07- Saving Time

Inside the Scroll. Zagreus was in a wood in the middle of a dense forest of gigantic trees, and in front of him he could see a huge waterfall.
But he didn't wait for long, for shortly afterwards he heard a deep voice that carried the weight of an authority unimaginable to Zagreu.
"So, you are the descendant of my clan?" Said the old looking man but still mortal, while Oogway looked like a loving grandpa, this old man looked like a strict gentleman.
He had long hair that was opaque white with age, a long Shifu-like mustache, had blue scales on his forearms and ankles, 3 horns protruding from his head, 2 from his temples and one in the middle of his forehead.
The Old Man wore an ancient Chinese robe of deep blue color that matched his blue eyes with a reptilian pupil.
"Apparently my ancestry hasn't disliked over all these years, it looks like there's at least someone with True Dragon blood, but through your eyes you're not only Dragon, but you're still strong, I don't understand, Dragons don't mix with other species, so how do you exist?...well, each one with its secrets, I won't pressure you to speak, because well, I'm already dead, and what's left of the my clan was probably extinct without the Scroll." Said the Old Man that apparently it wasn't so bad.
"My name is Shen Long, Patriarch of the Long Clan of Dragons, and you, my son, what is your name?" Asked the Old Dragon with joy to the younger one.
"My name is Zagreus Di Leoni, and I need to learn the Dragon Scroll so that I can save my friends from the imminent destruction of a terrible enemy."
Zagreus soon says that even if he wanted to stay there, he couldn't, he had to get back as soon as possible to save his friends and his future girlfriend.
Shen Long sees your haste due to an enemy and gets serious, an enemy of your youngest grandson? He couldn't leave it that way, but he's just a spirit who needs to follow the rules of the Scroll. And Zagreu will have to pass the test, whether he likes it or not.
"Zagreus to learn [Dragon Style], you will have to defeat your greatest enemy." As soon as Shen Long finished saying the sentence, at the end of the waterfall was there, a boy similar to Zagreus with totally black eyes.
Zagreus doesn't think much and then uses [Wise's Eye] on the strange man.

'But that Sh*t, training in the waterfall with my Dark self, only my beast with tail is missing.'
"You can only learn my clan's technique if you defeat yourself." Says Shen Long explaining what Zagreus should do.
"Thank you, Master Shen." Zagreus thanks and bows.
Now looking at his enemy he takes a deep breath and goes to him.

(Pov-1 Person: Tigress)
2 days later
At the Jade Palace.
A girl with flaming hair and cat ears was training with the wooden puppets. Her expression was one of frustration, since she was a child she was trained, she became the strong, unfathomable leader, but since Zagreus arrived everything has changed.
His friends and partners like him, follow his orders like it's all right, and the worst thing about it is that he is, he has a good head on his shoulders and a talent never seen before in the history of Kung-Fu.
I don't want to be a burden to my dad (Shifu), to my friends, I want to be strong and I respect strength above most, and when I trained in previous situations I always got over them.
But now I can't beat Zagreus at all, he's a good leader, a great warrior, a good cook, and he has that smile of his that makes me shiver, cough- he's a respectable warrior and takes what he wants, I don't I would care if he caught me, but I don't want to be in his shadow, or behind him, I want to be by his side fighting for him.
Thinking about it I stop training and feel my smile growing, I wanted to deny it but it's becoming more and more obvious that I'm falling in love with him.
It's been two days since Zagreus is in that state that Shifu says is learning the techniques that are in the Parchment, even though I know he's safe, I'm still nervous not to see him wake up.
At that moment the door slams open and my smile fades as I look at whoever decided to walk in right now, and see Monkey standing there and looking at me in terror.
"Tigress, Tai Lung was seen near the north of here, we need to keep him alone from Zagreus, Shifu said he will empty the Valley while we hold him." Monkey said seriously but still afraid to face that monster.
I steady my courage and respond by looking at Monkey.
"Let's go then, we don't have time to waste."
Tigress arrived in the courtyard where her companions were waiting for her, she said.
"We're going to beat Tai Lung, that's what Master trained us for, we can't depend on Zagreus at all times, even if we die in this battle, at least we can delay Tai Lung until Shifu takes them all out of the Valley." Tigress gave the order and thought about the end. 'or Zagreus wake up.'
All the Furious Five seemed to agree and then jumped off the cliff near the Jade Palace towards the north.

Shifu tried to take everyone to the back of the Jade Palace, among the mountains while there was sunlight, he feels guilty for giving the Scroll to Zagreus so late, but he had to make sure he was ready for that, he had to make sure the people were safe in their hideouts located in the mountains, they were built precisely for situations where the Valley would be attacked, but as soon as he finished that task, he would return to the Palace to protect Zagreus until his last breath.
Break Line
On the Parchment.
Shen Long, the Patriarch, stood on a large boulder as he watched the incredible determination shown by Zagreus, no matter how much the Clone knocked him down, he would get up and fight back, but what surprised him most was his style of fighting, he used different styles at the same time, it was impossible to predict his next move, due to this technique he still manages to do well.
The Dragon Clan Patriarch could only imagine what heights this Young Dragon could reach by learning his clan's technique and unlocking the true potential of his blood.
(Pov-1 Person: Zagreus)
This doll has this technique [Dragon Style], he has this crimson aura that surrounds him when he attacks, for sure this aura comes from the [Dragon Blood] skills, but I'm actually doing well, I created a technique that used the best parts of the Martial Arts I've learned so far, I called it [No Beat Style], as I created it during this battle it doesn't have it, thanks again to [Strongest Disciple].
*Cough*I Fell to the ground again from the blow to that face.
But I really hate this guy, he has the skill level of 5, every time he uses this Martial Art a Dragon figure appears behind him which I noticed increases his power.
But I need to get out of here as soon as possible, I don't know how much time has passed but I need to get out of here as soon as possible.
Break Line
(Pov- 3rd Person)
A high mountain where mist covered its bottom, which was located north of the Jade Palace, where you could see the Thread of Hope, or the so-called Infinite Bridge.
The Furious Five had just reached the beginning of one of the many bridges that connected the various peaks, the wooden and rope bridge being the fastest passage and apparently the only one that would lead to the Jade Palace so quickly.
Once there, the Five spotted Tai Lung at the end of the bridge, he looks at the Five and smiles before letting out a mighty roar and running towards them at high speed.
Shifu's current disciples hesitated, not knowing what to do, but Tigress soon regains his mind and commands.
"CUT" shouts Tigress as he makes his move towards the rope.
But Tai Lung was already more than halfway there with her speed and jumped towards Five, but Tigress was quick and jumped towards Tai Lung as she landed a spinning backwards swing that hit his jaw with his left foot.
The two then fall towards the bottom of the cliff, the four soon make the decision to hold the bridge so Tigress doesn't fall to his certain death, saving Tai Lung as well.
(Author's Note: If only Crane went and caught Tigress in midair, Tai Lung have to fallen, it makes a lot more sense to me like that.)
The two cats then face each other and Tai Lung decides to break this silence.
"Where is the Dragon Warrior?" The Snow Leopard asks playfully, as if the opponent in front of him is nothing but a fragile doll that he would love to break later.
(Author's Note: I felt bad just writing this part.*sigh*)
Tigress growls at this mockery, and questions Tai Lung back.
"How do you know the Dragon Warrior is not in front of you." She said while growling.
"Hahahahah, do you think I'm an idiot? I didn't come running here as soon as I was free, I gathered information about the Jade Palace and the Dragon Warrior chosen by Oogway, I know you are the Dragon Warrior none of you are !" The Beast Man claims and goes on to say.
"I heard he fell from the sky in a ball of fire, and he is a warrior like no one has ever seen in China."
"Zagreus?" Monkey can't help but keep his mouth shut, and says our protagonist's name.
"That's his name.... Zagreu... finally, a worthy opponent, our battle will be more than legendary." He says as he raises his fist up.
Tigress snarls at his disrespect to her and attacks him with a punch to the face with his right fist, then his left, but Tai Lung dodges easily as he counterattacks with an elbow through his left arm that Tigress also dodges.
Tai Lung performs a sweep that hits Tigress who, with his legs now high, performs a blow that holds Tai Lung's head and tries to throw him off the bridge.
Tai Lung hangs on the side ropes of the bridge and in doing so the bridge turns to the side, The Leopard then uses the ropes from which it is hanging to propel itself upwards, using gravity and its weight to its advantage, Tai Lung falls into towards Tigress with his right arm ready to throw a punch.
Tigress turns the bridge and thus dodges Tai Lung's death blow, now holding onto the bridge exchanges blows with Tai Lung, the latter who is upside down.
Tai Lung grabs Tigress by the leg and throws her off the bridge, she reacts and with her nails pierces the Snow Leopard's hand and pulls herself towards the bridge.
The two continue to exchange blows and appear to be on the same level, but Tigress is giving it his all while Tai Lung is treating it like a warm-up.
Monkey uses his brain and holds the rope that Viper was holding, the last one that arrives at the exact moment to save the red-haired beauty that was being hanged by Tai Lung using the ropes from the bridge.
Tigress loses some of his strength and falls towards the mist that seems to be too high, Crane quickly flies towards her and pulls her over the bridge again.
Viper uses her snake part and holds Tai Lung's arms, very tightly, she forces Tai Lung to hit himself, but the Leopard wouldn't let that continue and turned his body down, Vibora thinking he would fall, stops holding and now Tai Lung with his hands free is back on his feet and grabs Viper's neck.
Viper knowing she wouldn't escape alone, she screams for her mate to help her.
"MONKEY" She yells before Tai Lung tightens his grip and pulls her down.
"It will help you, I'll hold you here." The short man with antennae, Master Praying Mantis, says to Monkey, the latter nods at him before running towards the Leopard with quick jumps.
Monkey arrives at Tai Lung who didn't see him and performs a flirt with a right foot in his face, which makes him fly while releasing Viper at the same time.
Tai Lung recovers and starts running in an impossible way on one rope, Tigress who is holding onto Crane's legs calls Mantis, the latter understands what she means and swings the bridge in a movement similar to a whip.
This move on the bridge hits Tai Lung and throws him off balance, Tigress sees this as an opportunity and orders Monkey, Crane and Viper to attack the Leopard.
Monkey starts the combo with a two-foot flyby to Tai Lung's face.
Viper wasting no time and with a boost from Monkey, attacks Tai Lung's face with his tail again.
Crane uses the spare bridge ropes, takes Tai Lung to the top so he can tie him up, and serves as a platform for Tigress to jump on and attack with a two-handed strike, sending the Leopard flying towards the bottom while tied up, apparently defeating him.
Tai Lung very angry screams in anger and frustration as he falls off the bridge.
Mantis wastes no time and pulls the rope from the bridge thus saving them to dry land.
The tired looking Furious Five try to catch their breath after fighting this scary Warrior.
But Tigress notices a movement in Tai Lung's rope and the other four also look to where the red-haired beauty was looking.
The rope moves in a circle and snaps when it's toward them, a move so fast none of them notice until Tai Lung falls behind them.
"Shifu taught them well!" Tai Lung said the one that landed on land.
The Furious Five look back with different expressions but all of them have one in common: fear, Tai Lung quickly attacks Monkey's Pressure Point in the chest and the latter falls to the ground paralyzed.
"But he didn't teach them everything." The Snow Leopard ends the sentence with a roar.

The next chapter will be over 5,000 words long, and will be out on Monday as I have exams tomorrow and Sunday, so I'll be out of time to write for those days, but on Monday night I'll give you guys a worthy final fight. Don't worry so much about who his father is, who gave the system and his father are different people, his father like his mother told him to go to camp, Zagreus is Greek, and whoever blessed him will be shown at the end of this volume, after the end of Kung-Fu Panda 3.
