Chapter 16: 2 Vs 1 and Plans for the Future.
Flowey: „so…do you think he…."
Before Flowey could end his sentence, a blue arrow passed by us.
Dream: „stop talking…!"
He shot more arrows at us, which I dodged easily. Then I snapped my finger and a blaster appeared and shot a beam at dream.
Flowey also started attacking and shot his pallets at dream. Which, with no surprise, he dodged.
And so the battle started. Dream shoring his arrows at us and Flowey and me Dodgson's and retaliating.
After some time I noticed that Flowey was spreading his vines through the ground. Then two huge vines broke through and tried to grab dream. He barely dodged and At that moment I summoned a blaster and landed a hit on him.
Flowey: „good shot fresh..!"
Fresh: „thanks bro!"
The smoke cleared and dream teleported a few meters back.
Dream: „don't think because you hit me one time I'll go down!"
He suddenly teleported right in front of us and attacked with two blue daggers.
I barely dodged, but he managed to cut some of Floweys vines. I teleported away.
Fresh: „are you alright, Flowey?"
Flowey: „y..yes..just a bit unexpected"
Fresh: „then let's get serious…"
Flowey: „what do you…"
I snapped my finger again and four blasters appeared above Dream. A direct hit.
But that wasn't enough. I started teleporting back and forth, attacking dream with my blasters. At some point, dream stumbled and fell down. I teleported right above him.
Fresh: „so dream…"
My glasses slid down, revealing my parasitic body in my skull, my tentacles slowly descending.
Dream: „w..what the…"
Fresh: „you know…you damaged my vessel"
Dream: „I…what…"
My tentacles slowly started to touch dream.
Fresh: „you know…next time, I'll need to get a new one…so…if you don't want me to use your body…you better give up…"
You could feel all the positivity in the area disappearing, and dream looked terrified.
Dream: „y…yes…i understand.."
I got back up and my tentacles disappeared in my eye socket.
Fresh: „good, that's all!"
I said smiling and turned around walking away. Flowey looked at me but didn't said anything.
I turned around one more time.
Fresh: „and you tell nobody what happened here…understand?"
Dream just nodded, and I teleported back to my empty universe with flowey.
I sat down on the couch and looked up.
Flowey: „wow fresh, didn't expect you to be so scary"
Fresh: „I was scary..? I just told the truth bro"
Flowey: „oh alright…"
Flowey and I talked a bit.
Flowey: „so…if this is your universe…and you're the only thing here…does that mean you can control it?"
Fresh: „pretty much, why do you ask?"
Flowey: „well…you know I don't have a soul so…"
Fresh: „oh yea….but I'm afraid that, with what his left of this universe, I can't create souls…sorry bro"
Flowey: „oh, no it's alright…"
He looked sad, even tough he didn't have a soul and I couldn't really feel anything…he looks sad
Fresh: „but I guess…if we ever come by souls or soul shards who would normally disappear…we could bring them here and try to recreate your soul"
Flowey looked at me surprised with a hopeful look in his eyes
Flowey: „really? That would be amazing!"
Fresh: „yea, but we need to do some preparations if we want to create souls, we need to store the souls and shards somewhere…so let's get to work!"
I teleported us out, and we looked at the shards in my universe…and so we started designing. Flowey was surprisingly smart if it came to souls, probably because, since he did everything in his universe, he also got an eye on soul research.
Dream POV
I teleported back to the starts Sanses headquarter. I didn't really look good. And what the hell was that, there were tentacles coming out his skull!
Blue: „hey dream, you're back….are you okay? You don't look good?"
Dream: „oh yea, I'm fine blue don't worry"
Blue: „oh alright, ink is inside the doodle sphere, so we are alone for now"
Dream: „alright"
I went inside my room.
*What is the deal with those two..? And more importantly, how did this happen? I know ink didn't create him, so he is probably an Alternate timeline…but then, why didn't error destroy him? It's his job after all!*
*Urgh so many questions!*
