Chapter 4: Chapter 3
Mia's pov:
******In the morning******
The alarm disturbed my beautiful dream that makes me happy. I shut it angrily and shouted with a sleepy voice: "I'm going to f***ing kill you Angy for making me awake at this time after only four hours of sleep."
Did I get an answer? No. Angelina was just snoring in her bed not even moving at my voice. She was in deep sleep when I have to replace her today. I came out of the bed wanting to cry when I decided to get my revenge on her.
I smirked and went to the bathroom just to bring water and spill it on Angelina's head. I know it's cruel to wake her this way but it's more cruel to make me wake up at this time when she's sleeping so well.
She jumped out of bed not understanding what happened and can barely breathe: "What the f***?!" She looked at me finding me laughing. I could see anger grow in her eyes so I ran straight to the bathroom.
"Mia f***ing Kaiten, open this door and I'm gonna have mercy on you." That's a complete lie. She keeps using it but it only worked the first time since I didn't know she was lying. "Like I don't know you. Try a new trick, will you?"
I shouted from the bathroom and to my surprise it was quiet. That means she's hiding somewhere to have her revenge. After I freshened up and brushed my teeth I had to come out.
I can't stay here forever so I opened the door of the bathroom slowly and popped my head a bit to see where she can be and to my surprise, she was sleeping on my bed since hers is wet.
I left a complaining sigh: "Really?!" But then I just decided to have breakfast to go to the small supermarket and stop messing with her.
I wore brown jeans and a hoodie, putting my hair into a messy bun. I decided to leave my car here and walk to the supermarket. It only takes 30mn on feet. When I got there, I saw uncle Robben, the owner. "Good morning uncle Robben." I greeted him.
He was surprised to see me. That only means that Angelina didn't inform him of the switch. "Morning Mia, how are you doing?" Uncle Robben knows me as Angelina's friend not as a chef of 'SAVANA'.
SAVANA is the name of the restaurant. Angelina picked it and I don't know why she chose this one but I didn't mind it though.
Actually no one knows I'm 'SAVANA's' chef. I keep it a secret from everyone. Only Angelina, mom, grandma and few of the workers know about it.
"Good uncle, and you?" I answered uncle Robben. "Good, just waiting for your friend. She's late." He said a bit pissed off. Don't get him wrong, he is a nice person, he just hates people being late.
"Oh! About that. I'm actually the one who will take care of the supermarket today. Angy's busy." He kept quiet so I added: "If you don't mind of course." He understood his reaction so he said quickly: "Oh no! That's okay as long as someone takes care of the supermarket, and I trust you."
I felt happy to hear him say so and with that I went to the cashier's work place and started the day at work. Angelina used to work here after high school and before our restaurant started.
The reason she kept working here even after our success is uncle Robben's kindness. Well, beside wanting more money of course but she could have looked for a job somewhere else, that pays more.
I got bored few hours later. I'm not used to stay in one place like this. I arranged everything I saw not in its right place and still, only three hours had passed. I still have other six hours.
Augh, this job is boring when there is no one to buy. It's been the same way for another hour then a big guy got in. He looked my way and I smiled being polite with the clients but he just turned his head and ignored it.
At that time, I didn't decide I don't like him. It's confirmed, I DON'T like him. He is more like fat than muscular. The kind that ride motorcycles and have a gang.
