It had already been two days since Balira's return from the UK, her Baba was having a hard time telling her about the arrangements of the marriage. Mr Bashar hadn't told any of his children, it was only he and Mrs Amira who knew about the marriage."I think I should tell her today because the marriage is in two days" Mr Bashar said to his wife who concurred. with the decision made, Mr Bashar personally called his children down for what he called a special dinner which he prepared himself."mmm, baba this dish is amazing" Xhara said surprised that her father's hand-made food was this finger-licking good." I agree with Xhara, it's really good baba" praised Jamal. Balira was watching her father's tense expression and she could tell that he had something important to say, but she couldn't figure out what it was. When Mr Bashar had felt like the time was right, he was going to drop the bomb." Well listen up children, I have something important to tell you, especially you Balira. "All the children faced their Baba who had a hard time talking."we are listening Baba" Balira coaxed. Mr Bashar sighed the said "Okay here we go" Then he smiled. Mrs Bashar rubbed her husband's back to encourage him.
"Alright, the important matter is about Balira's marriage to Asad, please understand Balira. We made this arrangement to put an end to the feud between the Bashar's and Malik's". Balira was so shocked, and so was Xhara but for some reason, Jamal was fuming mad." But Baba why would you do that" said Jamal abruptly." please you all should understand'', Mr Bashar pleaded and looked at Balira who was unusually clam." when is the wedding"Balira asked with a blank expression.
"the wedding is in two days" Mrs Amira said which made Jamal angrier, he stood up and left the dining area. He went to the secluded garden behind the mansion, and he saw a statue of a bird, he smiled at the bird but then he punched it and it broke."fuck what do I do now" he said with a bleeding hand. He was so frustrated, even though he wasn't sure about his feelings, Jamal could tell that he was attracted to Balira as a woman and not as his step-sister."how do I tell her all these things in my heart if she's married" then an idea popped in his head and then he stood up and declared"I'll make sure that marriage is a failure even if it kills me" He then left the garden to plan properly.....
