Evlyn's Pov

In the night sky, the faint crescent moon glittered like a slivery claw. I let out a grunt before being dazed awake by the beast hunting something in my tummy. I decided to go to the kitchen to calm them down.

Anyway, do you want to hear something?

I'm a genius on the planet because I just grumpily slipped out of bed and stormed my sore feet.

I mean which stupid will does that?

I winced and retreated to my bed. "Ugh! Why do you keep injuring your damaged leg? "I said this while face-palming.

After some self-scolding, I limped towards the door and opened it to stroll out to grab some food to settle my stomach.

As soon as I open the door. "Oh, Jesus!" I shout when I realise there's someone in front of me. A second voice screamed after me. Due to the intruders' abrupt appearance, I instantly clenched my eyes hard. Once my heart rate has returned to normal, I cautiously open my eyes to see who the intruder is.
