Chapter 1: The Light
(A/N: This Fanfic will have slight spoilers for Naruto shippuden, more specifically the character Obito Uchiha. This fic will also have spoilers for the Solo Leveling comic, not the LN, I hope.
I am making this fanfic for fun. I don't know how far I will make the plot, it depends on how much time I actually invest into this fanfic. I am writing my own Novel as well, so this fic is more of a destresser for me. I will try to make my fanfic original, but that is rather challenging nowadays with the growing popularity of TBATE and its fanfics. I will try making my own versions of events that we have seen and make events that we haven't seen. So if I use a similar idea of another creator's fanfic and I do not mention them please point it out to me in the comments.
With that being said, I got some inspiration from H2kizzy's "Madara Uchiha in TBATE" and Jizzle_Bizzle's "TBATE: Abnormal One."

(POV: 3rd Person)
"Beep" "Beep" "Beep," an alarm clock rang at its designated time.
"Uhhh!" A man grunted as he started flailing around his bed covers. "Five more minutes," he yawned as he attempted to turn off the alarm clock. His hand hitting everywhere but the button.
"Oh you've got to be fucking KIDDING ME!" He yelled, putting his pillow over his head hoping to muffle to extremely irritating noise. He looked over at the alarm clock once more, it displayed the time of day, the time being 1pm. His eyes widened once the time registered into his head.
He jumped up out of his bed, swinging his head left and right looking for his phone, until he spotted his favorite hand held device.
He turned his phone on, his notifications showing themselves. Scrolling through them until he spotted the jackpot. "Hell yeah," he said. His excitement came from seeing a notification about a new chapter for his favorite webcomic.
(POV: Zefrow)
"New chapter of "The Beginning After The End," what a great thing to wake up to," I said as I pressed on the notification, the name of the latest chapter now being shown on my screen. I pressed on the chapter, excitement coursing through me. When the chapter loaded in, unusual text showed up on the top: "Are you ready for the real experience? If so, press accept," I mouthed the text out loud.
'What the hell is this? A joke?' I headed to the comments to see everybody else's thoughts about the text, but to my surprise there was no mention of said text. 'Is this only for me? Does no one else see this?' I went back to the text, after looking at it for a few more seconds my curiosity got the best of me. I pressed my finger on the "accept."
A bright white light shined all over the screen until it got big enough where the whole room was being illuminated. 'What the hell is going on? Why is it so bright?' "WHAT THE FU-!" my voice cut off as I was sucked in by the light.

I opened my eyes, greeted by light surrounding me.
'Am I in heaven? If so, how the hell did I die?'
"You are not in heaven, young one."
"What the, who's there?" I asked, looking every which way for the voice I just heard. Out of nowhere the seemingly bright room changed to resemble a dark night sky as a bright light manifested in front of me.
"Hello Zefrow," the light said, I think.
"Welco-," the light continued, until I cut it off. "Am I dead?" I asked.
"Well, you aren't really dead, but I wouldn't say you're alive either, at least not yet," the light explained.
"So I am dead," I said.
"Lets just say that you are dead temporarily-," the light continued.
"Whatever that means," I added, scratching my head. "Will you stop interrupting me! I've got some questions to ask you," the light said.
"Oh sorry. Please, go on."
"Anyway, you are here because you accepted the invitation for the real experience of "The Beginning After The End," the light explained.
'So that's what this is about huh, I guess i'll hear it out, not that i've got a choice.'
The light continued explaining: "Once into the world of TBATE you may proceed how you see fit, alter the story how you wish, but I must warn you young one, If you manage to die in the world of TBATE, that is the end. Unless you prove to impress me."
'So if I die in TBATE then I truly die, unless I impress the light. Whatever that means. I got a good and bad feeling about this.'
"However, before I put you into the world of TBATE, I will grant you with Two powers/abilities of your choosing. But before you choose you should know, the powers you choose may affect my judgement on your performance."
'Two powers/abilities of my choosing huh. So many possibilities, based on what the light said I should choose something that could help me but not something too overpowered.'
I smiled once the two powers came to my head. "For my first power, I would like the powers or should I say the system of Sung Jin-Woo from "Solo Leveling," so that I somewhat earn my abilities over time, would that be ok?" I asked the light.
(A/N: I will be changing some of the obtainable abilities of the system, as well as some of the missions and requirements, so that it fits TBATE and just to add some spice to the mix.)
"I like your way of thinking young one, and yes that is allowed. The system from "Solo Leveling" will be somewhat changed to fit the world of TBATE and your second power. The system will also alter your appearance, just as it did to Sung Jin-Woo. As for your second power/ability, what will it be?" The light asked.
"For my second power/ability, I would like Obito Uchiha's Mangekyou Sharingan eyes," I said, a slight burst of excitement coursing through me.
"Ok, now that both of your powers/abilities have been elected, please step up."
I followed the light to what looked like a game wheel you would see on a game show, the wheel was endlessly spinning. I assumed there were options with things written on them, but the wheel was spinning so fast that I couldn't tell.
"This is going to determine where you will land on the continent of Dicathen, as soon as you put your finger on the wheel, it will stop at a random location and you will immediately be transported to that location. So if you have any questions, now is the time." the light said, pointing at the wheel.
"I assume Arthur Leywin will still be in the world, am I correct?" I asked.
"Yes, you are correct Arthur Leywin will be in your TBATE experience," the light answered.
"Last question, when in the story will I be appearing, and how old will my body be?"
"You will appear around the time when Arthur and Sylivia spend time together in her hideout. And as for your body, it will take the shape of a four year old, around the same as Arthur Leywin. Your appearance will also be closer to Sung Jin-Woo than to your current self," the light answered.
"Any other questions, young one?" I nodded my head side to side, signaling I was ready. I put my finger on the wheel. The wheel stopped, I pulled my finger off the wheel to see the location I would travel to. It read: 'Xyrus City.'
A light started enveloping the night sky, taking me into its grasp as I heard the Lights' last words: "May your experience be eventful, young one."
