Chapter 10: Adoption Spree
INDRA'S POV-
After my problem with Yun Che was solved, I headed to the back gardens of the Xiao Manor and wandered around the place in search of a red-headed girl. And not to my surprise, I found the tsundere
When I went near her I wanted to see how strong the poison is, so I touched the surrounding poison. And to my surprise, it has the potency to affect True Gods although only when directly inflicted upon
As for Creation Gods? It can only dream, with the understanding of the Law of Life and Death they can simply sweep it away
After inspecting the poison I immediately removed all of the Absolute God Slaying Poison and then used the Sky Poison Pearl as a medium of storage, with the poison gone color started to appear on her sickly affected skin
I decided to use Time-Laws on her as I wanted to speak with someone close to her privately, and so I did
"Sebas bring me the complete soul of Xi Su and Jasmine's mother" with a somewhat weird expression as my request would probably seem weird
Sebas didn't say anything and just did what he was told, with two golden lights appearing in front of me, one shaping up to be a man that looked to be around his mid-twenties and the other a woman with a mature appearance
(Just imagine Xi Su with a similar appearance to Yun Che, just like stated in the novel)
When the golden light died down, it showed the confused faces of the two and when the two saw each other they immediately hugged, while I could only watch in awkward silence
Giving the two a bit of time before interrupting their reunion, and when I thought it was enough I coughed
*Ahem*
This managed to get their attention and immediately released each other, with a force of habit Xi Su tried grabbing something from his back most likely a heavy sword
Seeing this I chuckled and immediately spoke to erase the uncertainty, "You must be Xing Tong's brother and mother, I brought you back in order to speak to you about her"
Finishing what I said I looked at them to see if this caught their attention and as it did I continued, "I would like to adopt Xing Tong as my daughter" dropping the bomb at their feet
"You being able to revive us shows of your strength that much is guaranteed, but what I do not know is how you will treat her" Xi Su said in an ice-cold tone as if ready to pounce. The mother on the other hand was...
Ignoring me and already hugging the unconscious Xing Tong with tears of joy in her face that she could finally hug her own daughter once again, but caused unnecessary wary on Xi Su's face
"Before you jump to conclusions, no, I did not do anything to her. I encountered her here or expected to encounter" I said to try and calm the brother down
"How about this, we form a soul contract of truth, if I lie my soul shall be ripped apart" I offered
(See what I did there? Ripped apart! with MC's ability to regenerate his soul like what was first ordered to Sebas, Mc managed to make a loophole. But ofc he never meant to lie in the first place)
"I have never heard of such a thing" countered Xi Su, but his worries were reasonable as there was no such thing in Primal Chaos
Deciding to just do it to not waste time, I ordered Sebas to establish the contract and when it was done, golden chains like Enkidu dropped from the sky and wrapped the both of us, but disappeared soon after
"It feels like I can only tell the truth" commented Xi Su for the weird sensation after establishing the contract
"Now, I'll repeat again, I want to adopt Xing Tong as my daughter and travel to a different realm apart from Primal Chaos, wherein she will be turned into a baby with zero memories Meaning new life, new family, and new everything. So do you two accept?"
I repeated my claims and plans to show my sincerity to the two, and to say the two were stunned was not a surprise. As the ability to travel outside the realms of Primal Chaos was never even heard or recorded of
"As a mother, I accept, as getting her away from this place is already a blessing but most of all I want my Xing Tong to experience a childhood she deserves" the mother said, getting out of her stupor rather quickly
The brother gaining his clarity spoke, "I do not know what we did to gain your favor, but you getting her out of here is already something I wanted for her. So, I accept"
Deciding to give them a favor I asked in case, "Would the both of you liked to be revived?"
In return, I only received a look as if it screamed, 'Do you like surprising people!?'
"I do not know how you are able to achieve such feats but I have to decline for my part, as my time has already passed, so instead of reincarnation can you instead put me to rest instead?" the mother said calmly
"Revive me. I still have scores to settle" Xi Su answered with venom in his tone, to which I simply nodded to both of their answers
With a wave of a hand, I recreated Xi Su's original body and made him a bearer of my Sigil to represent me too and explained the details of it, and only grinned at my explanation
(If you guys forgot the Sigil purifies and makes their profound energy denser. Helps them in cultivation after each kill of an opponent and pressure those with weaker cultivation bases than its bearer, and finally, with a drop of blood it removes any backlash of any Cultivation technique they are practicing)
After some Mother and Son talk, they finally bid each other their farewells, and the mother thanking me again before disappearing into golden particles
"Well it's good knowing you" he said in a somewhat choked voice, then goes to Xing Tong and kisses her forehead one last time to which she unconsciously released a small smile and left
"You know I can always bring her back when she's older right? You don't have to be so emotional haha" saying to the overprotective brother with tears in his eyes
Hearing that he just nodded and smiled before flying off into the distance...heading for the Realm of the Gods

"Sebas, erase all the memories of Jasmine and revert her body into that of a baby that is of my direct offspring" I ordered Sebas, as he was ordered to do so, I rushed to Jasmine who was steadily transforming into a baby
However, what changed was the crimson red hair turned into one with a blanket of stars on the ends of it, and I could feel an even stronger connection
(So if you noticed I'm making star like features as something to recognize the family by)
I picked her up within my arms and decided to use her oversized white silk dress as a cover for her in the meantime
"Sebas, do you think the [All-Father of Dragons] affected my mentality in some way or another?" I asked Sebas, as the thought of being a father seems naturally now like I had no aversion to it
Sebas: [Master, I think it has to do with the mentality of the bloodline and your interest in being one as well so it seems to have combined, hence you not having any second thoughts about it]
Hearing what Sebas said I could only agree, as it really did feel like that, anyway it's not negative or anything so I'll just let it be
(I have thought about it but I won't be making the Punishing sword a baby and adopting it anymore since it never had sentience or a soul unlike Evil Infant did so it just seems forceful in my opinion)
After sorting my thoughts out I summoned Sebas to carry Little Jasmine for me, as I would be heading out for Evil Infant
"Sebas, take care of Little Jasmine for me for now as I will be going to search for Evil Infant, this will only be quick though" I said, and looked at Sebas for confirmation
"Very well, I shall wait for you at the Xia Clan's residence with Little Miss" Sebas said while holding Jasmine with his arms in extreme caution
I nodded and immediately warped near the island, and when I saw the island and its surroundings I was astonished as the place basically looked like a black and white manga...except they forgot the white
The ocean dyed black, which will make any experienced diver from my previous life have an instant trauma after a second of diving, and to add to the nightmarish plot of land, corpses that share the same color of the waters float on top of the sea
"I know I can blow this entire area up to pieces with a stare, but going in there will still give me the creeps" I said to myself while staring at the abyssal ocean
Having enough of it, I charged towards the cave where Evil Infant lies and immediately broke the barrier without care, 'They are guarding the place...but I am taking the source of it...fair trade', were my thoughts
Reaching the entrance of the only enormous cave found in the island that is spewing black mist, I was suddenly greeted by a man that had similarities between the shriveled up raisin Grandma from Spongebob
(I changed his appearance for the sake of it)
"A tiny human came to become thi-"
*SLAP*
*SPLATTT*
Right before he could even finish his sentence I smacked his existence onto the wall, leaving a splatter of what seems to look like blueberry jam blood and flesh
"My little girl could already wake up at any minute!" annoyed at this zombie spawn of hell, if Moon Slaughter Devil Sovereign heard this he might've just acted as a dried-up corpse today instead of offending this overexcited father
As I went deeper into the cave, it became darker and colder, until it looked like I'm walking in an entirely different dimension that has no light altogether...it was absolute darkness
*Sniff*
I heard it...I heard the soft cries of my soon to be daughter, I looked up and there it was standing out within this void, being darker than it. I could only admire these rare sights for a short moment before I heard her speak
"please...save me..."
The way she speaks saddens me so I immediately rushed to the wheel like object and hugged her, giving her what she desired most
"warm...don't...let go...please" she asked, to which I reciprocated by making my body release even greater warmth
"Would you like to be my baby daughter?" I straightforwardly asked but instantly got an answer,
"like...family?"
"Yes, like family, and I would erase all of your memories so that you can live a new" I added
The wheel within my warm hug could only release an "uhm!" sound before drifting off to sleep...as if it trusted me whole and left it's protection upon me
"System, make her into a baby that is of my direct descent, clear her off any memories and mental trauma that she has gotten from billions of years of being sealed"
System: [10%...40%...80%...100%...COMPLETE!]
(When Sebas is summoned the "Sebas" part of it leaves entirely)
After its completion I looked at the transforming Wheel turn into a baby, with hair that has small hints of white stars within the void black hair, and as for the eyes? Still sleeping
(Just imagine a baby with long hair already haha)
"You can't witness this everyday...hah" I said to myself while staring at the baby within my arms
