Chapter 3: The Day

{31 December: 15:00}

The light of morning flittered in through my windows, the glaring light blinding me temporarily as I opened my eyes. "Agh." I let my body roll of the bed and drop onto the carpeted floor of my room. I look at my clock. 3:00 PM. 'Thank God it's the weekend. I would have missed school.' I had been up late the previous night, working on my biggest machine yet. It took up almost the entirety of floor B-1. With a quiet click, I opened the door of my room. The house hadn't changed much over the course of the year, but the Christmas decorations had yet to be taken down. I sat down quietly at the computer that I had built, and booted it up. A quiet whir started up when the coolant system started running the freezing cold water through the pipes. Thanks to some of the machinery on B-2, which was basically a shrink ray, I was able to add a water cooling system to the circulation path.

The computer looked absolutely average, however, I utilized the miniaturization machine again, and built an initially huge servo tower, with over a hundred Yottabytes of data storage. The machine could house the entire internet one hundred times over. I mainly used this for simple things I couldn't do well in my last life. Namely, stream. I never had time for fun previously, and I definitely didn't have it in the looks department. However, now I had the time, and the looks. At age 17, I was around 6'6" with dirty blond hair, Sea-blue eyes, and somehow perfectly straight teeth that never stained. I guess since I was going to be a key player in the future, ROB gave me the super model makeover. Along with my natural looks, I had a slim, but muscular body thanks to my training.

After around an hour, I went downstairs to say hello to my mother. Thanks to the model genes that literally everyone here has, she looked as though she hadn't aged a day past thirty. "Hey mom." She turned around, a grin gracing her face. "Morning sleepy-head. Sleep well?" I gave her a look, and she just laughed. "We will be having dinner in a few hours, so if you get hungry get a small snack." I nod, and walked outside, preparing to head for a short jog. I was wearing a pair of jeans, a short-sleeve shirt, and a light runners jacket. My yellow and lime tennis shoes stood out against the white snow, and I took in a deep breath of the crisp, cold December air. Letting out the breath, I used the fog to signal my start. I took off in a sprint zipping to and through central park, before noticing it was five. I hightailed it back to the house, just in time for dinner to be served.

------

I couldn't sleep. In the next hour or so, I would be receiving my abilities. Before I did anything, I checked to make sure that my mom was sleeping, and to double down on that, I sent a steady flow of a sleeping agent into her room to make sure she wouldn't wake up while I am testing everything out. I did feel a little bad about drugging my mother, but it was for a good cause. 'Alright. Breathe.' I stared at the clock. 11:55. 56. 57. 58. I started to count down. '110, 109, 108...' I took a deep breath in. 11:59. '5. 4. 3. 2. 1. 0.' 12:00. I blinked. "Huh. Nothing happene-" A piercing pain shot through my body, as my genes rapidly mutated to my wishes. "AGH." I held back a scream, but a loud grunt slipped through my closed lips.

'Fuck. Fuck fuck fuckity fuck FUCK. Why does this hurt so much!' I grasped the sides of my body, collapsing to the ground as my body could no longer support my weight. I managed to hold on for another five minutes before I slipped into unconsciousness.

------

{12:30}

I groaned, pushing myself off the floor. 'How long was I out?' I took a peek at the clock. 'Only thirty minutes?' I paused, and sorted through the jumbled mess that was my mind. A feral grin formed on my face as I realized I now had my three wishes. "Alright!" I sprinted over to the bookshelf and inputted the code, quickly hopping into the elevator and dashing straight to floor B-2. Checking to make sure that the machine was ready, I activated my favorite machine I have built yet. With the click of a button, I primed the machine while I thought back on my wishes.

---

"Alright, with your wish of going to the MCU, you have three wishes remaining. What do you want."

I sat there and thought for a second, letting my body float around ROB. "Hmm. Alright, I think I have them. For my first wish, I want the Stand; The World, and a way to achieve Heaven." he man nodded. "I can do that. It will start out as strong as DIO's World at the end of part three, and I will give you a way to collect the souls you need to achieve heaven. What else." I sat there for another second. "Alright. For my second wish, I wish for an ability that allows me to survive any attack, and then makes it so an attack of that type can not harm me again." The man nods, before looking at me once more. "I can give that, but it will only work once a day, though the effects will be permanently there. What is your last wish?"

Instantly, I know my last wish. "I want some kind of plot armor, that will allow me to come out of every major battle alive and with some kind of boost." The god smiles widely. "You know, I didn't praise your intelligence for nothing. The skill that you just wished for is one that most people think they will have off the bat, on top of their other skills. All right, that's it then. Enjoy your new life!"

---

"Alright." I stood on a red x in the middle of the room. "Fabian, activate project GR." "Affirmative, sir. Good luck." I open my arms wide, and suddenly a beam emitted from the corner of the room, disintegrating me immediately upon contact.

Here is some explination for some of the things that I explained this chapter. First off, The water coolant system. With the size of the actual computer, water would quickly reach it's boiling point, creating the need for a system that continually cools the water running through the pipes. As for a Yottabyte, a single yottabyte is equal to a million exabytes, which is around how big the internet was in 2014. His computer holds a hundred Yottabytes of data. If we were to go with the data on the 2004 internet, approximated to be around five exabytes, would end up giving him a computer that can hold all of the data on the internet twenty million times over.
