Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Frieza to Namek
After the announcer said the winners of the semi final, the finals of 21st tenkaichi budokai began.
Announcer: "For the match that we all have been waiting for! The final match of the 21st tenkaichi budokai will begin! This match will determine who's the champion of our tournament! Now, for both finalists, please come to the stage."
The crowd got excited and started to shout like crazy. After Jackie Chun and Goku reach the stage, they both have a serious look on their faces. Then the announcer said:
Announcer: "Now, the final match of the 21st tenkaichi budokai, begins!!"
When they heard this, both fighters began their assaults. They exchange blows after blows landing on each other. After some time, both fighters backed a little to give space to each other. Then they both cupped their hands and stretched it in front of them then pulled it to their side and started to gather their ki, creating a blue light on their palms. After a while, they stretch their hand back in front of them, creating a blue beam came out of their palms while shouting:
Jackie Chun/Goku: "Kame...hame..haaaa!"
Their beams collided and tried to push each other back. After some time, their beam cancelled out each other, surprising Jackie Chun.
Jackie Chun: 'Wha!! I-impossible! He cancelled my kamehameha on his own!'
After that, they again started their attacks, making their fight last till night. After their long exchange blows, Jackie Chun jumped back then clasped his hands together and started to focus his ki in his hands creating a yellow light. He then stretched his hands in front aiming at Goku, then electricity came out of his palm and hit Goku, making him float to the air while being shocked by the electricity.
When Goku was on the air while being shocked by Jackie Chun's attack, he accidentally looked at the full moon. Then his eyes turned red and his body began to grow big while his body hair grew longer covering his whole body. After a while his transformation was completed, becoming a giant ape.
Vegeta then snorted and said:
Vegeta: "Huh, what a fool."
Bulma and the others, began to panicked:
Yamcha: "O-oh no!! The moon came out! I-it's a full moon!"
Krillin was shocked since it's his first time seeing Goku transform.
Krillin: "Wha-...what...is that?!"
Oolong: "This is bad!!"
Bulma: "V-vegeta, what are we gonna do?! Goku just transformed!"
Vegeta: "Well, the match is not finished yet, let's leave it to his opponent. We will just watch here. If something goes out of hand, I'm still here so don't worry."
After he said that, Bulma calmed down, because she knew how powerful Vegeta is, after all, not anyone can stand in more than 1000x earth's gravity.
Goku then began to wreck everything on the stage. Krillin, seeing his friend putting other people in danger, tried to call some sense to him:
Krillin: "G-goku!! Turn back to normal!! Th-that technique is going to put everyone in danger!!"
Yamcha: "Run, Krillin! It's no use trying to say anything to Goku when he's in this state!!! That isn't a technique!! He turns into a monster whenever he looks at the full moon!!!"
Jackie Chun who was nearby also heard Yamcha and he was shocked to learn that Goku can't turn back to normal on his own. But being a master and veteran in fighting, he immediately composed himself and said:
Jackie Chun: "Which means that there's only one way to solve this problem! I've got no other choice!"
Then he took off his upper clothes and started to focus his ki to his body. After a while, he became buff and looked like an old man who hit the gym 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
Jackie Chun cupped his hands in front of him and pulled it back to his right side. Then the ki started to gather between his palms creating a blue color light out of his hands.
Yamcha, seeing Jackie Chun shouted:
Yamcha: "Oh no!! He's planning to kill Goku! Waaaait!! You don't need to go that far! You just need to cut his tail!!"
But Jackie Chun just ignored him and finished his technique. Then he shot his hands in front while shouting:
Jackie Chun: "Kamehameha! Full power!!"
The beam shot out of his hands, and the beam glowed almost making everyone go blind. After some time, the light dimmed out and the giant ape also disappeared. Then Jackie Chun said with regretful tone:
Jackie Chun: "There was nothing else I could do."
After seeing this, Krillin was panicking and said with a worried look:
Krillin: "G-...Goku!! Where's Goku...?! ...He...he's gone... n-...no way... th-...that's… Whaa!! Goku is dead!!!"
Then the announcer spoke:
Announcer: "Th-this was truly an unexpected conclusion...!! Goku, after turning into a huge monkey and rampaging around, was hit by a massive kamehameha from Jackie...!! a-and then he disappeared...!!"
Yamcha: "Y-...you didn't have to kill him…"
The announcer continue and was about to announced the winner:
Announcer: "...W-with this, the winner of the tenkaichi budokai is..."
Krillin interrupted him, then cried out and shouted:
Krillin: Uwaaaahh!! You murdererrr!!! Give Goku back to uuuuus!!!"
Jackie Chun replied and pointed at the rubble.
Jackie Chun: "Don't get all worked up…Look closely."
Everyone then look at where he was pointing and said:
Yamcha: "Th-that's…!
After seeing the tail, Krillin was relieved and said:
Krillin: "That tail! I-it's Goku!! Goku's butt!!"
Jackie Chun stretched his back and said:
Jackie Chun: "The thing I destroyed with kamehameha wasn't Goku. It's the moon."
Announcer: "Eh? The moon?"
The announcer looked up and saw the moon was gone.
Announcer: "I-it's true! The moon is really gone!!"
Jackie Chun: "Now goku will never turn into a monster after looking at the full moon."
After sometime, Goku woke up from the rubble and said with confusion:
Goku: "Huh? Why am I naked? Oh well."
Then he gets back to his fighting stance while naked.
Seeing this, everyone was relieved then Bulma said:
Bulma: "My heart was beating so fast!"
Announcer: "You see it folks! After what happened, Goku was still ready to fight!"
Before the fight started again, Krillin went to the stage and gave his gi to Goku, leaving himself only the boxer.
Announcer: "Now then, Let's continue the fight!"
Then they began their attacks, they started exchanging blows for a few minutes. After sometime, their kicks landed on each other's face knocking them both to the ground. Jackie Chun was able to get up and Goku also tried but he suddenly fell to the ground falling asleep because of exhaustion.
Announcer: "The winner of the 21 tenkaichi budokai! Jackie Chun!!"
Then the crowd cheered and shouted.
After that, everyone goes their own ways. Yamcha was accepted by Master Roshi to become his disciple after seeing his potential so he went to Kami house with Krillin, Puar, Master Roshi and Oolong. While Goku decided to travel on his own to find his grandfather's four star dragon ball.
-8 months later after the tenkaichi budokai, and two weeks before Frieza's arrival on earth-
In these 8 months, Vegeta still stays to his training routine. Now, he was able to max the gravity chamber's gravity to 1,000x earth's gravity, the total gravity to his body is 60,000x earth's gravity. Because of the gravity chamber's limit to hold high gravity, he was stuck to 60,000x since the gravity chamber can't go higher anymore and his gravity magic was also at its maximum, which cannot go higher than 60x.
With his continuous training, he was able to master the Super Saiyan 2 transformation, giving him a 500x multiplier. The only difference between 'Mastered Super Saiyan' and 'Mastered Super Saiyan 2' except for the multiplier is that the stamina drainage in 'Mastered Super Saiyan 2' decreases by a lot but still remains, unlike the 'Mastered Super Saiyan' which removes the stamina drainage. He can hold his 'Mastered Super Saiyan 2' in a month which is a very long duration if you compare it to the real battle which only took an hour or so continuously without a stop. His power level increased to almost 2 billion.
Nappa and Raditz were able to train in the maximum gravity that the gravity chamber can give. Like Vegeta, they also got stuck to a 1,000x gravity multiplier in the gravity chamber. They were able to increase their power level to over a hundred million but still very far in achieving Super Saiyan 2 since they did not focus much on their transformation and only did their physical training everyday. After seeing Vegeta's power, they think that he was enough to defend against any threats.

-At the same time, in outer space-
You could see a huge circular shaped spaceship traveling at high speed in the vast vacuum of space. Inside the spaceship, you could see Frieza seated in his floating hover pod, then the hatch to his room opened and one of his men ran inside. After kneeling on the side of Frieza, the soldier spoke:
Soldier: "Lord Frieza! I have a report that might interest you!"
Frieza got intrigued by what could be an interesting report other than the monkeys.
Frieza: "Oh? What could it be other than the monkeys in the zoo?"
Soldier: "We gathered some rumors that might be true. The rumors that have been going around say that in a green planet called Namek, there's some kind of orbs that if collected all seven, can grant any wish of your desire."
Frieza: "How intriguing, is this rumor confirmed?"
Soldier: "Not yet, lord Frieza. But it will not hurt us if we change route towards Namek before going to earth to check if the rumors are true."
Frieza place his left fist in the side of his left cheek then narrowed his eyes and said:
Frieza: "Are you ordering me?"
The soldier sweat dropped and said panickingly:
Soldier: "N-no, my lord! Th-this lowly soldier is merely giving you a suggestion. I-it will be beneficial to you as well if it's true."
Frieza: "Hmm? How long will it take if we change direction now towards this green planet?"
Soldier: "Yes, my lord! It will take about a week and a half if we go there now. And from there, it will take another 4 days to reach earth."
(Frieza's ship is much faster than Goku's spaceship, so he will only take 4 days to reach Earth from Namek instead of 6 days.)
Frieza: "Very well."
Then Frieza called for Berryblue and said:
Frieza: "Berryblue, change our destination to Planet Namek. I want to see these wishing orbs."
Berryblue bowed and said:
Berryblue: "Yes, my lord. It will be done."
Then she left the room. The soldier was also about to leave but Frieza stopped him:
Frieza: "You. I don't like your tone when talking to me."
Before the soldier can do anything, Frieza aims his left index finger at the soldier 's head and releases a death beam, killing him on the spot.
-Back to earth-
While Vegeta was eating his food after his tough training, he sensed Frieza's spirit changing direction and said to no one:
Vegeta: "Hmm? Frieza's changing direction? He changes direction towards….Namek? Somehow, he got information about the Namekian's dragon balls. Based on his spaceship's speed, it will take about a week and a half before he reaches there. Anyway, It's a good thing that he chose to go to Namek, we will no longer fight on Earth. I will use this opportunity to become Namekian's savior just like in Yardrat, then I will let Elder Guru unlock my hidden potential."
