Chapter 22: His Bday
"Happy Birthday Ronn " .It was Tara and she was the first to wish him , sharp 12 .00 AM .
Ronn was asleep when she called . Normally no one call him and wish him sharp on his B'day . Even Das just sent greetings on whatsapp .So he wasn't expecting any calls thus he went to sleep early . But Tara surprised him .
"Hey , Thank you Tara . I wasn't expecting this . I thought you were just boasting when you said you'll wish me first .Thanks a lot dear , this means a lot for me ."
Ronn said in a surprised but half asleep voice .Tara giggled from the other side.
"So , may god bless you dear . Take care and Good night ." Tara said feeling sleepy too . She don't like waiting till 12.00 am for anyone's Bday just to wish them .But she loved this wait . Wait to wish Ronn .

Ronn woke up from his sleep hearing knock on the front door .He tried to avoid it and concentrate on sleeping but the knock got louder and he woke up angrily .
"Who the hell is ruining my good Sunday sleep?" He said aloud waking up . His mother have already opened the door by the time he reached the front door . Water was dripping from her long hair and Ronn realised she was in bathroom while the knock started . He peeped out to see the person and saw a middle aged man with a small box in his hands . While the man went back , mom handover ed the box to Ronn and said :
"It's a small gift for you . I have ordered it a few days back for you on your Bday . He stood there surprised and he hugged her .She embraced him and smiled . Ronn opened the small box and found it was a cake with his name written on it . He smiled like a little boy .
"Just have a bath and cone dear , let's cut the cake ." Mom said patting his shoulder . He nodded and went to bath . Suddenly a car came to his home and his uncle got out . He had a little large box with him . He gave it to Ronn and said " Happy Birthday dear " .
"Thank you uncle . Thank you for coming ." Ronn said keeping the gift aside .
"It's not my gift . I can't afford all those big boxes ." Uncle said laughing .
"Then ? " Ronn gave a puzzled look .
"It's from Tara . She asked me to give it directly to you and asked me to wish you .That's when I remembered that it's your Bday today . "
Ronn widened his eyes ." Wait .. What !? Tara send me this gift ?"
"Yeah .Open it ." Uncle said eagerly .
Ronn slowly turned it around and found a note sticker to it . It read :
"Maybe I can't come , but you'll surely find me there ." Ronn smiled . He opened it and found it were his favourite brand's shoes and found another note . It read :
"That's all I could afford this time . But hope I can buy you better next time and I hope you'll like this small gift of mine. "
He smiled ."Surely I love anything you give me Tara . Thank you so much for considering me."
He said to himself and rubbed softly on the shoes .

"Nice shoes " Das said looking at the shoes as soon as he entered . He came to spend time with Ronn on his B'day .
"Those are Tara's gift " Ronn said a bit shy .
"Wow. Those look pretty much expensive .Isn't it ? Ha . She's rich " Das sighed and said .
Ronn grinned . Das handed him a new T-Shirt and wished him . Ronn hugged him .

Das saw Ronn very busy messaging Tara sitting besides him and he teased Ronn . Then suddenly he asked : " I wonder why don't you love her . She will be an asset ."
Ronn gave Das a serious look and continued chatting but he said :
"I think we have discussed this topic many times Das .I have told you my interests , why do you keep pushing me towards Tara ? Why do I want to destroy a good friend ship too ? "
Das sighed and said nothing for a moment and he then continued : " Maybe she'll accept if you propose . I have never seen her chatting or talking much with boys ."
"She love someone Das ."
"Huh!?"
"Ya .She love a boy who is far far better than me . Now please leave the topic here ."
"She love who ?"
"That doesn't bother you right ?"
"Okay well ... "

"Ronn ... " It was Ronn's mother .
"Ya mom ." He woke up from his bed and sat on it and looked her .
"Can I ask you something ?"
"Yeah mom. "
" Is there any problem in the school ? Das have mentioned about a girl . Do you love her ?"
"Ella. That's her name . I do love her mom but , she don't love me back . Trying to close that chapter ."
"Hmm . good . I have heard from him that she insulted you very badly . Listen to me carefully boy , Love is not a crime but love someone who accepts you as you are , not someone who mocks you ."
"Hmm . But it's hard to wipe her off mom .It's my first love ."
"I know what love feels like boy . Choose the right one but , love the girl who loves you back , who cares you . Forgetting some one is not easy .But don't let the same person break your heart twice ."
Ronn listened to her very carefully and he slept on her lap .She patted him dearly and said : " I know I am being bit more dramatic but , love someone like Tara . She's an Angel ."
Ronn looked her with shock .
"I didn't ask you to love Tara . I said someone like Tara , who understand you and care you and never mock you ."
Ronn took a deep breath and hugged her .
