Chapter 1: Chapter 1 - Just let her live her own life!

Seeing the intervention of his older half-brother towards Tohru Honda, Masayuki Honda, a 17-year-old, half-Filipino, half-Japanese teenager, intervened, yelling to them, "Hey! Don't say that to Tohru!" The rest of the family then looked at him in with surprised faces. Then, Masayuki barged into the room and defended Tohru in the very literal way, spreading his two arms apart to protect her. The Honda family, and Kyo and Yuki, who were outside of the house peeking through the window, are surprised to see someone to become a resisting rebel against their will. How can he, a person with different beliefs, philosophy, and principles, do such a brave and quick-thinking thing?

Masayuki Honda is a 17-year-old teenager, whose the father was a Filipino and the mother was a Japanese, and, according to the Chinese zodiac system, he was born in the year of the rooster. He had at least one younger sister named Emiko Honda, a bright, positive girl whose qualities of being worried are similar to Tohru's. His personality can be best described as happy-going, adrenaline-going-up, and positive, always ready to take almost any challenge that is creating an obstacle both in his life and path.

On the other side, he can be stubborn, sarcastic, and persuasive, kept insisting on his thinking, which he considered as right and logical. He can lash out in anger when he gets too annoyed or pissed off, letting out anything that is in his mind, often with ways of chastisement. But, he wouldn't do that to Tohru or to her friends, because he had loved them very much as he did. At this point, he can be tolerant to inappropriate things being said to him, but when it is too much, he can lash out his anger. In general, his sides can trigger depending on his likes and dislikes.

Back at that very afternoon at the Tohru's grandfather's house, which was almost finished to be renovated, Tohru's male cousin was deeply upset by Masayuki's actions, berating him for doing such a rebellious action. But Masayuki was very upset and serious, telling him and the others (except for Tohru herself) with a bold-like voice and a serious, persuasive tone, "Just let her live her own life! She had good friends, and they will take care of her!"

"Oh, come on, Masayuki!" responded his elder half-brother in great upset and criticism. "Don't be such a rebellious person! Do you want to be like your aunt Kyoko?"

But the last part really upsets the black-haired teen who was logical and rational on his thinking. Then, he insisted back to him, "Look, she wasn't entirely like her mother! I knew her and her youth and past. And I went to a conclusion that Tohru was a bit different than her!"

At this point Tohru was a bit confused about Masayuki's defense of her, like a lawyer defending his client in court. Her surprised face really matches Masayuki's seriousness Then, she finally spoke out to him, "What are you doing, Masayuki-kun?" She already knew him and his sister Emiko since elementary, and are very good friends. But, there is a reason why it had happened.

"I'm defending you for your sake!" Masayuki answered her back seriously in a low, but still audible voice. He then looked back at his elder half-brother and insisting on Tohru's life.

"Oh, yeah? If you do that, you'll becoming a disgrace to the family!" he lashed out towards Masayuki. But then, Tohru's grandfather intervened and slapped him in the face, causing almost everyone in the house to be shocked. But Masayuki kept his serious face in spite of that. It seems that he has enough of his own grandson saying some stuff not just to Tohru, but to Masayuki as well.

Then, shortly thereafter, after Tohru's grandfather gave some advice to Tohru, Tohru began to let out her expressions towards the family, while Masayuki encouraged her more and more, often her emotions include sadness and crying. And then, Yuki and Kyo stepped in and offered Tohru to live with them, much to the family's shock, with Yuki doing and saying the offer to her. But however, Masayuki was surprised that those two men knew her, thinking and wondering in his mind, "Woah, who are those two people? Are they Tohru's friends?" These questions will be answered very soon.

Shortly after Kyo dragged Tohru out of the house, Yuki asked the family if Tohru's belongings are upstairs. The family then asked him back about his interference. And after Tohru's male cousin asked him a question, Yuki responded by hitting him in the forehead, and with a stern, cold, intimidating look on his face, told him that he doesn't have the right to call Tohru, "Tohru-chan." And that response and the way he said that, with a cold face, inspired Masayuki to follow his own path and to be a supporter of Tohru and her life.

"Wow, he looks so cool," he commented in his mind. And already, that very scene really gave Masayuki the desire and inspiration that is burning in his heart, like firewood burning bright and hot in a fireplace, or even, in a big bonfire.

I think I am ready to write this fan-fic.

Have some idea about my story? Comment it and let me know.

The reason why I want to write this fan-fic is because I was so upset at Tohru's relatives' treatment of Tohru Honda. So, I want to make a fan-fic character that treats Tohru so nicely and becoming a friend of the Sohma family.
