Chapter 34: I won't help you
Still feeling very annoyed when Axel always does what she wants and swayed his feelings. Zelyn tilted her body towards the man. You can see the figure of a man with a handsome face is engrossed in looking at the road that is passed through the opened car window. The scorching sunlight did not seem to stop the man from looking at the city area which is a favorite tourist destination for foreign and local tourists.
Axel's face looks like a perfect sculpture, the most beautiful masterpiece of God's creation. Zelyn couldn't deny that when he didn't blink at that handsome, cool and masculine face.
"This man can actually make the hearts of all women in this world bloom and heartbreak with his very cold attitude. Moreover, he really likes to play with women's feelings and only thinks that women are slaves to his lust. I pray that this bastard mafia gets hit karma from his actions," Zelyn thought in his heart.
"Don't keep looking at me like that, Arzelyn Selena. I can't be held responsible if you fall in love with me later." Axel spoke without looking at Zelyn's face because he really wanted to irritate her even more.
"One bunny is already walking towards the trap I set, just waiting for it to get in there and I will soon enjoy it for my meal. This time, my toy is a very sweet little bunny."
After deep muttering in his heart, Axel turned his head to look at the reaction of the woman's face which was already red from holding back anger. "Relax, sweetie. Don't like to frown and hold your anger inside like that, because you'll look older and less attractive anymore."
Still with a sour face and pursed lips in annoyance, Zelyn who originally wanted to talk about prophecy, finally chose to forget all the things that he thought were very ridiculous and affected his mind. By choosing not to say anything, Zelyn sat back down facing the front. However, she was startled when suddenly his left hand was grabbed by Axel and when she wanted to pull it, she couldn't because his fingers were holding it with the man's strong books.
She could see that Axel was looking down at his palms and she could be sure he was observing the lines of his hands to make fortune-telling like earlier on the plane. Zelyn chose to remain silent because that was what she wanted to know, namely about his future with Ardhan. The first man who made her want to give up her whole life by being a good wife and giving birth to cute children and living happy days like her dreams.
Meanwhile, Axel is now pretending to be very serious when he sees the line of a woman who just stays silent and no longer refuses her actions.
"If there was a film director here, maybe I would immediately qualify as an artist because I really animate my role in acting," Axel thought, who was holding back from laughing at the stupidity of the woman who had fallen into his trap.
"Are you ready to accept all the bad facts that might make you unable to sleep well, Arzelyn Selena?"
Zelyn's heart suddenly beat faster and she didn't forget to swallow his saliva roughly when his voice caught in his throat. Currently, he is haunted by curiosity, fear and worry. Actually she didn't want to know bad things that might just be nonsense, but his curiosity was so great, he couldn't get rid of the things she wanted to know.
"Just say it, Mr. Axel. I just want to know how far your ability can predict. So don't misunderstand that I will be influenced by your words. Because everything will happen with the permission of the God who created the universe and we are actually just actors who move according to with what is set by the director, which is God who has more power over all."
Axel just smirked seeing all the anxiety, as well as a lie from the woman who seemed to be pretending to be strong.
"So, you think like that? Well, let's just say that my predictions are just a thing of the past and won't have a big impact on your life." Axel stopped his speech because his index finger was currently touching Zelyn's line.
"Soon, Ardhan will come to Bali because he really misses you"
A wide smile appeared on Zelyn's face when she heard Axel's words. At first she felt uncomfortable when the man traced his hand line, but as soon as she heard the words that escaped those thick lips, she seemed to forget his annoyance.
"Of course, because Ardhan really loves me and will miss me a lot when we haven't seen him in a long time."
Axel just smirked seeing the happy expression on Zelyn's face. "Shut up and don't interrupt me, because I haven't finished speaking yet. You'll regret smiling with that face."
Now, Zelyn's heart was beating very fast when she heard the last sentence from Axel who was still tracing his palm. It was as if Axel's words were a slap in the face for him for daring to misinterpret the prophecy. Finally she chose to be silent and no longer made a sound because she was focused on staring at Axel.
"A big tragedy will happen to you and make Ardhan immediately cut off your relationship. Even your name will be removed from the prospective bride to be a former groom because the woman Ardhan will marry is not Arzelyn Selena, but another woman who is not far from around you."
Zelyn, who was very surprised when she never expected to hear the harshest and most ridiculous truth she had ever heard. Now, anxiety, fear and worry have overtaken him and make even sitting uncomfortable.
"W-what do you mean? Ardhan will marry another woman? What kind of tragedy will happen? Is he having an affair with a woman? Please tell me everything, Mr. Axel. So that I can stop the tragedy. Can't fortune tellers change everything? that hasn't happened with an effort? Tell me, what should I do to stop a tragedy that I don't know about."
With his index finger pressed against Zelyn's line, Axel looked at the woman's brown eyes with anxiety. "It wasn't Ardhan who had an affair, Zelyn. However, you were the one who cheated on Ardhan behind your back."
Silly words that she thought didn't make sense, reflex made Zelyn laugh out loud and immediately withdrew his hand which was still being held by Axel.
"Gosh! This really is ridiculous." She patted his forehead many times, "You idiot, you Zelyn." Satisfied cursing his stupidity, Zelyn looked at the handsome face that looks like it usually does.
"Forget about what I said earlier that told you to make fortune-telling. Now I feel certain that my predictions are just bullshit!"
Axel grabbed Zelyn's cell phone in his trouser pocket and returned it to his hand with his curly fingers.
"You'll be swallowing your own saliva when you see Ardhan's wedding. We'll see which one of us is being ridiculous. Now be content to stare at your lover's photo, because soon, you don't have the right to look at him!"
"I will never help you when that man fucks you, you stupid woman!" thought Axel who had turned his face away from Zelyn.
