"Does the earring hurt, Golbat?" I asked him while observing his body. His color returned to the previous color that he has.
Golbat screeched then flapped his wings energetically. It looks like he wasn't hurt that much from his reaction.
"Great then from now on, I'll let you out like we always do. This earring is sure convenient to have." I said then Golbat screeched loudly while flapping his wings excitedly.
"Alright, let's rest for the night then we'll continue our journey towards the clan tomorrow." I told the group then we prepared to sleep.

Days passed, and soon we arrived at the gate of the clan. It was an easy journey since Golbat was making sure we don't encounter any pokemon.
After arriving at the clan, we are immediately led to the front office. The clan wanted to check my items, and even the pokemon that I currently have. They also took the promised 10,000 kanto dollars that needs to be returned.
I already have no more money since I made sure to only save 10,000 kanto dollars for the clan, and I was glad I did. The clan actually has a plan to take 10,000 kanto dollars from me along with 10 percent of my remaing money. They say it's for offering to the clan. What a scam!
Thankfully, they didn't have any interest with my other items like the Firestone. They didn't take anything else except for the money making me relieved.
After they are done checking, they let us go but I didn't leave yet since I plan to register Liz as my personal maid next.
"I want to register Liz as my personal maid." I told the to the clan registrar.
"Please state your name, rank, and the maid's name. Also, please show the emblem you have to give further proof that you are an Advance Member of the clan." The clan registrar replied.
I answered her questions then gave her the emblem that I have. She took it then started writing on her paper. I waited for a few minutes before she finished writing.
"Alright, it's done. Please come back after a day. We'll be giving the maid emblem for your maid as a sign that she is tied to you starting from now on." The clan registrar said.
"Okay, thank you." I told her then left the place together with Liz and my pokemon.
"My place is small, Liz. I don't know if you'll like staying in my place. You should go stay at the maid's dormitory for now. You can go stay at my place once I go to my trials though. I won't mind." I told her.
The clan is not generous to give free new houses for the clan members since we have to pay money for them to make it. I don't plan to pay for one though since I won't be staying in the clan always.
"It's fine, master." Liz replied.
"Then let's meet up tomorrow. Let's rest for now then we'll go to Grandma Moi's place tomorrow." I told her. She nodded then we parted ways.
I returned to my old room, and saw the place being dark and full of dust.
"Golbat, go inside first. Then remove the dust inside the room by summoning some winds with your wings." I ordered Golbat to which the guy did. Golbat went inside the room then started making the dust go outside the room.
After a couple of minutes, Golbat returned but he was full of dust making me chuckle along with Beedrill making sounds that looks like her laught.
Golbat looked at us angrily then screeched loudly. He then gave me a look as if telling me that it was all my fault.
"Sorry for making you do that, Golbat. Let's go inside then take a bath together. I'll make sure to clean both of you up. I'll even add a massage for the both of you as a bonus." I told to both of them. Golbat was pacified with that, and even Beedrill was flying around me in circles.

The day passed like that with me just relaxing along with my pokemon. The trials will be starting 3 weeks from now. Next week, will also be my birthday and I'll turn 5 years old by then. I won't do anything particular with my birthday though but instead just let my pokemon train. There is nothing to celebrate anyway, and it's just a normal day for me.
A knock came out of my door making me stop from my thoughts.
"Master, it's Liz. I'm here as we have planned."
"Alright, I'll go out just wait for a bit." I replied then looked at my outfit. I was wearing just a plain shirt, shorts, gloves, and shoes. I didn't wore my outfit when I started my journey since the clan already knows what I look. I feel like I removed something heavy from me when I don't wear my mask anymore.
I went outside, and soon saw Liz. She is wearing the same outfit that she has. I gave her my morning greetings while she also did the same after.
"Let's go to the clan registrar first to get your maid emblem before we go to Grandma Moi's place." I told her.
She nodded then we walked towards the clan registrar. When we arrived, I talked to the registrar then received the maid emblem for Liz.
"Before you go, I'm going to explain your responsibility as the master of a personal maid." The clan registrar said, and I just nodded.
"Being a master of a personal maid makes you responsible for her. The clan will be giving her regular meals, clothing, and some protection. But it is also your choice if you plan to feed her yourself. Also, the clan is making you free to decide if the personal maid of yours can train pokemon or not. It's up to you as her master, and the clan won't hinder you." The clan registrar explains.
"Also, if your maid makes a mistake or problem that might harm the clan then you'll be the one responsible for it. You'll be receiving the punishment that the personal maid should have. That's all the rules in having a personal maid. You may go now." The clan registrar continues.
"Thank you for the information." I said then left the the clan's front office after.
