Chapter 4: Chapter 4

Amelia Pov of View:

It was the same boy from the park who was standing in front of our classroom earlier. I was surprised to know that he was a new student at this school. He went up to the front and introduced himself.

"You can seat close to the female near it in the back." Ms. Irish said something, and I noticed an empty seat next to me. He was going to replace it when our gazes locked. Now that our gazes have collided, I'm feeling strange. He's finally taken a seat next to me.

When Mrs. Irish began to talk, I adjusted my seat and turned to face her. And I pretended I didn't recognize the person next to me, which is accurate because I only saw him once.

"You again"

Even though I couldn't see who was speaking next to me, I knew who it was. I ignored him and focused on Ms. Irish, who was speaking in the foreground.

"You can take notes on what I'll say, and I'd like to hear your comments on Monday."

I looked over at the individual next to me, who was currently closing his eyes, and he didn't appear to be paying attention to what was being pointed out in front of him. Because the class will be brief, it will end within a few minutes.

Ms. Irish has begun to tidy up her belongings, signaling the end of class. "Okay, everybody. That concludes today's discussion. I hope you gained some knowledge today. On Monday, I'll see you."

"Yes," said the new student sitting next to me. He stood up and took his bag, while I stowed my items in the bag and stood up holding my few books. I noticed that he was going to leave the room, but he saw a line forming outside and returned to the back. He seemed to be annoyed.

Because there were only a few pupils in the room, I also went to the door to exit and exited instantly. Because I would be waiting for my father in the waiting room, I moved to the left of the hallway. When I went outside the building, I sensed that someone was following me, so I turned around and saw the boy who was a new student.

"Are you following me?" I asked, turning to face him. "Are you following— No, I did not follow you; there is also a way for me."

Maybe I was simply guessing when he stated that. I ignored him and turned around to continue walking till I was close to the waiting area, but as I looked behind me again, I sensed that someone was following me. he was a new student once more, but this time he abruptly changed his position. I walked until I reached the waiting room and sat down, ignoring him once more.

I noticed that the boy was at the table next to me. What's the matter with him? After a few minutes, I saw my father near the school entrance and got up to approach him. When I approached him, I saw he was accompanied by a man who appeared to be his age. I sensed that someone was following me once more, but this time I confronted him.

"What's the matter with you, you constantly follow me!" I just said, and he stared at me. I was referring to a new student I saw in the park.

"Darling, what's the matter?" My father inquired.

I pointed to the man in front of me and said, "That boy is always following me."

"Ahh, he's the ---," says the narrator.

"Father!" we looked as he approached my father's companion earlier.

Is that his father?

My father said, "Darling, he's my friend's son," referring to the two people in front of us.

"She must be your daughter; I apologize for my son; perhaps you misinterpreted the situation." according to his father and I'm also embarrassed.

"I'm sorry, I mistook you for a follower," I explained to the new student.

He answered, "It's fine."

"Darling, this is my long-time friend Frank Alfonso, and this is his son Arthur," my father said. "Frank, this is Amelia dianna Walter, my daughter. She was the only child I had." They were introduced to me by my father. And yes, I am the owner of this school's daughter.

"Your daughter is lovely," said the father's acquaintance happily.

"Arthur... arthur james alfonso,"  I took a quick glance at the new student when he extended his hand to me. I said, "Amelia dianna Walter," and extended my hand to her. "I apologise for what occurred earlier." Because I'm pretty shy, I added that I thought he was following me, but it turned out that we were both heading in the same way.

With a smile on his face, he said, "It's okay."

"If you wish, I'd want to invite you two to our Sunday church tomorrow," papa said, and we glanced at him.

Mr. Alfanso merely laughed and replied, "Yes certainly, but my kid doesn't go to such things, maybe I'll be the one to go." Arthur abruptly responded to his father, "No, dad, I loved to, I'm in for tomorrow."

"That's great; I'll see you tomorrow." They nodded as my father spoke. Then we bid our goodbyes to one another. My father helped me to our car, and I noticed Arthur's car driving away.
