Synopsis

This is an octopus tale. An octopus represents our ability to overcome challenging situations with creativity and intelligence. Such is our team of octopuses as well. Artemis, Audrey, Belle, Baker, and Misty stumble upon a hidden underground laboratory in the quiet town of Havenwood, revealing the startling secret to eternal life.
Driven by curiosity and the allure of eternal life, they drink it, unknowingly unleashing an ancient curse that threatens to erase the town and the people's existence.
As darkness descends upon Havenwood, they must embark on a perilous quest, seeking redemption and a way to break the curse.
With the town teetering on the edge of destruction, they discover the actual value of mortality and the power of selflessness.
Will they find a way to restore balance and save themselves from the curse they unleashed, or will Havenwood be forever lost to the shadows?
"The Forbidden Elixir" is a gripping tale of friendship, sacrifice, and the profound lessons learned when tampering with the natural cycle of life.
A chapter is released every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, so 3 chapters every week.

The narration is very vivid and engaging! Conversation with the characters are interesting and the story will really hook the reader to read more. The writing is top-notch! I didn't find any huge mistake plus the grammar is good^^This is a good story!

The story is thrilling enough for you to keep reading it until you notice that there are no chapters left. I hope there was more to it, really. I liked the characters, especially the siblings and their relationship. The descriptions were also detailed. Overall, this is definitely a good read
The story is really special, it has mystery and horror parts in it. The characters are well-written, each with unique personalities, a few small errors but nothing major. All in all, it's an enjoyable and captivating read.
I like it, the mc gives off 'curious but I'm undergoing puberty' vibes. Hope the brother endures her for a while hehe, it's a great story the sibling dynamic is good. Hope to see moreee.

I'm participating in the August 2023 WPC and am thrilled to let you readers decide on my fate :) , and if you do want to support me just add me to your collection, because you know, creation is hard work. The concept is 'eternal life' but I like to think that my version breathes new life into this concept, and I love always exploring new things. Although trying new things out of the trend is sort of a gamble, I love doing things my way, hopefully, it checks out in the end. The characters and the plot are the backbone of this story, but the development and the worldbackground will also be given equal importance. I read the first few chapters, and this seems interesting. The mansion kinda reminded me of the Red House in toilet bound hanako kun, idk why.
This was a really good read. At first I thought author dropped it. This is too good to drop. Then I saw that author is on a break. I'll definitely come back to read it on July.
Read all of the eight chapters and can say author is improving his craft, also the book has a lot of potential along with having an interesting plotline. Some parts fill scary. Now the negative some parts feel stiff like conversation and description. Don't fit many words in one paragraph try give space. Improve on the conversation and pacing. No hate just kept the opinion since you want to improve. I really think this novel has potential and I wholeheartedly recommend.
