Chapter 42: Questions
Lucas was roaming around the streets for so long now and his mind was all over the place that suddenly where did Amelia go? did she leave from there on her own? but a sudden thought also popped in his mind as he remembered the mess in his house
"Did someone kidnap her?"
"Where did that Alien go??!"
Lucas was here talking to himself not knowing what to do as Alexander was also about to appear at any time. Going back towards his house he hoped once again that maybe this time he would see Amelia back at home
Reaching his house he met no one but silence once again, closing his eyes in annoyance
"Why did I even leave her alone here when I know she is crazy!!"
Before the meeting, Amelia Lucas didn't have this habit of talking to her self and when he saw Amelia doing that he always find it wired but here today he was talking to himself
All this time that he spend and lived with Amelia made him adopt her habit
Walking towards a couch he sat down closing his eyes and let out a deep sigh as he was so tired, he has lost all of his energy at this point,
This was the cause of him finding Amelia since morning, he didn't even have his breakfast and was just roaming on different streets to find her but all of that was no use
Not knowing when he felt his eyes heavy and sitting in the same position he fall asleep
Whereas Alexander and Dom were still on their way to Lucas's house
"How long it's gonna take?"
"Almost One hour"
The location was so far as that it's still gonna take them almost one hour to get there
"I always had a question in my mind"
"About what?"
Dom frowned his eyebrows as he had a question in his mind all this time which he didn't ask but right now he suddenly spoke while Alexander replied looking at the road while his hand on the steering wheel as he continues to drive
"Lucas! when did he become your friend? how come i've never known about him?"
Alexander let out a chuckle hearing Dom's question as Alexander knew he didn't tell anyone about Lucas, and how he became friends with him.
"Why do you want to know this?"
"Not too important but just wanted to know as I know you don't really trust someone that easily and that much!"
Alexander asked making a thinking face, he looked in a good mood while Dom again asked making it look like he didn't really care which was true he did not care but the only thing which was making him think about it was Alexander trusting Lucas more than anything
Whereas Alexander also got his point as he was damn right that Alexander doesn't really trust anyone but just some people and one of them was Dom and here Alexander was trusting someone he didn't know long before but just from a few months ago
"You're right here! I don't really trust people but I have a reason for trusting Lucas!"
Nodding his head Alexander spoke with seriousness showing in his voice and he didn't have a high reason for trusting Lucas, he didn't know how but the first day he met him that was the day Alexander felt him genuine
Not only that Lucas did help Alexander a lot in Amelia's matter until now and that made Alexander trust him more
Alexander said he had a reason for trusting Lucas and that reason was something Dom wanted to know.
Being a private investigator Dom had a thing of being suspicious with everything, he thinks everything professionally and here in Lucas's case Dom again had some doubts about him
What if he betrays Alexander here and what if he was also playing or involved with someone else
Everywhere here and there, there were a lot of people thinking of them as the mastermind of this game and Lucas could be one of them
You never know what's going on inside a person's head, They may look like victims but actually could be the criminals
"And I want to know the reason for trusting him!"
Hearing Alexander saying that he had a reason Dom thought for a while as it was silent for some time until Dom broke it again and spoke, saying something which made Alexander turn his head towards Dom as he gazes at him with his raised eyebrows
It was something that Alexander didn't know if he should hear or not. what Dom asked made Alexander go into his deep thoughts as he remembered everything and every scene from before
Their friendship wasn't too old but only six months ago when Alexander came back from the states
It was All because of Lucas's sister's daughter, it was a long story that their trust in each other yet their friendship was all because of her.

A Man Came out of the airport standing all alone as he runs his sights everywhere, everything seemed a lot different than before as he was back after 6 years, 6 years was a long period, he has been away from his home town, from his family, from his friends and everyone
Wearing a black tuxedo with black shades hiding his gray eyes and it was none other than Alexander Liam, he looked a lot different than before
Standing there for some time as he waited for his car to arrive and not after too long a black car pulled up in front of him, it seemed as if the car stopped for him? Alexander took some steps near the car and knocked on the window to confirm if it was his car or not
Knocking on the window he stood straight watching the window pulling down as bending down a little he saw someone sitting on the driving seat wearing the driver's cap but it was his driver but someone familiar
His lips curved upwards to see the person
"Good morning Sir! I'm here to pick you up"
"Really?"
