Chapter 4: Chapter 4. Emile's long lost brother
Diablo's POV
After returning with the boar meat Diablo seen Rem and Shera has already ate, apparently that nice made Siesta brought them some leftovers from the kitchen, their was even enough food for Diablo, but he was already full from his meal with Tiffa
"Finally your back, you disobedient familiar." Louise
"Rem, who is this annoying pest in the room ?" Diablo said perfectly aware of who Louise
"Don't act like you don't remember me, I'm your master !" Louise exclaimed, angry at having her pride hurt
Rem chose to ignore them
While Diablo was away, her and Louise reintroduced themselves and explain each others circumstances.....well everything except giving birth to the demon lord Krebskulm and most of their adventures
because even with trust Louise is still a noble
(A/N)(I'm not gonna bother writing the Louise and Rem conversation)
Under normal circumstances she would tell Diablo that he needs to try to get along with Louise since we're in a foreign world, but she knew Diablo already knew that, and it would be pointless anyways trying to get Diablo to change.
After Shera yawned, everyone decided they would go to sleep, Louise on the bed the other three on hay
Scene break
In the morning when they all got Shera asked about Louise having to go to class
Louise explained the day after the ritual the school takes a day off to bond with their familiars
Us four relocated to the school yard and talked casually to amongst themselves (except for Diablo)
Diablo went to the bathroom, upon coming back not even all the way back
he heard slap resounded through the courtyard and everyone turned to look at Guiche's table, where he along with a teary-eyes Montomercy and equality teary-eyes first year girl were looking at a kneeling maid, holding her reddening cheek.
"How dare you make these ladies cry, you peasant. I should have you wiped !" He proceeded to take a second swing at her cheek before a hand enclose around his.
"That is enough you pathetic worm." Diablo
"You mere commoner you dare meddle in the affairs of a noble." Guiche
"Weak imbecile, your squabbling has irritated my ears." Diablo
" You question my strength as a noble! I hereby challenge you to a duel!" Guiche
" I accept." Diablo
" Be at the Vesti court in 10 minutes, or I will considered you forfeited!" were Guiche's final words, before storming off.
(This guy is like Emile's younger, even dumber brother,with a zipper problem)
"You there, are you fine." Diablo
"Yes, thank you sir, but that was not necessary. I simply got you into trouble. I am sorry" Siesta said, while bowing to him
Turning to a boy who witnessed the argument
"You there, where is the vesti Court." Diablo
the boy quickly pointed it's general direction and as Diablo began moving towards it, the whole crowd followed.
Louise POV
" Have you heard Guiche and that commoner with the horns are having a duel." a random guy walking past
All of a sudden buzz and rumors circulated about Diablo and Guiche having a duel
(Oh no, there's no way a commoner could beat a noble)
"This isn't good." Rem with worry in her voice
"I know your husband is going to get killed if we don't stop him." Louise said also with worry
"It's not Diablo you should worry about Louise." Rem said matter of factly
"Diablo's probably gonna overdo it on that Guiche guy if we don't hurry." Shera said with concern for Guiche
(What do these two mean, surely they don't believe a commoner could ever beat a noble do they ?)
3rd person's POV
As I walked up to the vesti Court the blonde womanizing idiot started talking
"I commend you for showing up, but this will be the last time I ask you to get on your knees, and beg for forgiveness." Guiche
"A weakling like you think you could make me beg, hahaha." Diablo
"I feel sorry for him, he probably doesn't even know Guiche is apart of the royal knights." bystander 1
" Teach that commoner a lesson." bystander 2
Louise, Rem, and Shera showed right at the start of the duel
As Louise was about to stop Diablo, Zerbst showed up
"Oh my, looks like your familiar is about to get into a scuffle, well it would be a good chance for him to learn his limits now that he's here." Zerbst
"Shut up, he'll be fine I'm gonna stop them."
Louise
"Well looks like it's too late." Zerbst
As if on que Guiche growls and says
"Let the duel begin." Saying that he pulls out his Rose wand "I summon Rock golems."
Six human sized and shaped golems formed from the ground
Then much to all the onlookers surprise Diablo reaches into his pouch and pulls out a long black staff with a crystal on top
"Where did he suddenly get a staff from." someone shouted
"Is he a noble ?" Louise
"WHAT" Guiche
Diablo clearly heard Louise
"HA HA HA, you think I'm a noble little girl, ha ha I'm better than any noble, IM A DEMON LORD FROM A DIFFERENT WORLD."
From that point on things escalate incredibly quickly
Pointing his staff at Guiche,
Guiche snaps out of his shock and order his golems to attack but it was already over
Diablo's POV
(I'm going to show this arrogant since whose the better Earth mage)
After the fool says attack I raise my staff in the air and create 6 fist size rocks one for each golem
Bringing the staff back down I launch the rocks.
The rocks not only peirce the bodies of the golems, the rocks completely rip and destroys the golems and leaves man sized craters in the ground
"Im... Imposs-- ?" Says Guiche as the color drains from his face the hand on his wand starts to shake, realizing what situation he got himself into
Seeing this fear I kick the ground before he could even finish a word, appearing right in front of him and lightly slap him, sending him flying several yards over onto the ground
"How did he move so fast ?" said someone in the crowd
As I slowly walked up to the blonde weasle which ironically is his familiar I point my staff at him again
"I yield, please spare me." Guiche
"Tell me, have you learned your place, plebian ?" Diablo
"Yes I swear" Guiche said while covered in dirt, grass stains, and sweat
(Man, he is bruised all over, that was one helluva slapI gave him.)
"Hmph, go apologize and bow your head to the maid and I'll let you off with only this much this time." Diablo
"Yessir" Said Guiche as he ran off
Afterwards
Running up to him teary eyed, Louise actual looked worried
"Idiot what if he had hurt you." Louise
"You think a weakling like that stands any chance against me child." Diablo
"I'm not a child !" Louise
(A tsundere, how troublesome I can't wait to get back to our world)
"Yay Diablo wins again." Shera
"Did you really have to yell out about being from another world ?" Sighed REM, who knew he had to because he was used to it
