Chapter 14: Friends are for life!
It was a nerve-wracking moment, for everyone stood there behind the computer screen, keenly locating the GPS location of a device.
"Krith!! Bring a C-type USB!!!" Reay shouted even Tho Krith is in front of her.
"Here it is!"
Reay connected Armelle's mobile with his laptop with the cable krith gave to him. Reay is quite good with computers since his hobby depends on that.

It is a beautiful day for them from the morning - playing, bickering, and bantering. Who knows everything could turn upside down in a matter of seconds.
*a Few minutes back*
Everyone was stressed and afraid that the sea which they are riding is known for killer sharks, stonefish, many deadly poisonous fishes, and other organisms for its deadly nature.
The corals' lagoons are not so deep but filled with many life-threatening species, which made every minute hard for her to survive.
It was past afternoon when the cyclone has fully gone and the sea was in peace. Like, calm after a storm.
Everyone climbed upstairs to witness the calmness of the dual-natured violent sea.
It was over a couple of hours after Krith was put to sleep using a tranquilizer due to her phobia of Thunder. Suddenly a loud bang noise echoed from downstairs, making everyone panic and rush down to the basement cabin. Krith woke up from her hours of sleep, at last when she woke up she was so much confused that what happened previously.
Drey and Reay who rushed down to the cabin first witnessed her just like a hungover person, holding her head, grabbing her hair tight hurting herself confused about what is happening around her. Not so long others joined them downstairs; Noel brought her some juice and water since she looked so pale and feeble. It did take a while for her to relax and compose herself, it is when she noted that her sloth is missing. It was so strange for her since her friend would never do that.
Everyone was so confused looking at each other's faces, not knowing what to be done at the moment. They witnessed her searching for Armelle but no one dared to open their mouths to talk. It was Drey who took the initiative to open the matter of fact to Krith. Since the truth cannot be concealed and they were worried about the aftermath of Krith learning the truth.
Krith was devasted after knowing Armelle has gone missing in the wild blue, and she has not been located yet. She knew her friend's excellency in swimming, whatsoever she knew it was not so an easy task to swim against the giant waves which are formed one after the other in the whirling wind.
She was so much worried and guilty, repeating the words of regret over again and again in an invisible voice as she broke into tears. She promised Zaike that she would take care of her friends well knowing their situation well. But it was so sudden. They have sailed over the sea a dozen times. But this is the first time they had undergone something life-threatening.
She completely lost her sanity. Her heart pounded loudly thinking about the possible dangers her friend might go through. She couldn't compose herself; it is when the watch she is wearing beeped. It denoted the abnormal heart rate.
"I have seen Armelle wearing one such watch!!" Zyaire voiced in an elated tone. He got some hopes up for a moment when he saw the watch of Krith.
It was a limited model tailored for the Sloth-Panda siblings by the famous watch-making brand. It has unique features contemporary to the watches in the market. One of its features is locating. Since Krith would go into hibernation often, Armelle asked the watchmaker to attach a GPS that can track people even when they were outside the normal network coverage. *That means now we can find our sloth🤩🤩*
Krith didn't reply to Zyaire's question but suddenly composed herself and stood up to search for something.
She grabbed Armelle's bag from the cupboard and started to throw things out from her bag searching for a certain thing. They understood that she was searching for something which belongs to Armelle.
"Krith what are you doing?" Drey shouted as he couldn't wait.
She doesn't want to give up on her friend, she couldn't even bear to think of those possibilities. She vowed to make her friend come back home safely. As it is the only possible positive thought for her. When she remembered the watch that Armelle is wearing she got her hopes back on finding her friend.
She woke up from the resting seat, searching for Armelle's mobile. She searched everywhere but couldn't find it. She was so determined to find her friend but it was not possible without Armelle's mobile phone. She was so much into the thought when she felt a hand over her shoulder.
It was Drey. He took her shoulder to make her turn around. He was exasperated. He halted as his gaze locked on the sobbing girl right in front of him. She was whimpering, her eyes were swollen and red with a few drops of tears holding onto the corner of her eyes.
Krith doesn't want to lose any more energy by crying, she tried not to spill any more tears but failed.
Drey couldn't show his emotions as he looked at the devasted girl in front of him. He couldn't utter a word either to scold or to comfort her. Rather he took the slender body into his embrace to comfort her.
She didn't utter a word but followed him to his embrace.
Drey couldn't bear seeing her in that shattered state. It's the last thing he ever wished for his loved one. *Is she his secret crush??😲*
He patted her shoulder to comfort her between her little sobs. Meanwhile, Krith released herself from his embrace and noticed Armelle's phone in the corner of the cupboard shelf.
"It's not your fault Krith. Don't blame yourself for this. What is meant to happen will happen for sure. YOU or ME cannot change fate. We need to find her ALIVE. So, put your trust in God and stop being like this. Please!" Drey spoke in a low tone meanwhile the entire circus is waiting for them to speak.
"I have a way to find her" Krith spoke releasing herself from his embrace, making everyone elated. Although they don't know what was Krith's plan. She could have found her mobile phone by dialing her number, but unfortunately, mobile signals will not be strong over the sea.
"Here!! I found it!! We can trace Armelle's location with the help of this" Krith cried in ecstasy. She felt like she was one step ahead to help find her friend. Everyone got back their lost hope with Krith's words.
"What do you mean, Krith? How can we find her using her mobile?" Zyaire questioned krith.
"Zyaire you got your answers already. Of course, her phone and smartwatch must have been connected. Isn't that right, Krith?" Noel spoke.
Reay who got the situation explained to Zyaire about Krith's thoughts.
"So, you say that we can use her mobile to locate her Smartwatch GPS?" Reay said as he was thinking about the ways to find using the mobile and smart-watch.
Krith nodded her head in agreement with Reay.
"But we can't get to locate the signals over the sea?" Noel questioned.
"I have a way. Let me bring my laptop" Reay answered.
Reay brought his laptop out from his bag from the cupboard. Thanks to the water-proof cupboard the water didn't wet their things.
"Give me her mobile!" Reay asked and took Armelle's mobile from Krith's hand.
He connected that mobile phone to his laptop using a USB cable. And he opened up a certain application on his laptop.
Everyone stayed assured that they could locate her very soon alive and in one piece.
