Introduction Chapter

In a caged town called Peruth in the Realm of Tavia, a place between the waters that was just like the one once known. An earth of land between great forces of triangular water, lived a family.

Unlike other families, this union included many differences, The caretaker or mother in this case, Mrs. Honey, a thirty nine year old sweetheart who opened her home to children, twins of the age of five, a boy and the other a girl who are fairly skinned, a white complexion and adorable handsome. Two Negro siblings; a nine year old girl and a seven year old boy. These two were chubby , cute and very intelligent. A 13 year old girl of light complexion, black silky hair, pink cheeks, tall, extremely intelligent but doubtful at heart. And the eldest, a sixteen year old angelic figure, peachy in her gifts and talents , a people pleaser and respectful child. I say she had a heart of gold, rare to find and she always did what she thought was right. Blessed to live with six angels, Mrs. Honey was the happiest beauty in town though her husband had died two years after she had got married to him, she didn't mind taking care of her late best friend's children Mariah and Kelsey. Mariah Welch was the mother to the two negro siblings, Mercy and Stuart. She had died two years ago of Leukemia, she used to help Honey take care of their friend Kelsey's twins who she had given birth too before she died of too much bleeding in the hospital. She really was a heart break to everyone who heard about her demise. Her husband Lucus Brewer had named the girls Lucy and Lucia. Lucy having more golden hair than her sister Lucia who was fairly blond. He went back to the army that very year his wife died. I guess he couldn't take it. He died last year in a war, at most that is what the later from the commission stated. There was no proper burial for him because not even a piece of him returned. What a pity ! The two older girls, Millan a very adventurous thirteen year old and Marcel, the big sister and second mother to the siblings respectively were nieces to Mrs. Catherine Honey whose maiden name was Miller before she got married to Mr. Goshen Honey. These two girls were daughters to Catherine's brother Denis Miller who just gave them to her one cold, misterious night and he has never been seen since then. Marcel was five years when he left and she has since seen how all the rest came up to be in that house. This household survived on their restaurant " The Folks Munch House" And the name was no lie. It was the busiest restaurant in town with the most tasty dishes that you could have ever tasted in your whole life. To the town folks, this restaurant felt like their grandma's kitchen and dining table. It was just in their backyard a big former storage house that belonged to Mr. Honey furnished with a hundred tables and wooden chairs, a kitchen on the front right corner, the reception or ordering desk right infront of the kitchen. This place looked like a wooden palace, with shinny clean wood, flat clean floors of hazel nut tree wood and swings at the back for the kids. Marcel and Millan were the waitresses, Mercy and Stuart cleaned the place with some help of course and Lucy and Lucia were the patrolmen at the swing area. Mrs. Honey the chef and Mrs. Naomi Bunch baked the pastries. Naomi was a darling aunt to these children. She loved them and they loved her. She had been part of Mrs. Honey, Mariah and Kelsey's four girl gang of the best of friends any elder could tell you that. Naomi was married to Polycarp Bunch, a police officer in town and has a jolly bouncing six month year old baby boy. Not forgetting how this family loves Jesus and go to church every Sunday then return back home to a blue and brown painted two storeyed house with a lot of flowers on the front porch, a swing and string lights across the two front pillars. Ahhh! sighed the cold crippled woman. " What a beautiful story ! she exclaimed. I smiled at Mrs. Goldly with such a bright spark in my eyes with amusement. " Is that the most beautiful story you know, Mrs. Goldly ? " I asked. " Indeed it is, the story of your home and family, it's the most beautiful i have ever told and seen with my own eyes," she replied. Well Mrs. Goldly it's getting late and I have to go help Aunt Honey prepare dinner, have a beautiful evening and enjoy the muffins.
