Chapter 13: The Aftermath
Alex sat down on Ruby's bed he wiped off his sweat and got up he looked at Ruby and asked.
Alex: "Hey are you alright?"
Ruby: "Y-yeah."
Alex: "Hey do you want to get stronger."
Ruby: "What do you mean?"
Alex: "Do you want to get stronger in order to protect Yang and the others?"
Ruby: "Of course!"
Alex: "Alright from now on I'll be training you."
Ruby nodded in agreement she also clenched her fist which went unnoticed by Alex. Qrow arrived in the room but over his right eye, there was a patch.
Alex: "What happened to you?"
Qrow: "Well a girl came flying at me we fought a little bit but then she managed to catch me off guard and now I'm missing an eye."
'Qrow isn't acting like how he usually does.' Alex thought he put his arm over Qrow's arm. Qrow tried to get Alex's arm off of his shoulder but found that he couldn't.
Alex: "Hey are you alright?"
Qrow: "Yeah brat."
Qrow then turned around and walked away the room was silent before Alex broke it.
Alex: "Hey Ruby I'm going to check on Pyrrha."
Ruby: "Alright."
Alex then left the room and walked outside of the house there was snow everywhere. He used magic to heat himself up and walked to the back of the house.
Pyrrha: "Hya!"
Jaune: "Be careful Pyrrha!"
'Ayo?' Alex thought as he walked to the back he then saw Pyrrha trying to pick up some weapons using her semblance.
She managed to pick them up and started to use them to train against Jaune. 'It seems like she is trying to use her semblance to use the weapons for her.' He thought as he saw Pyrrha launch a small kitchen knife at Jaune.
Jaune: "Woah!"
Jaune ducked dodging the knife he then watched as Pyrrha got on her knees and started to try to catch her breath.
Jaune ran up to Pyrrha and asked.
Jaune: "Pyrrha are you alright!?"
Pyrrha: "Yeah I'm fine Jaune."
Jaune: "Pyrrha... I don't think we should train."
Pyrrha: "I have to Jaune! I don't want to be useless I don't want to..."
Jaune: "You don't want to?"
Pyrrha: "It's nothing."
Alex then stepped on a stick revealing himself Pyrrha turned around and looked at Alex and then asked.
Pyrrha: "Oh your finally here Alex!"
Alex: "Wot?"
Pyrrha: "Shhh just go with it."
Alex: "Alright."
Alex: "I promised to bring Pyrrha with me somewhere."
Jaune: "Alright but can I come?"
Pyrrha: "No! I mean you can't it's a private thing."
Jaune: "Alright take care Pyrrha."
Jaune then walked away leaving only Pyrrha and Alex Pyrrha sighed and Alex said.
Alex: "So why did you want Jaune to leave you alone?"
Pyrrha: "He's a bit clingy...Alright, he's overprotective I don't know why but he doe's everything for me! He feeds me, He walks with me everywhere, and He doesn't want me to do anything! I don't understand?!"
Alex: "Well then why don't you talk to him about it?"
Pyrrha: "I want to but I don't want to seem mean."
Alex sighed and said.
Alex: "Look I think you need to talk to someone who has more experience with relationships. So Sebas the watcher of all romance shows will help you!"
Sebas appeared from behind Alex and said.
Sebas: "Come with me, madam."
Sebas grabbed Pyrrha and left. Alex then walked back into the house and knocked on Yang's door.
Yang: "Ruby I told you I want to be left alone!"
Alex: "I'm not Ruby though."
Alex said and entered the room Alex sat on the bed and asked.
Alex: "Hey are you alright?"
Yang: "No I just want to be left alone."
Alex: "Hey can you give me your arm."
Yang hesitantly gave Alex the arm that was now a stump Alex used magic to create a metallic arm for Yang.
Yang: "Woah! What the hell! How did you do that!"
Alex: "Magic I guess."
Alex said and Yang hugged him Alex patted Yang's back he then got free from her grip and left the room. He wasn't going to visit Penny as she was well sleeping yes they didn't give Penny back to Atlas.
He instead went to Qrow only to find him drinking bottles upon bottles of alcohol. He rubbed his eye patch and said to himself.
Qrow: "I couldn't save Vale... I couldn't even save Yang from having her arm ripped off! I'm a failure aren't I?"
Alex: "At least they didn't die."
Alex sat down next to Qrow.
Qrow: "You were listening to me brat?"
Alex: "Yeah. You know you shouldn't blame yourself for those things. Look I'll tell you something that I didn't tell anyone else."
Qrow: "What is it?"
Alex: "In one of the shops, I have most of the citizens there safe from grim. I'll keep them there until Vale is built again they should be able to last at least fifty years there."
Qrow widened his eyes but then went back to his normal looks quickly.
Qrow: "You know your full of surprises kid... But Yang still got injured."
Alex: "You know I made her an arm right?"
Qrow: "Damn every reason I was depressed gone in one day. Hey, can you do something about my eye?"
Alex: "Yeah sure."
Qrow took off the eyepatch revealing the hole in the spot of his eye. Alex used creation magic and made an eyeball he implanted it into Qrow.
He also used some magic to give Qrow the ability to turn off his semblance and gave him a higher reaction speed.
Alex: "Here you feel better?"
Qrow: "Where the fuck did you get an eye from? Are you just carrying eyes around?"
Alex: "Hell no I'm carrying eyes! I just made one don't question it alright."
Alex then walked away he looked at the window and saw well everyone. He ran out of the building and said.
Alex: "Hey wait for me!!"
Alex then ran after everyone as he was far behind. The journey to Haven has begun!
