Chapter 17: Surprise, Surprise Things Didn't Go As Expected!
Alex took Jame's offer he then watched James stand up and take out his gun Alex got ready to fight but then James said.
James: "Come on let's go and find the leader of that group."
Alex: "Alright."
James and Alex then left the building Alex then turned around and asked James.
Alex: "Hey do we even know where their base is at our where to start looking for it?"
James: "Of course I know where they are located Alex follow me and be quick too."
Alex followed James everyone watched them as they walked down the streets. James then turned a corner and Alex followed.
James: "I'm afraid we will have to go throw the sewers for this."
Alex: "Why the hell would anyone set up their base in a sewer?"
James then opened jumped into the sewers without hesitation. Alex then also jumped down his clothes instantly got dirty and he thought 'Damn it I knew I should've worn something else now my favorite shirt is ruined'.
James and Alex continued through the murky sewers until they could see some light. James took out his weapon and Alex changed his arms into claws they then walked forward.
They saw a massive colony of masked men and women but one of them stood out from the others. In the middle of the room there sat a man with a blue mask he had a sword on his hip and he ordered around the masked men.
James: "When I say go we both run to the leader and kill him understand me?"
Alex: "Yeah."
Alex and James whispered James then began to count down. Once it reached one they both ran to the leader James took out his gun and prepared to shoot the man.
Alex was guarding James against any potential attack. Rein began to laugh and then kicked James in the chest the sound of cracking echoed throughout the sewers.
James: "Shit!"
Rein: "I've been waiting for this moment Ironwood now I finally get to kill you with my own hands."
James: "Tch like hell I'd let that happen. Alex defend me from the masked men I'll kill him myself!"
Alex then had to face about a hundred men leaving James to face Rein. James fired his gun and Rein deflected the attack using his blade James dodged the bullet. James then ran to Rein and used his mechanical arm to punch Rein in the chest.
Rein used his semblance and he punched James in the ribs causing James to spit out blood. Rein then kicked James in the chest sending James flying away James then stood up and started to rapidly fire his gun at Rein.
Rein dodged all of the bullets and tossed his sword at Jame's head. James then grabbed the blade with his robotic arm he then dropped the sword and put the gun into its holster.
Rein: "Are you giving up already."
James then ran to Rein and punched him in the face breaking his mask. Rein was angered and tried to kick James but James dodged and elbowed Rein's face he then grabbed Rein's leg and tossed him away.
Rein's then got up and took out a gun and shot at James. The bullet damaged Jame's aura but other than that it did nothing. Rein got up and stretched his arm out he then grabbed something he then pulled out a minigun.
He began to fire it James barrel rolled and hid behind a piece of rubble. He loaded his gun and aimed at Rein he aimed at Rein's ankle and fired Rein noticed this and moved out of the way.
Rein then dropped the minigun and ran to James to initiate in hand to hand combat James put up his hands ready to rumble with Rein.
James elbowed Rein in the face and Rein punched James in the stomach. Rein then grabbed Jame's neck and started to strangle him. James headbutts Rein allowing James to free himself of Rein's grip.
Rein: "Do you know why I hate you, James. You took my parents away from me made them into slaves leaving me on the streets by myself!"
Rein: "But now I finally will have my revenge!"
Rein then pulled out a remote Alex who finally finished fighting all of the minions ran up to Rein and dropkicked him.
Rein dropped to the floor and said.
Rein: "Hehe you should've taken the remote instead."
Rein then pressed the button and millions of explosions echoed throughout the sewers Alex then picked up James and jumped to the roof and began to dig he then saw a woman carrying Rein out of the sewers.
Alex focused on escaping first he dug quickly and ended up in someone's bathroom he then ran out and looked back. He then saw Atlas splitting in halve he also saw Rein standing beside Cinder looking at James with hatred.
They then walked away Alex then ran back to Weiss's house he saw them watching the news in shock. Weiss turned to Alex and said.
Weiss: "What's happening!?"
Alex: "Well a group of people set explosives in the sewer and blew Atlas in half."
Weiss: "Why is he unconscious?"
Alex: "Well he fought the leader of the group and couldn't beat him."
Pyrrha: "What do we do now?"
Alex: "We will defeat the leader of the organization and then go to fight Salem."
Weiss: "Salem? Who's that?"
Alex: "Well Salem is the leader of grim and is the one basically behind everything bad that happened."
Weiss took a while to digest the info but when she did she said.
Weiss: "How do you know this Alex?"
Alex: "Well.."
Ruby: "He was told by Ozpin!"
Alex: "Yeah so are we ready to kick some as-"
Yang: "Hey! Don't speak in that language while my sister is around!"
Alex: "Alright who is ready to kick some butt!"
Everyone screamed "Me!" so loud that James woke up and said.
James: " I won't allow you to do that!"
