Chapter 9: 9. Treasures.
The courtyard was actually really nice looking. It was a large single bedroom room, with a small bathing area/bathroom, with a large open backyard that was fenced in.
It was fully furnished which was a plus and quite comfy.
This was also a very good opportunity for me. I had alot of useless items that I could sell I had grabbed from the ancient orchid city ruins.
I quickly started sorting them into a different spatial ring to free up space in the cave, remember to do inventory management folks.
I also decided to sell some of the useless junk, like ornamental weapons and armor from the cave. Shit was garbage and I could use more funds.
Along with that I had made a couple of lists and seperated out money to buy up herbs and other goodies in bulk.
I called in a couple of servants to the family.
"I need all of these items sold, you can ask Lady Mu if she wishes to purchase anything from them first, tell her I'll accept some credit if she cant afford it outright and she can pay me later." I toss the first servant the spatial ring with all of my bulk junk in it. "As for you three I need bulk of all the herbs and plants on this list, get whatever you can. I've given you 10 million demon spirit coins each to purchase the items I need."
I toss out 3 more spatial rings and give them each a list.
They had already been informed of my new identity. "Yes young master."
Ah I've become a young master already. Now I can use phrases like 'Do you know who my father is?'.
They head out to start the tasks I assigned them.
"Ah saves me so much time." I kick back on my bed and pull out a book to read for the time being.
The next couple of days were rather quiet, I wasnt bothered much besides the servants making deliveries to me and sending me food. Cause I still can't fucking cook worth shit even with all my knowledge.
However about a week later I had recieved some good news.
Wonder had actually stumbled across the treasures I was looking for including one I hadn't realized was here.
In my excitment I pulled out a black pot, and a large mural.
The demon spirit pot, and the myriad mountains and rivers painting.
"This painting is supposed to be in the upper realm, why is it here?" I look at it confused.
I quickly store it into my soul realm, however as soon as I do it contacts with the temporal demon spirit book and the two combine together.
The soul energy I recieve from the book multiplies exponentially.
Both being space time objects, it seems they are very compatible.
However that's not all.
My soul realm starts to grow at an astonishing rate as various mountains and rivers quickly form in the landscape with the land expanding outwards like a massive super continent.
It gives me a rather bloated feeling.
My cultivation skyrockets.
Black gold rank 2....3...4.....5.. Legend rank....1...2.....3....4...5 then it grinds to a complete halt.
Excess energy is quickly dumped into the shadow devil and the cave of wonder along with being absorbed by the jade bed.
However it still doesn't stop expanding.
"Ughhh!" I feels like I ate way too much food.
To reach the next realm you have to comprehend laws!
I quickly pull on the knowledge of Nie Li for the laws of light and dark.

Motes of light and darkness flood my soul realm.
I start thinking about death and soul laws as well.

The current spiritual god of death is rapidly being drained of his divine spark. For those spiritual gods, if they have less than the understanding of someone else in thier realm of expertise then they lose thier divinity and divine spark and pass on.

Metal, Ice, Dark, Light, Soul, Death, Time, Space. All sorts of divine sparks take form in my soul space.
I have the knowledge of numerous god tier cultivators so my knowledge outstrips anyone in this realm by a long shot.
However some I cant take as that would cause problems for people like Yu Yan who is the spiritual god of fire.
However the ones I did take are free besides death and ice one who belonged to enemies.
In the sky above the massive island a large sun form, this is a fate soul, followed be another and another before grinding to a halt.
"Jesus christ that was rough." I breathe out some putrid air.
All the saved up energy from the myriad mountains and rivers painting had been released into my body in a single burst.
Usually the maximum rank for this world is demigod rank, this is due to the fact that heavenly energy is very sparse on this planet. In higher realms the heavenly energy is much more abundant. There are a couple of tier 3 heavenly fate realm cultivators. But those are all spiritual gods who work for the sects.
I'm now as strong as they are at tier 3 heavenly fate realm.
The spare sun like fate souls are quickly stored in the demon spirit book.
I could have probably gotten a higher rank but I dumped the excess energy into the shadow devil and the cave of wonders. Mostly to prevent my body from exploding and to even up thied cultivation.
The shadow devil can now use void form at 100% speed and has taken on a human like form which kind of looks like my nascent soul except darker looking with red eyes and shadow like clothes.
As for the cave of wonders, it had dark tan sandy colored skin and a distinct Arabian look.
They both sit down and start to cultivate next to the nascent soul.
The good news is that all of the souls can leave my body and fight independently. So I have a sand user, an assassin, and my spare soul which I use to cultivate.
They are able to self cultivate now as well which is nice.
My attention turns towards the nightmare demon pot.
I already know what would happen if I used my soul energy on this pot. There is a massive well of energy inside of it in a hidden space.
This pots main ability is to combine garbage tier demon spirits together and make god level demon spirits. However it also absorbs energy or failed combinations. I have the perfect use for this pot.
I want to use it to get my hands on the last decent treasure in this city. Thunder gods meteorite sword.
