Chapter 2: David Wagner

The day passed pleasantly, they talked for quite a while in the café. Until one of Abriella's friends, who was not very tall, asked them to accompany her to buy a bag in a shop not far from where they are now. The three women agreed and decided to leave right away when their coffee had run out.

"I'm sure this bag I saw, will make you want to buy it too!" Said the woman wearing the sweater as she walked backward because she was facing her three friends who were now looking at her and smiling.

"Be careful Melinda, you might trip!" Jane scolds the woman who has the name, Melinda.

Melinda laughed then walked towards the woman who had exotic skin who was now standing on the right side of Abriella, who then put her arm around the taller woman's shoulder as if they were the same height. Even though Melinda tried to elevate her body on tiptoe.

"I think Natasha is the one who wants the bag the most when you see it!" Melinda said looking at the woman in her arms at this time. Abriella and Jane turned to Melinda then only glanced at Natasha who was currently also glancing at the two of them.

The woman named Natasha chuckled softly and lowered Melinda's hand from her shoulder because she felt sorry for Melinda who had to walk on tiptoe to embrace her. "Okay… Let's see later, am I going to want that bag you said!" Natasha made a bet with Melinda nodding. Abriella and Jane who heard the bet just laughed and couldn't wait to see who would win.

'Brugh!'

The four women's steps stopped when suddenly a body fell in front of them, bleeding so much that it hit the clothes they were wearing.

"AAAAAAAH!!" The screams didn't just come from the four people who witnessed the incident. But some people who were walking there and saw the incident were screaming hysterically.

Some people immediately called security to ask for an ambulance. Meanwhile, those who witnessed the incident, including Abriella and her friends, were helped to calm down and not see the body of the person who had just fallen.

Somehow, Abriella doesn't remember why she was in her apartment the afternoon after the incident, so she asked her friends and said that she had fainted so they took her home.

Abriella didn't ask much about it either, she preferred to forget the incident, and focus on other things that could make her calm. Abriella who just realized it glanced at the clock which showed one o'clock in the evening. She felt she needed to go back to sleep and calm herself that night. But somehow his heart was not calm until she had to take the holy book and hug it until she fell asleep.

Abriella opened her eyes when the alarm sound of the clock she set sounded quite loud. The woman's hand reached out to the side to take the watch and turn it off. After she managed to turn it off, Abriella was silent for a while before then getting up from her sleep and putting the clock back on.

The 25-year-old woman walked to the kitchen to get a glass of water and walked slowly towards the sofa in her comfortable living room. Abriella took the tv remote and turned on the tv to look for entertainment programs, considering that today she would start work this afternoon.

'David Wagner, a businessman who died.' Abriella was silent when she saw a news headline that she accidentally saw on one of the TV channels. Abriella's fingers stopped moving as she read the headline.

"David is suspected of committing an act of suicide by jumping from the fifteenth floor of an apartment in the middle of the city."

PRANG!!

The glass in Abriella's hand fell when the woman heard what had just been reported, she also didn't blink when the coverage showed the scene of David Wagner's suicide. The same place as the place she witnessed yesterday! It made Abriella replay the incident in her mind.

The one who fell right in front of her at that moment was David Wagner. A great businessman whose death was reported on television. An entrepreneur who is idolized by many young people, including himself. David Wagner, even Abriella met him that day! The day the man committed suicide. And one sentence that now rings in Abriella's ears that David Wagner said to her that day.

'I have to go… Um, I hope we can meet again.'

Abriella suddenly felt dizzy, her eyes dimmed and her body went limp. She fell onto the sofa behind her. Abriella's breath became short of breath because of the shortness she felt, she tried to take her cellphone to ask for help. But his consciousness disappeared just before he managed to reach for the cell phone that was sitting on the table beside the sofa.

Abriella frowned when she felt a wind hit her face and body very hard, she felt like she was currently standing on a mountain peak, but the sound of car horns blaring in her ears made Abriella forced her eyes to open.

Abriella was silent when she was currently standing on the roof of a building that was quite high, which made her reluctant to look down. But somehow what happened, Abriella felt her body move by itself turning to look at someone she had not had the chance to see the face because she had fallen due to the push of the person behind her.

Abriella wanted to scream as her body plunged from above, but her mouth seemed to be locked and her body couldn't move freely. She also became very frightened when his body turned and faced downwards. Seeing the ground below, which was getting closer and closer. Until finally all she could hear was the sound of his body hitting the ground and the hysterical screams of the crowd which then turned dark.

"Ella?"

"Ella?" Abriella faintly heard someone's voice calling her repeatedly, which made her slowly open her eyes and stare at a white ceiling. Abriella also turned to the side when she heard the sound of a sigh of relief beside her.

Abriella found her friends standing next to the sofa in the living room, looking at her with concern that made her realize that this was just a dream.
