Chapter 23: Goodbye
I got up and shook myself off. I frowned at this Hyuuga and asked.
"Why did you call me a monster? I can see perfectly well that this has nothing to do with Hinata. Why do you react to me like I killed your parents or your girlfriend? " - I looked straight into his eyes.

Closing the door, I sat down to eat again, but I didn't chew the food anymore. The plan took shape slowly. If I was wrong, it would just be a conversation with the Hokage and it was just ANBU.
But if not, then something awaits me that I will not like. Putting on the glasses, I put the dishes in the sinks but did not wash them.

After knocking I heard a voice unknown to me
"Come in Renjiro."
Entering slowly into the office, I immediately activated the sharingan. It was not visible under the glasses, especially in this dark office. Danzo was sitting at the table !! "Where is the Hokage? I thought he was calling me. " I asked in a calm voice, but a note of tension still slipped through.
"Unfortunately, Daime summoned him for an urgent conversation. Now, as an advisor, I am replacing him. However, I would like to talk to you Renjiro-kun. " - without opening his eyes, he told me this.
Since I had an active sharingan, I saw it. As Danzo's chakra was concentrating more and more in his right eye, directing chakra to my legs and lungs, I got ready.

Looking back, I saw two masked ninjas who jumped after me, throwing shurikens at my chest and aiming at my limbs with swords. Having calculated the ideal combination with my eyes, I beat off the shurikens with a kunai from my sleeve and was ready to sacrifice my hand to kill these two in order to survive as everyone who jumped at me was blown away by powerful sharp currents of wind. Like dolls, they hit the wall and did not rise again.
In the dark cloudless sky, something flashed and hair stood on end. Having landed on the neighboring roof, I raised my head and watched this horror. It became unrealistic scary. The root who was helping the wounded Danzo to rise from the burning furniture felt it too, but it was too late. Observing with my sharingan and ignoring the bright blinding light, I saw a column of light hit and cover the entire building without a single sound.
Only a second later there was a deafening thunder and explosion. Tiles and bricks turned to dust. The ground around the building began to collapse and crack, drying out. Everyone who entered the building without a sound died instantly. The light disappeared and everyone who saw it stood up silently looking at the building. I spread my arms as if I wanted to grab something in the air.
Suddenly, something white flashed by and, clutching at my hands with its claws, it fly away from the village. From a bird's eye view, ignoring the pain in my arms and lungs, I watched the retreating village and the blazing tower and everything around it. It was not only the body, but also the heart that was in pain.
Even though I stayed here a little, there was so much that I wanted to do and learn. The place where I grew up and again felt the love and warmth of the family. The place where my brother was born and grew up, even if not by blood.
No one followed us and in silence, we flew away into the darkness.
"Goodbye, my home .."
